this number calls but will not say anything....

Someone with very limited English asking if we have smoke alarms.  Obvious phone bank.

Got call from this number on my cell phone 3:39pm on Friday 4-1-2011. Didn't recognize number so I ignored it to voicemail, which they didn't leave.

Don't answer when I see the 701.Now that I know what they're about,I'll definitely pass.Is there any way to get them to stop?I've been called 4-5 times.

Got a call from a woman with indian accent.  Told me I won something and handed the phone to her "manager".  They could not tell me how I was entered to win and said they were with a local GE dealer.  Doubt it.  He said he was going to have another manager call me back in 5 minutes to answer questions, etc.  I told him not to bother and that we do not need whatever they are offering and hung up.  

Do not answer this #!!!!

Sounds like a gimmick and I really hope they can not steal any info from me just for answering the phone - yikes.

Got a call from this number 011-701-625-5002 at 7pm on 04/12/11. I let the answering machine take the call...no message was left.

THEY JUST CALLED ME TOO. I CALLED THEM BACK. MESSAGE SAYS IF YOU WISH TO NOT BE CALLED FOR ANY PROMOTIONS TO PRESS 1.  WILL SEE...

Three calls from 7016255002.  Indian started to speak, hung up as soon as he started his speel. Two more calls received but did not pick up, saw # on caller ID.

I just got a call and it came up unknown name.  I did not answer it.  I did find this on another site:

Looks like these scammers have set up their own little tent city!

They have called all three of our cell numbers in our family. It is obviously a call center of sorts....with all the noise in the background. They say "hello" and when you respond they repeat it over and over, then hang up.  **SPAMER**

Do not press any numbers to "be removed", it will capture your number.

Don't bother looking up the number....this (according to our police dept.) is an internet number that was hacked from someone else.

Best advice, if you don't know the number, don't answer it. If it is something/someone important they WILL leave you a message.

Have been called by them at least 6 times in the last two weeks. Nationwide Marketing or something like that. Same Indian (dot not feather) sounding gal. Want to know about smoke detectors. I'm going to start effin with them next time.

She YELLED at me WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU CAN'T YOU SPEAK ENGLISH.
I said well when you get made you sure had speak better english. I told her yes
I do speak very good english and I am sorry I can't understand but a few words
she is saying. Would you please put someone else on the phone so I know what
this call is about. She yelled the same thing again at me and hung up the phone.

Got three calls from these folks today while I was in the shower.  They called three times in a row with only 3-4 minutes in-between calls, but never left a message on the machine.  I plan on blocking the number from being able to get through.

They called and didn't leave a message.  I did not pick up either.

These people have been calling me aswell-I reside in:Ky-They dont leave a message and I heard a odd accient from a male,and then they hung up.In the past I was trying to get some of my info off the internet,and so I contacted this Gov,office that was a senator.I ask who in the hell gives them the right to give out my info!And where did you get my info!They said when you went down to register to vote.They eventually deleted it after a couple of my phone calls.I remember that the phone number I called was routed through N.Dakota to Washington,and that this phone route handles alot more.I dont no for now.My credit is great,I own everything,and I dont pay for anything on cards!I feel it is:Evil!Stay on guard people,watch your a**es!Scum bags are on the prowl!

I noticed there is a tab down at the bottom of this page that when you click it,you can describe what kinda call it was-There is no tab for what I know!I dont want to sound paranoid and bold,but you wonderful people dont no what I know! It is not a SPAMER.Police cant do a thing!Lets just say:the police will of course look at it,and it will be bigger than them!These are scum bags!It takes people like us to communicate,talk,and figure it out.Write this stuff down,and dont be to silent about it.They dont figure strangers will communicate it and confirm this.Let me ask you something?Why does this particular phone number wierd you out?Thats because of the strangeness of it!?Its something inside you thats telling you thats not right!Because its Evil!Its not suppose to make sense!It's how they work.

It's telemarketing - selling smoke detectors.  You can't understand them because it's a foreign call center routed through a US location.  Call back  (701) 625-5002 and press one to opt out - this has worked for all cells in our household.  It doesn't "capture" your phone number, they already have it... just another company unconcerned about the DNC list because they're not located on US soil.

You just verified that your number is legit. Now they will put your number on another list of "certified" contacts, it will be sold for more than the list you were on previously. Your number is now worth more to the scammers and they will pay top dollar to get this list...   Just like spam email...  NEVER respond and confirm that you exist.

I just rcv'd a call from an Indian speaking person who called himself "Sam". He said he was calling from GE & I had won $500 home security system. I told him to remove my number from his database & hung up! I've had several calls from this number but never answered it.

just got called by this number....total scam.  so much background noise that i just hung the phone up right away.  told the lady who didn't even speak english i was not interested and hung the phone up on her.  she kept asking me if i was the "head of the household"  yeah not answering you.  calling us celluar to block this number for me.
