During the previous Bush administration, there was a law passed to prevent this type of abuse, with severe penalties. You would call a gov. number, register your tele number, and un-approved solicitors were denied access to call. Does anyone know if this still exists? My son applied at some job site on line and the calls have been coming since, sometime 30 a day, all with hang up. Must be some automated calling system. Their angle? Probably a 12 year old who just likes to feel empowered. Or, they wish to know when you're home, possibly to rob you?

Shortly after I submitted applications for employment, I started getting calls from "Institutions" for "Continuing my education". I think it is because I answered "yes" on some of the applications that asked me if I would be willing to attend classes to further my education.

This number is from Echo Systems.  Called me 5 times in the last 3 hours and never left a message. Very annoying.

They have called me six times in the last five hours. Four times in the last 30 minutes. I can't answer them because I'm at work, but this is getting ridiculous.

They are very annoying. I have to turn my phone off now when I need to concentrate. I called them back and pressed 2 for do not call. They gave me a few days off then stared calling again. 7 times today that I know of. I called them back twice today and pressed 2 both times. This is illegal. Why are they still in business?!!

Like everyone else...I receive these calls about 10 times a day....called and pressed#3 # 2 and #1 and nothing works.

I have no student loans or anything. Only thing I can figure is im applying to jobs online and in tiny print when you click to agree all info is correct you are also agreeing to getting calls from education recruits whether you said you were interested in furthering education or not

I keep getting calls from this number, very irritating. I have yet to answer...I don't pick up for numbers I don't know....I get about 4 calls a day for the last 3 weeks or so...who are they?!!

Call every 20 minutes.  I believe it has to do with signing up for on line courses.  I answer and they hang up.  They never leave a voice mail.  What is their point if they don;t answer or leave a voice mail?

It's a cold call college; they keep asking me if I have been looking at going back to school. I finally answered and told them no and asked to be removed, but I'm still getting calls. Add to the reject list.

They have called me a lot in the last few days. I was curious to see who they were, they had a prompt to choose between Cust Serv or... to request to be put on their Do Not Call List. I Couldn't identify who they are or what they sell. I pressed #2 which is do not call.They say it will takes effect in 48 hours. I'm still in this time frame... but they had increased the number of calls... Lets see if they stop for real....

Do y'all play games on facebook? This is a Las Vegas number and my son just started playing a game on facebook called MyVegas. I'm wondering if it's related somehow? It's my number he has on fb even though it's set to private, those games have access to your personal information.

They started yesterday.  Have not picked up and no message has been left .  5 calls in three hours so far today .

Whom ever this is has called in the last week @ ALL hours of the day!!!  2pm 4 pm 6 pm;  9,11,1am They call in three's.
I tell them to please take me off their list, but I get no response.

This number has called me one hundred times at least in the past month. I never answer in fear it's a scam of some sort that's been going around if you answer it. It says it is calling from Nevada. With all of the complaints on here I am frustrated nobody had gotten anywhere or done anything to finally put a stop to this and end it. Very stressful. Never leave a message. I don't want to call back since that doesn't seem to do anything and they will know my number is live. Somebody please help us.

the caller id says Echosystems- I  am putting them on the do not call list. PS- don't answer, it will just give them confirmation that they have reached a "live" number!
