I got the credit card bs as well. this time it was from 701 920 9644. I did register a complaint with the FCC/ DNC Registry. Enough complaints and they'll do something, I'm sure. Contact the ND States Atty anyway.

Now they are calling asking to lower your credit card interest. This is a scam to get your credit card numbers.

I got a call from this # today.and caller ID says "Paper World". Lately, I am receiving tons of telemarketing calls from 701,406 and 402 area codes. Register for the national do not call list as well as your state do not call list. Unfortunately, you have to wait a month after you sign up to file a complaint. This is really starting to p**s me off. When they don't hang up I tell them to take me off of their list and they hang up. They call several times during the day from different numbers but I think it's the same company. Seriously thinking about getting my home phone disconnected. Also, make sure you register your cell phone on the do not call list. The # to register is 888-382-1222

Caller ID came up as "Paper World", but it was my good friends informing me that I am the lucky winner of a FREE HOME SECURITY SYSTEM!!! these people just tickle my heart, they really do. A few times a week I get to feel like a lucky duck. This time I didn't have my handy-dandy whistle with me, so I just said some not-so-nice things and hung up.
I'm not even going to bother reporting this to the FCC and the do not call list people, because they're spoofing numbers and company names, and while it would be very easy for the FCC to trace where the calls are actually coming from, they simply do not give a s*** :)
