ebay collections - luckily I never gave them my home phone ;]

All of you can file reports through your state's court systems, filing motions to remove Ebay's check system from your calling lists. Many Ebay members are unaware that there are governed laws set in place, to protect members from harassing phone calls such as this. Paypal which is a Ebay company, does the exact same thing except there calls are computer generated to call two even three times a day seven days
a week. Simply put if it is a problem to you that you want to fix, than all of you have to take the sole initiative
to go down to your local or state courts to file the motions against them. Once enough people band together
they will eventually remove there systems and eliminate the harassing calls. Strength lies in numbers.

They asked for me by name (in an atrocious accent, and butchered my simple name) and I finally got him to tell me he was with IC Solutions. I said that I wasn't available (seriously ... lol said I was my sister) and asked for a number to return their call at a later time. He said that no, he wouldn't give me a number and that he would just keep calling until I was available and then hung up before I could say anything else.

we have had numerous calls from this number today and other days as well. We do not pick up and there is never a message left.

They call me all the time, and never leave a message, I called them back and Identified themselves as IC Systems, and told me that my call would be monitored or recorded, so I instantly hung up on them.

Yeah, I'm sure it's eBay. I owe them $4.36 - the first # that called, was calling 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. I'd gotten calls at 4am from that one. This one calls almost as much. We're talking about almost 6 months now. Just the cost of the phone calls and salary for whoever is working there is more than I owe them, by hundreds of dollars by now. It's ridiculous. BUT, if they owed any of US money, we could go months without a peep from them. Sickening. I do all my buying and selling on Amazon now. F*ck eBay. They're off the Christmas list. ;)

Just got the call right now. Didn't pick up. No message. who is this?

called three times. i did not answer. they left no message. i called the number back and after being put on hold for 15 minutes a human finally answered with "hello." when I asked what business it was, she said IC systems. she refused to elaborate and hung up on me when I would not tell her my phone number. I looked up the business and it's a collections company.
