Received a call from Les Luther from Super Rush Lottery Sweepstakes, states I won $500.000.00.  I ask how?  He states my name came up in the drawing for paying my bills on time.   He called early in the morning around 7:30 stating I needed to send $99.00 for taxes, IRS fees, etc.  I told him I was not interested.   The number displayed on my caller ID was 876-852-2456 from Jamaica.   I was also asked if I was single, widow, or married.   That is when I really felt uncomfortable.  Again, I told Mr. Luther, I am not interested.  SO BEWARE my friends.

Got the call a few minutes ago, they must be working with the Jamaican scams or get there numbers from them as we have had a rash of that recently. The guy said his name was Joe Turner. My wife was the "Lucky" winner and she was not here, He wanted to get some information but I did not give any.

Got a call from Collin McRae says he is from Super Rush sweepstakes. He said I had won 2.5 Million dollars and that all I needed to do is give him 150.00 by purchasing a green dot money pack and once I purchased the money pack to call him with the numbers and not to worry bc they couldnt do anything without the actual money pack, he must of really thought I was an idiot bc he wouldnt let up and was trying his hardest to get me to purchase this so I could win my prize, I said okay well I need my husband to talk to you and he said, oh dont do that bc if your husband thinks its a scam then you will lose out on all this money, he said just suprise him when we get there. This is a really mean thing to do because there are people like myself who are in such need of money that you will start to believe that its as easy as just giving them the 150.000 for shipping fees and you will then be a millionaire. This needs to stop but in this world we live in this stuff will continue to happen. I am so sorry Cleo and I will keep you in my prayers. Good Luck everyone and Thank you 800notes.com

Go a very similar call this week, 11/10/11. We have learned to beware of such calls, not matter how needy we think we are. Be satisfied with what you have, that's what these scammer never learn.

Collin McRae says with Super Rush sweepstakes that the president and prize coordinators Scott Parker and David Snider will be on the next plane from Las Vegas to me with a certified cashiers check for 2.5 million dollars, as I had on 9 25 11 entered a sweekpstakes, I needed to pay the check ins. and gaming and IRS fees of $350.00 . I was to go to wal mart etc. get a money pak for $350.00 upon that was to call them back with the money pak purchase number. They would be at my door within 4 hours then I hand them over the money pak and they hand me the certified check.I got nervous and called the 800 number on the back of the card and it was too late, within 30 minutes of purchase .I spoke with the dispute dept. this all happened within 30 minutes of buying the card. my ignorance of being told and thinking the money pak was like a loaded credit card was just that. in reality just having the numbers off the back of the card is enough to get the money the actual card is not needed to swipe etc.I lost my job after 26 years employment in June this is a devastating blow once again.I was on hold with money pak dispute company over 20 minutes as they said the money was loaded on a debit card. I spoke first with Roze at money pak who took all information then I spoke with Chandler who kept trying to rectify putting me on off hold , then said I would need to contact my local police they would give them the id of the person who's debit was loaded with my money pak. the police dept. was not

This number has been calling me and asking for someone that doesn't reside at this number. When I ask questions they get offended and hang up.  I have had a male and female call and they both sound African American. They are asking for Lee Kwan I don't even know anyone by that name.  I have heard this is a fraud number (702 area code) but why would they not ask me any questions and insist that I know this person that I don't know.

I was not excited when this guy said I won 2.1 M from a sweepstakes. I was scared when I heard him over the phone but i was listening very well and try to get more information about this person. I wish the FBI will put this person to jail and rot there.

This man threatened to kill me

It is illegal for legitimate lotteries to charge you any fees to collect your prize. Also a legitimate lottery would be able to deduct the taxes from your winnings. Do not prepay for insurance, taxes, or any other fee's they are a scam.

I keep getting calls from this number. He says he is Ben Thomas. Same old scam different name. Do not trust this man.

His name is Howard Richardson. He says he is from the FTC. Same old Stuff send money for insurance and taxes. Oh, need some more money, stuck in customs, money is frozen. He defrauds the elderly. He should be ashamed.
