Keep getting calls from--#701-661-1003---obviously the same company that uses the 1008 number
I too am on he don't call list-----seems to matter little to these people-------keeps you running for the phone only to find these idiots on the caller ID-------very nnoying---------if it keeps up I will send a complaint to the  Attorney Generals, office in North Dakota and see if that helps

I did get a call but they just hung up.

This is a SCAM!!!!!  Hang up.  And report it to your cr card company.

Anyone else getting calls from this phone number?

Called our house this morning ... left message saying that they were calling about our credit card accounts (no specific account) and that nothing was wrong, but it was URGENT that they speak with us about lower our rates down to 6% and that we should "press 1 to speak with a live operator."  Looking up the number, it is a cell phone in North Dakota.

No one on the other end.

Found the easiest way to get rid of them...when I recognize this type of number, I answer "FBI, Special Agent Johnson speaking.  How can I help you?"  Amazing how fast they hang up!

I received 46 call from this number in 1 day. I am on the do not call list and I still get this.

Caller ID says "Credit Services".  Have never answered, and after reading some of the posts here, I'm glad I didn't!

How do you stop these calls? They call at least 20-30 times a day.. No help from my phone company, except block the call and they just call from a different number.

Please stop this number from calling and waking us up. !

I don't even answer the phone when these phone numbers call me.  Immediately I put the phone number in my internet search bar and find out from other posts (like above) who is calling me.  Don't even answer the phone if you don't recongnize the caller id... At least it will save you the hassle of being annoyed/disturbed/upset, etc.  I admit it is a pain to be on the company's call list -- I too have put all my phone numbers on the Do Not Call List -- but at least I can spare myself the emotions, check voicemail and delete.  Easy as that.

I'm on the no call list, too. This is obviously NOT a valid company. Why doesn't the phone company in charge of this number do something about it? They are obviously scammers, trying to get you to give out your cc number and exp date so they can use it or sell it to someone who will use it.

I received a call about 2 PM. Caller ID said "Credit Card Services". The Robo-call said press "1" for more information.... After pressed "1", I got someone who told me they could lower my interest rate. I asked them what was their company name and they said "Visa." When I asked them for the name of the person to whom I was talking they said "Hans" and then told me my balance was more than $3000. (Amazing since I didn't give them any account information!) I asked them for a phone number where I could call them back and I got "why?" I said I don't believe they were with Visa. I asked them for the company name again. This time I was told it was Visa-MasterCard. I asked for their phone number again and they hung up.

I got a call from this number (701-661-1008 Credit Services) today. When I answered there was no one there and then it starting ringing like I was being transferred. No one ever answered and the call eventually dropped.

Just got one here in CA - robo call hangs-up on you without anyone coming on the line. We've been on the DNC list for years; doesn't seem to matter.

i got this call today to lower credit card interst to 6% must be done today.
they had the name of my bank last 5 digits of my credit card number.
in order to complete the transaction they insist i give them the expiration date.
i told them no way. they rambled on and asked about another card with another bank and they had the first four numbers of that card again asking for the expiration date.
they claim to be working for chase bank.

do not give this information to anybody on the telephone ulness you call your own bank.

I received the recorded call about lower credit card rates at 5:33 p.m. on Friday 08/20/2010, but caller ID said "not_available"

I also got a call today from Credit Services 701-661-1008 here in Orlando, Fl. I too am registered on the "do not call list" but that doesn't seem to mean much these days.

Seems to be a cell phone around Garrison, ND.
I got a live person after pushing 1 at their prompt.
I told them my number was on the no call list. He told me to go f.... myself.

I also got a phone call from this number today and did the same exact thing as sheri's...just kept ringing and ringing until it disconnected.  Annoying.

Received the call at 2:15 pm answered it and all it did was start ringing like I was calling someone and then I was disconnected.  Do not know what the possible purpose of the call could have been other than someone trying to gain use of our telephone line.

You can go to the Do Not Call list web site and file a complaint though.
What I did on my answering machine was record a message with the tone bells that denote a disconnected line then that's followed with my message. People that know me hang on and give a message. Some robodiallers will recognise the tones and take my number off. Just a thought for some of you out there. If I see a number i don't know I don't answer and I let my machine do it's thing.

There is NO reason on the planet in this day and age why the phone companies allow this to happen or are unwilling to allow filters that would only allow approved numbers through, after all WE are paying for phone service and not advertising space.
