Have gotten a couple of calls from this number that show up on the Caller ID as cell phone Nevada. No message. Thanks for clarifying what it is...just another way to avoid the 'do not call ' list I think.

When I called this number back 2x's I go a message that said the voice box for Southern Nevada Pools was full (they have called 2x's where I did not answer, so today when he called, he said his name was Don and he was with Dish Network - I then hung up, googled Southern Nevada Pools and talked to a woman who works there. She informed me that was Issac's phone number and that he works for them. Just thought you all might like to know. Strange.

Sorry I ment that that guy was from Dish Network, not Direct TV!! Sorry, Sorry! I love Direct TV... :)

This guy called and said he was with Dish Network and he asked me what TV service we have and he listed a few of them. I said yes we have Direct TV and he said, oh and I guess you are pretty happy with that service aren't you? I said, yes we are, sorry. I was kindof laughing about it because it is saturday and I was in a good mood. He said, oh well can you find any more humor in my misery and I laughed somemore. I thought he was kinding but I guess he was seriouse because he hung up when I told him I hope he has a good weekend. I guess if you going to be in a Job where you have to call people all the time, you need to be happy about it or find your self another job. I don't like people hanging up on me when I'm being nice!

This number called my house today but the caller ID says CELL PHONE NV.  If it was important , they will call back is my motto...why should I waste time and money calling someone if they don't have decemcy to leave a message!

We too have this number call us and when we answer they say they are from DISH Network and immediately hang up.When I called back, it said verizon number no longer in service.  I am thinking this is some sort of gang trying to figure when folks are home, either to sell your number to other annoying sales folks or to figure out a time when people do/do not answer the phone, indicating when someone is home or not, possibly to rob your home.
ew. freaky. anyone know what the heck we can do about this? police report? help!

Got a call as I was preparing dinner today. I said hello at least 4 times before there was a reply. I heard lots of background noise. Finally a female voice said she was from Dish Network and asked if we had cable or satellite. Then asked how many TVs were in our home. I informed her that we were on the DO NOT CALL LIST, DO NOT buy anything over the phone and advised her to take us off any list that they had as I hung up. I am tired of these "people" calling me!!

Anyone have someone in their homes that belong to these filthy partnerships??  That may be why you have these annoying calls coming into your home.

I got a call from this number and no one was there when I said hello two times so I hung up.

Just received a call from this number.  No person on the line - just empty.  Hope they don't call again.  Hope its not part of a scam.  Caller ID said it was a cell phone number.

What does a very white Brooklyn accent sound like? Sounds racist to me...

I've received three calls from this number. When you call it back, you get a recorded message from Verizon saying the number is no longer in service. I had one live person out of the three calls and he had a very black (ebonics) accent. I could hardly understand him. He said I needed to update my process for electronic bank transfer from MyFreeCheck.com as the last charge for my DISH network TV bill had bounced. I told him I didn't have DISH network and had never used MyFreeCheck.com, (both statements are true) but I didn't even get to finish the sentence before he hung up. Definite scam.

This phone number is from an employee/partner from Southern Nevada Pool in Henderson, Nevada.

Always calling, never answering, there should be a way to report these abusive phone calls, and the government should , after a certain number of complaints, follow up-fine-and give jail time to these people.
It sure would be an eat way to raise money.
Oh, thats right, it is easier to just raise taxes on the average guy.

This number frequently calls mine and there is never anyone there. They do not leave a message and I do not know anyone in Las Vegas.

I answered and after a few seconds of silence I was disconnected.  The caller ID comes up with 'Nevada' and I do not know anyone in Nevada plus I am on the do not call list.

Too bad there isn't some way to inflict corporal damage on them.  Thanks all, for clearing this up for us.

Out of nowhere this number started calling me maybe a couple of months ago.

Same thing others are saying: You pick up, silence, they hang up. It's become more regular, like about once a week and as of this week it's now the second day in a row which suggests to me this is going to get worse. I report every incident to donotcall.gov for whatever good that does.

Googling this number quickly shows me it's a well known problem and yet nothing is done about it.  Calling the number back with *67 to block my number got me the Verizon number has been changed/disconnected notice. I guess this isn't going to go away. Really ridiculous. I probably was dumb answering this one or twice and usually I pick up and say "Stop calling" real fast before the hang up. Not working.

What's really dumb is I called my phone company to ask about getting the number blocked and apparently that can't/won't be done. Unreal.

Got a call just now from this number, no one on the line, called it back and it said it was a Verizon number that is no longer in service or has been changed.  If it's no longer in service how does it show up on caller ID?

I have a blocked number, this number came up on caller I.D. I answered, they hung up.

Called today.  I did not answer and no message was left.  Glad I didn't after reading all the other posts about this number.

Called that number today 5 May 2010. Recorded message stated that Verizon wireless number is no longer in service. Has to be a scam. They are fronting themselves as Dish Network. I have Dish Network, and when they call me it is from the Denver area AC 303

Received call at 8:06 PM, 4 May 2010 fromthis number a woman with a Middle Eastern accent stated she was from Dish Network. She asked if I had cable or Direct TV. When I told her I already had Dish she immediately hung up without even a thank you.

I had this same number call my home and I could hear someone in the background saying, "well goodbye".  I am no the do not call list too.  I'll ignore them unless they call again.
