I didn't answer, but I called back and got "If you'd like to be taken off our preferred calling list, please press 1".  I pressed nothing and waited to see if a human would answer, but got nothing.  So I think the 701-509-8523 number is their "live caller catcher"--meaning, if you press "1", you confirm their robodialer found a live caller and they catch you when you press 1 (that is, you confirm your number works).  I HATE these kinds of calls.

Just got a call from this number. Fifteen minutes ago had an unknown call from a 443 area code (Maryland.) I began getting numerous calls from various area codes last Friday---out of the blue. I've also received about a half dozen text messages all for loans and quick money. These calls continued throughout the weekend as well. I re-registered with the "National Do Not Call Registry" yesterday. It takes effect within one month and blcoks a majority of numbers trying to call or text. For numbers I've been getting these repeat calls for I've added them to my "Block Call List" on my cell phone.

Ive received a call today.  I said please put me on your do not call list.  He asked Why.  I said because.  I asked him to tell me his company's name - Third (???) Lending Company.  I kept saying please put me on do not all list and he kept asking why.  I finally said, I dont need to tell you why, just put me on the do not call list ... he started cursing at me ... started out with You F***ing B***h ... then i hung up ...

Got a call from this number and it was gentleman named alex who could barely speak english.  He informed me that pc was going to crash and that he was with world pc tech. (trust me it took a long long time to figure out that's what he was saying)  My guess is they prey on the technically challenged in hopes of selling them security software they don't need.

claimed he was from Microsoft and my computer was sending out viral messages and he wanted me to turn on my computer.  at that point i told him i didnt have internet and he must be mistaken, he then quoted back my phone number. then i hung up.

is someone reporting this stuff to an authority?

I got exactly the same call in the last hour and agree with you.  I think they get you to actually infect your own computer and then need their software.  He had a thick East Indian accident and said his name was Steve Wright.  His phone is 760-514-0111

If you go to donotcall.gov and file a complaint, they will stop calling immediately!  I've been doing that since August 26th and believe me the text messages and calls have gone down to about 1 a week or every other week.  I hate these calls!  I do answer and I tell them they have the wrong # then add them to my blocked caller list on my cell phone.

Got a call  at 12:43 pm cst from this number.  The guy hardly spoke english, and I told him he had the wrong # because I couldn't understand him!  Caller ID said "Forwarded call" and the # 701-509-8523.

I think these people get paid by how many people they scam!

I add every number that calls that I don't know on my blocked caller reject list on my phone and I report them/file a complaint to donotcall.gov

I received a call from this number, today. I didn't answer, but I called back and the message said that this number has been disconnected. I tried to call them back 3 times and each time I recieved the same message. My return call was seconds after I received the call. This is rediculous.

Got a call on my cell today from this number. Did not recognize it & did nty answer. No message was left.

Supposedly from Minot, ND.  When I tried to call back, I got no answers.

A raghead indian (red dot type) do***ebag sounding nitwit called and said I had $1500 bucks available.  I said COOL, send it to me right away.  I stumped the diaper head pretty bad so he hung up on me, I think his brain blew up so he was going to change the diaper on his head.

I just got a call from this number. Said i was qualified for x amount of money. I didnt even let him finish, just spoke very loudly in his ear ABSOLUTELY NOT DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN AND TAKE ME OFF OF YOUR CALLING LIST. Not sure how much he heard cuz he hung up on me. i called back and got the runaround. first all circuts busy, then press 1 if you want to be taken off of our call list so i did. we will see what happens from here.

I do not know who this caller is, but they call continually.

I called this number back and got a message saying "If you do not wish to receive calls from this number press 1 and I did.  If they call back I will scream in the phone!

this indian sounding guys has been calling me all day since 7:30 am cussing me out.  I am going to find this guy and make sure he pays...

these scammers need to be stopped they call from numerous numbers with numerous scams and there is one particular individual who I talk to and waste his time tell him his mother is a 5 dollar crack hoe I have reported them to the fbi but I guess there is more important people to catch than a group of foreigners that prey on Americans

received call on cellphone. didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Tried to call it back says all circuits are busy. I have had several calls on my office phone all saying that i am defrauding a bank due to a payday loan. I told them to send me the paperwork in the mail if i am being sued. I have not received anything to day and now i don't waste my time with their scare tactics!

caution! there is a charge for this service!!! it is written in fine print on the pop-up that asks for your cell number.

Awesome I got this call on January 7th. I told him that I was not interested but I was lonely and glad he called, and that it had been so long since I had a friend to talk to, seeing as that everyone I meet ends up dying shortly after I introduce myself. he he he he. Well that was the end of those phone calls. I say have fun with them, think of the craziest story you can think of. Hey they torture us, isn't it time for a little pay back.

The caller from this number has an Indian accent.  I couldn't barely understand him, told him he had the wrong phone number and I hung up. I don't give my cell number to anyone but family. I'm getting really sick of these calls.

I picked up the phone, no answer but someone was there on the line...then a strange muffled voice (heavy Indian accent).  I just said take me off your list.

I received a call from this idiot and was pretty rude to him informing him i was on the Texas & national no call lists. and then hung up. he called me back four times at which times I would insult him some more and then hang up. the last time he called I told him he must really be stupid to keep calling someone back that obviously wasn't going to buy anything or give any information out!

got a call, didn't pick up.  glad i ran it through here.  called them back and pressed 1 to be placed on their do not call service.  If they call back i'm contacting the do not call registry.

This guy called me at work. I told them not to call me anymore amd hung up on me. They called 10 more times in a row. I answered one more time and said do you not understand english i said do not call me anymore or I will press harrassment charges on you. The guy told me to go cry to my moma I said come to Texas and say that to my face. He said is your mom dead? I said no she works here with me come on up here and we'll both kick your a**. I asked for a supervisor and the jack a** argued with me. I hung up on him again.

I got a call from a male with a heavy Indian accent, that was asking me if I received government assistance?. Told me I had won 2500.00 and all he needed to do was verify some information....LOL. Ask if I had a checking account with direct deposit........Sorry wrong call.....I hung up...He needs to get a job.
