I got a call from this number and they wont stop calling now.  They will not speak

I am in New Mexico and just got a call from this number.  These people spread like a plague!

PANASONIC CAN BLOCK 30 CALLS, UNIDEN CAN BLOCK OUT 20.....

I received a call from this number today. The company is Consumer Debt Advocates based in the US. They are a call centre employed by another firm. They are under investigation by the RCMP for fraud. They are relentless and will not remove their number form their lists. Getting mad at them won't help, but I just blasted them with an air horn. $17.99 from Home Hardware.
DO NOT give out any information regarding your credit cards or accounts. Air Horn them, hang up, and report them to the CRTC and the Fraud division of the RCMP. You can reach the CRTC reporting through the Do Not Call List website.

WHY CAN'T THE PHONE COMPANIES CHECK INTO THIS?  I HAVE VERIZON & THEY CALLED MY CELL #.   THE # WAS  701-661-1061.

It's January 5th 2011 and I received a call from this number. The id showed unknown caller.
I don't answer unknown numbers and it didn't leaves a message on my answering machine.

That is fine to call the scammers back, but that would mean long distance cost for me.

Called me in BC and actually left a message - "are you in debt?, press one now to be connected to a representative."

710-625-5003 appears to come from Minot, North Dakota

These calls keep coming day after day and our Canadian do not call list isn't able to touch them because they come from the USA and don't involve a Canadian company.Bell runs the list and so far it's the only company that has been fined big time for abusing the system. The fox is guarding the hens?

Just got a call from that number. Left no message. No caller ID. other than call from North Dakota. I'm in Alberta, Canada.

Call came up on display a short while ago saying North Dakota.  Never answer these things.  Phone said new message, but when I played it back it was dead air.  Checked this site and  then saved the number in the phone's call block - gotta love the Panasonic phones with that feature.  Now if they call they'll be the ones to get hung up on.  We're in B.C.

Just got my first phone call today. Saw the number and wasn't in the mood so I let it go to voicemail. Tomorrow I will answer with an airhorn. Great idea! I live in NS, owe no bills and have a company cell through telus. We will see the next time they call.

I purchased a $1 plastic whistle from the dollar store and blow it very very hard in their ears when they (or any of those telemarketing jerks) call (it is very very loud). I know that they wear headsets and this will surely deafen a few unsolicited callers but who cares? They take their chances when they call and disrupt my dinner, tv show or whatever!

Companies pay big money to purchase the do not call list. It is expensive but worth our while. You people are just going to have to put up with it because we have to make a living as well.

this is a cell number from martin north dakota that CAN be traced for a small fee. It is with western wireless corporation. The call came from 23rd ave NE at the very end of this road just off of highway 52. I did a sattelite search on this number and this is the location.   Its a rural location just outside of martin north dakota. Bell Canada sold their phone list to this scammer. If  I was closer i would go and beat the s**t out of this prick !!!!!!!!

Receive a call from this number several times a day for many days - ignore it every time.  I'm in Newfoundland and I'm using Bell Aliant.

they call constantly and if you dont answer they let it ring for like 15 times... ANNOYING!

I called that number and they said they put me on dnc list.  We'll see.  Found it funny they insisted on me telling them my name so I just gave a bogus name and my number.

I too got this message now twice, a recorded message about reducing credit card debt (I live in NS), both times have reported it to the CRTC.

It's an automated message saying press 1 if you want to have them help you transfer your credit card debt and press 2 to be taken off the call list.

These buggers call anywhere, anyplace, anytime. They are scumbags who don't care about the law. DNC list is useless, being on the list just gives the scammers numbers to call.

Received 2 calls yesterday - pressed option 2 to have my number removed from the call list and was immediately cut off. Sixty seconds later a second call came through. I pressed 1 to speak with an agent. When asked how I was, I advised I'd be better if they stopped calling me every 60 seconds. I have reported them to CRTC as well. And, by the way, I fully endorse the air horn greeting - for ALL those unsolicited calls. Great idea!
