Don't call your wireless company about it.  They can't do anything about it unfortunately. Call your local telcom (land line) company.  They have a nuisance phone caller division we can all report this to.

This is one of 6 numbers that I'm going after but the more of you that report this the better chance we all have of stopping this.

I have a Boston area code number but live elsewhere in the country and I too had a call form this number, when I called back it says it is disconnected

I received a call from this number last night on my cell phone where I live in Boston. I let it go to voicemail, no message. When I called it back, it says it was disconnected. Weird! What kind of scam is this!?!

Just got this call as well @ 3:43 PM. I always Google unknown phone numbers, and low and behold, it always leads me to this type of information. Whatever/whoever makes these calls must think people are stupid!

Today, Sept 23, 2008, I received a call at 4:43PM  from 702 215-3022 but there was no one on the line. When I called back an hour later using MCI card, I got a message saying "no longer in service".  Very strange indeed. thxs for the opportunity to Kvetch.

Also got a call from this number.  Silence.  Tried to call back, but intercept recording.  Working in the Telecom industry they're probably using a dialer and can "fake" their ANI (number that shows up on the Caller ID).

Missed call (on cell phone) at 2:15pm ET.

I got a missed call from this number too.  When i tried to call it back a few minutes later- it was out of service!  How does that happen?

I got a call on my cell phone from this area code 702 number (Las Vegas area) about a free room, something about free DirecTV and HBO. It didn't say which specific hotel it would be at, just that general information. And besides, these sorts of calls to cell phones are illegal so they should have no access to such numbers anyways.

got this on my cell phone, but missed the call twice. After reading the remarks in this forum it sounds like a bunch of B.S.

i got a missed call from this number too, googled the phone number and it gave me a name and address in las vegas (probably fake, see below), I didnt bother to call back cus i saw other peoples comments about being pure telemarketing sh*t, what a bunch of loosers

cell rang but number did not reflect on caller ID. Recorded telemarketing message on message. I don't like this. Get enough of those on land line.

This number (792-215-3022) called my cell phone, I answered it, got nothingm no one on the line, but I did hear some recording or computer-generated stuff (I assume a message putting me on hold) and I hung up. Then I called back and got a "Not in Service" message. Telemarketing by computerized calls. IGNORE this number, unless you want to mark it down somewhere to tell your friends.

i missed the call, then called it back and an automated voice says' "the  number you have reached is not in service," and then says, "this is a recording" and then begins to beep continuously.

I just got that, too. What a complete waste of time. Losers.
