please stop posting comments about My company thinking that My company is the company responsible for making these calls, because we are not.. Just because the State of MO filed a motion against us does NOT mean that the motion they filed has or had anything to do with the calls that are being made from this caller ID.. My company only calls and telemarkets from our local 916 area codes. We do not have any other capacity to do anything else, a few months ago were cleared by a 3rd party telemarketing compliance company to prove it. The Motion Against my company is and was mereley a misunderstanding as to how to maintain and recieve the state of MO's local State DNC list.. Not the Federal list. We were told that the state automatically updates the list, and sends it out to companies who have purchased this, and this ended up being not the case. Any calls made to MO residents who were on the state DNC but not the Federal DNC were made in complete error, and we have gone though great lengths to prove that to the state of MO.
  Since this motion was filed in February, the state has done thier discovery, and have drastically offer a lower settlement amount, as a penalty for the mistakenly called MO consumers. No judgement will be made and the case will be dismissed with the next few weeks..  I will be happy to post the results of this once we have finalized everything.. Until then please stop claiming that just because you see this information about my company that it means we are the company calling. You can Call the State of MO yourself and ask to see the complaint against us.. No where will you see that the calls were made from this Caller ID, or any other here on 800 notes, that is not a 916 area code.. And Also NO WHERE will you see that they are claiming that we used prerecorded or robotic or artificial calling to try to alert consumers.. Please feel free to actually investigate that so you can verify my statements here..

I think you are wrong about the company, I saw this post and spent about 2 hours in several conversations with these people. I was aggressive with them, and they have convinced me this is not their callers as they have an in house telemarketing group without the computer caller. I have researched and found this:

Asked to place a sign in my yard. I pressed the no. 9 to get removed from calling list. Reported them to FTC and BBB.

I receive multiple calls (soften more than one per week) either from this number or someone with same message.  It started as a robo message with a making reference the FBI and then offers to have a sign placed sign in my yard to protect my home at no charge to .  I am told to push 1 for more information, or push 2 to be of the call last.  I have pushed 2 many times, and it does no good.     Today, I pushed 1, and a fellow who said he was Jason congraulated me on taking ther the first step to protect my home.  I said I wanted to tell him a short story (probably sounding irriated).  He hung up on me before I was able to continune.  These folks really need to be stopped!

The FBI.........Press 1 if You want to hear more. Or press 9 to be added to our do not call list (like they even have such a thing) .= So I pressed "1".
Right away I get another Recording = "No one is available to take your call, Thank U for calling. Goodbye."

Gonna try something different with these Scumbag SCAMMERS next time.

The SCAMMERS Recording started = 'The FBI states there is a break in every 15 seconds if we are allowed to place a sign in your yard......................Free Home Security System.
Press 1 if You want to hear more. So I pressed "1" (again).
Recorder said "We can not take your call - thank U for calling" and they then disconnected the call.

On Monday they said they had "ENOUGH of ME" = BUT  3 days later they R calling here AGAIN.

Just talked to a woman at 206-330-0881 to get these people to stop calling me also fro the "FBI".  The company is called Caller ID for you and will make it so those numbers can't call you anymore.........I shall see.

I got a ton of calls from this number too.  I am keeping a record and as soon as I can find out who to sue, I am filing a suit under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act

I got a "The FBI reports..." call again today.  This is a scam but is also probably a Caller ID Dipping Fee scam to steal dipping fees from your local telco.

Bitching about these calls here is good to let other people know that this is a scammer number but does nothing toward getting the scammers shut down.

REPORT, REPORT, REPORT.  Report all telemarketing calls to the FTC and your local DNC authority.  I am unconvinced that they are doing anything meaningful but at least it is official documentation.

Contact your state and federal congress persons about having the telephone tarrifs changed to stop the Caller ID dipping fees.  Stop the dipping fees and the telemarketing calls will slow if not stop.

I read some of the posts and decided to try a few.

I called the number is 888-698-6750 several times & got 1 ring then a fast busy signal.
I then called 1 919-855-1020 several times and each time received a recording "WE'RE SORRY BUT YOU MUST FIRST DIAL A "1" OR "0". I then dialed with a 0 and got VERIZON recording asking for a calling card ID number for the call. DO not have a Verizon calling card.

Andrew Higgins has been playing this scam for years.  Google his name and Maximum Security and you will see he's been denying the continued calling for at least the past 4 years.  He is in my opinion a LIAR and now that people have his number (literally) he whines like a baby...complains people are threatening him, his family and his business.  Old saying Andypoo....If you can't stand the heat get out of the fire.  You bring this upon yourself by skirting the laws and bothering people.

Andy's cell number is [removed].  He will deny his company calls anyone but I believe he lies like a rug.  I intend to call this number 10 times for every call I get from his crappy alarm company.

Also if you google his name, you'll find he's been sued at least 4 times by HP and others for not paying bills....low life scum of the earth.

I couldn't agree more with this commentor. I have NEVER had as many calls of this nature as when Obama took over in office. Probably another way to get our classified Info.

The only way to get on the real do not call list, is to probably give the Libs enough money to really take you off. What a crying shame these abusers have gotten away with this. Scams are more and more prevelant with this administration who simply will not enforce any kinds of law, except that which is self-serving.

They call me frequently.  It's a recording to receive a free home security system if I let them put a sign in my yard.  Yeah, I'm going to hand my home security over to phone spammers.  NOT!  I pressed 1 to get a human, but it hung up on me.  I've done this before and gotten a human.  NEVER press the button to be taken off their list.  ALWAYS press a button to speak to a human.  This wastes THEIR time and the more of THEIR time is wasted, the less profitable these illegal calls are.

OH!  And when you get a human, tell them you're interested, but you're in a conference call right now.  Ask them to call back in 10 minutes, but give them the phone number to your local police station! :)

This time, however, the telephone ID screen gave "Security Service" as a name.  This is the first time these people have called from this 701 number and the only time a name has been given on the screen
