I know its a pain in the A$$ but sit through the message. The message States that "This is Rachel with_____" Theres an offer to lower your cerdit card intrest rates & u need a minimum of $2500.00 in CC debt. I checked this site & others regarding this # & apparently theres others. The 1st # i got a cakll from was (701) 920-9973 yesterday @ 7:39am (BTW I believe they cant call before 8am) & today @ 9:00 but this time the # was (701) 920-9994. Ive also read on other pages that they are using  (701) 920-9948 as well. Anyway its time consuming but sit though the message & press 1. You will then be put on hold. The guy identified himself & I immediately went in to not wanting to be called. I stated "All my credit cards are in collections so I know your not calling from my credit card to lower my interest rate" He then said "If your credit cards are in collections we can help" I told him "No, im paying them all off on my own, Im on the DO NOT Calll list & I wish to be taken off their list & do not want to be called again" He said " I will remove you from our list & have a good Day" & hung up. My phone calls just started so I wasnt  overly frustrated yet. I think this was call # 4 in two weeks. that seemed to work. We will see. Try it, Good Luck.

The last two always offer "security services"; the remainder impersonate your own credit card company and would be convincing if it were not for the fact that they don't name the credit card company and will immediately hang up if asked directly.

Please folks, instead of saying "stop calling my phone" (Do you really think the telemarketers are reading this website, or telepathically know your telephone number? Or honestly care that you say "stop"?) file a complaint with FCC:

This is a NexTel number from Center, ND Oliver County, lets all email NexTel and directly complain about this number. I did not use my first name to avoid the owner of this number pick up my name and the use WHO IS .......!!!

Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  A recorded message was left on my voicemail saying that it was freecreditreport.com calling because I recently visited their site and they have a $50 walmart gift card for me as a thanks.  As you guessed, I have never been to freecreditreport.com.

Placing your number on the National Do Not Call Registry will stop most telemarketing calls, but not all. Because of limitations in the jurisdiction of the FTC and FCC, calls from or on behalf of political organizations, charities, and telephone surveyors would still be permitted, as would calls from companies with which you have an existing business relationship, or those to whom you?ve provided express agreement in writing to receive their calls. However, if you ask a company with which you have an existing business relationship to place your number on its own do-not-call list, it must honor your request.  You should keep a record of the date you make the request.

this number keeps calling me, i don't know how they got my number....

I am getting calls 3 times a dday.

I have registerd my phone on the do not call list, but these calls keep coming & I hang up without answering.

this # comes across my husband and my cell phone a couple of times a week but we never answer it.

Calls on March 21, 2011 at 7:35 PM and 5:33 PM and then from 701-920-9871 at 3:23 PM.

Called the 9973 # back and asked to be removed from their lists at 7:46 PM on March 21, 2011.

They said it may take 5 business days to remove.

Block.this number from my cell phone

As soon as I get one of these calls, immediately get numerous calls from more of these numbers. This one was on a recorded line telling me that it was from my credit card company. I was not in default but they had a way to assist me in lowering my credit card bills and payments. The only credit card I have is from my bank and I control the use of it

This number has been calling for several days, the one time I tried to answer nobody was there.  Irritating.

I received three of these calls yesterday and today. but no message was left. Stop wasting my time.

Register your phone to the do not call registry. If you are already registered , report them as I did.

My cell phone gets a phone call from this number everyday about the same time.  I cut it off and they never leave a voice mail

YOU MUST CALL THE FTC....(The Federal Trade Commission)  Trust me folks, I've already been through this with the DNC, the FCC, etc!

Call Federal Trade Commission to file a complaint.  It takes 2 minutes.
The more complaints the faster they will take action on these spammers/scammers.
