Just received the call myself. Did not answer and no message left. Call received on a TX number.

Got a recording that said they needed to discuss something travel related with me. Call was in English and the area code is Vegas but I've never been there so they must have gotten my number somewhere else

Just got the call myself, didn't recognize it so let it go to vm but no message left so I googled it.

Wish the service provider could stop the spam

This number called me at 2:05 am. I'm in California, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

This seems to be a con.  Person knew my last name so not just a random call.  In Spanish said I'd won a prize valued at $4,500.00 and it would arrive via normal mail.  That I had won this prize because I use MasterCard, Visa or American Express.  Seemed to be reading from a script.  Frequently used the phrase "Mi Amor," which means my love.  Frequently repeated the same line of type, at least three or four times, when I asked her to send me this information via e-mail.  Then the line went dead.

I think they are trying to reach naive new arrivals that are desperate enough to believe that this call is genuine.  How is this legal?

...could be someone trying to get caller ID info off of the phones, then do some identity scam.

Got the call 3 minutes ago in Central NJ. Answered it by mistake. Heard static (someone mentioned applause, which could sound like static of visa-versa), then spanish. Don't care for spanish, so I hung up.

Woman's voice in Spanish saying something like "Congratulations, you're caller number five.  Press 1 to continue", so I hung up.

Just got this call on my cell phone in NC.  Didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a VM.

702-224-2596 missed call.

Called back...recording answers: "Thank you for calling. If this is travel-related, we will call you back soon.  If you wish to be removed from our database, please press 1 now."  No actual identification of the company. Sounds sketchy and spam-like.

Just got the call at work, in Virginia, in spanish.. Caller ID said Las Vegas... hung up

I just got a call from this number. I didn't pick up. I don't know how they got my cell number. And I'm on the no-call list! I never gave these people my number online or otherwise!

btw, I'm on the AT&T network... I can't believe I found something about this in Google... Thanks Google!

Just got these annoying calls this weekend, yesterday, and today, in SoCal... Didn't answer cuz I don't know these friggin' peeps!

I just called these people back and they say that they are a travel agency. They have a menu where you can remove your phone number from their data base. We shall see if they really remove it.
