Meaning he uses my number as the number you see when the phone rings but really its an other number in santa ana . I'm sorry about the calls it bugs me greatly that you have to answer these calls. Missed the call, no voice mail left.  When I called the number, message was "all circuits are busy"
Must be a telemarketer.  I'm on the no call list.  Am going to report the number.

Received call on (cell phone) there was a voice mail message that it is about a Security System that I have one, press 1 to speak to an agent and 2 to opt out of list.  Couldn't opt out, as it was a V-Mail message and not the recorded message.

Some stupid robo-call about "you and your family have been selected" and then I hung up.

it is very unwise to press any keys at all-this verifies you are a real human and that the number is valid for the criminals behind this ploy-report to FCC and do not call registry-anyone with gps included in their phone who verifies with the press of the key is giving the criminals a "ping" to determine exactly where you are-i research and work to stop criminals like this so please be careful about even answering calls from any single number you do not recogize-people who really want to talk to you will leave a message right away-these calls are very serious and need to be reported asap-getting mad or thinkng that these people have no lives is a bad idea-they are very intelligent criminals

They call from various number, and I have been receiving calls from them for months.  The main guy is name Darren Brown, his number is 949/610-3268.  He will tell  you that he has nothing to do w/ it, but he does.  He will be nice at first and tell you God Bless...but he is full of s**t!  If he was smarter, he wouldn't post things like this on Facebook and claim it isn't him!  Call him constantly and annoy the crap out of him like he is doing to all of us.  Again, his cell phone number is 949/610-3268!

These guys spoof (fake) the numbers that show up on your caller ID systems to keep you from being able to find them ? I finally got one to play along with me until they thought I was hooked, then they gave me all kinds of info to try and get me to sign up and use their mortgage mod service.

The first time they called today, they played a message for car payment reduction ? the second time that they called ? from the same number (406-219-2617 ? using that same lame a$$ recorded message that they always do?) ? they played a message for mortgage modification.  I can play that game blindfolded ? I?m a REALTOR.

So now these baboons are BUSTED upside the head!

Got cranked by these goons?   Call them and tell them how it feels!   Really sick of this?  File a complaint with the FTC at ftc.gov and be sure to give ?em the REAL 411 on these baboons!

Ok...everyone is sort of right, These calls are robo dialers. People are trying to stop the call centers that are doing this .. or scumbag "sales people"  Which is good. but that doesnt get rid of the problem. The problem is the robo dialing service these pieces of s*** are all using. keep calling the ftc about this number. It takes alot people to complain for them to act on anything. However this 1800-603-5605 number. is the number of a temecula CA business that is calling you because the are using this illegal service. They know it. There are plenty others. What happens is when you press one then it routes to these fraudulent companies using the routing service just selling your info. So even if you find who this company is and get them to stop you it wont stop all the other companies from calling you. So to kill the call you have to kill the real monster. The ROBO service

These are pre recorded calls and most generate freom SD/ND/MT areas. They tend to use the same area codes but vary the tele #'s. They are generally cell phones and their carriers are dba's of Verizon. Use the reverse tele # websites on the internet and they will tell you some facts like I mentioned but to get any more, you will have to pay.

I still report them to the "Registry" and I am now going thru the local TV stations/atty generals office in my state/my legislators as the calls are coming freom out-of-state so there have to be some laws they are violating.The calls are always the same and the pre recorded msg won't start till the person answering the phone starts talking so try answering the phone and not say anything and see if anyone on the other line starts first. If not, it is one of those calls and hang up.

You may be interested in reading a news release this office issued in May 2010, warning about scam telephone calls using spoofed North Dakota (701 area code) telephone numbers, at http://www.ag.nd.gov/NewsReleases/2010/05-25-10A.pdf. Since then, we have received reports from across the country of other scams using spoofed ND phone numbers.

If your number is on file with the "no call list" you can file a complaint.  If you haven't done so already, register your number and once it has been on the list for 31 days, you can then file a complaint.

My wife has received 10 or so calls from 701-920-9871 in the last two weeks.  She doesn't answer them now, but did on the first few.  Now they're leaving messages.  After telling me about it, I installed a phone-call blocker application on her Android cellphone.  This is a simple program that offers a "Black List" of phone numbers that can easily be added.  The program merely stops the numbers you add from calling, effectively eliminating the pests.  I encourage you who have smartphones to add such an app (mine is called "Call Control") to your phone. After a few dozen more tries, the pests will eventually give up
