I know exactly how you feel.  I get these text all the time too and get the same thing.  I just got a call from some place called National Pay Day loan, they claim they are from the National and US Treasury Department and US Government.  They told me I could get a loan from $600 to $6000, but I would have to pay 10% up front if I wanted $600, by Western Union.  I told him I did not want the loan and he asked me why.  I told him the reason and he said OK thank you and hung up.  He had a heavy indian accent just like all the rest of them.  These people are scamming people right and left.

I just got that text a few minutes ago. I filled out something with Royal Bank to get a new account but I had no idea they would give my info away. And I didn't even complete the form.

You have to look at the address below not the heading of the link. I get about 20 texts a day. What really makes me mad is these are not loan co., they are loan finders. You fill out an appl., submit and they show a page of the best lenders for you to try. BUT WAIT: A good deal of the time you pick a supposed lender, have to fill out another appl., submit and it shows you a page of the best lenders. I had good luck one day with actually submitting to lenders but one night I filled out so many apps. I lost count and in 4 hours I had only submitted one to an actual lender. I don't think actual lenders send out texts, only these finder people. And here's a good one, I'm trying to find a loan cuz I'm stretched for cash so they bring up my best 2 choices. Both are credit cards, only good for purchases made on an online site in which you pay shipping and a down payment up front, and they charge directly fron your bank (depending which card,all the same co.)
