They keep calling to say there is help with back taxes. I pressed 1 for the 'operator' and asked to be removed from the call list because I did not qualify. She said "you don't know that." I said "Yes I do know I do not owe back taxes." And she repeated that I didn't know that and hung up.

FILE A COMPLAINT with the FCC against these telemarketers: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
The online form is a pain, but try it.
Calling back the 701-661-1002 number gets a voice mail system with option 1 (the only option) to be removed from their "preferred marketer list within 74 hours." Doesn't stop the calls. but you could report that to the FCC too.
Request your number to be added to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY at: https://donotcall.gov/
Legitimate marketers respect this list, unfortunately the spammers and RoboCallers do not.

I got an automated call for wireless security company. If I wanted to talk to an agent I had to press 1. I did just so I could tell them I am on the no call list. He hung up without a word. The caller id name had nothing to do with wireless security. it was "pinstripeshirts"
