Answernet is a survey company who bought MRC to keep them from going bankrupt and has been in business for a long time I participate in paid focus groups through them.

Surveys and age requests, 2 callers I've had both sounded unsure of their pitch
Only real survey company I know of is MRC
The wouldn't tell me a name of business or business license number and are calling cell phones.

call and said they were willing to pay $25.00 for a television survey for age 18 thru 35 - ask if any lived here in that age group - I said no and the female caller asked me if I was sure - I said I own this house therefore I should know who live here. I called the number back and was told by a guy named willis that this was a survey company and said he would place my number on the do not call list - he wanted my name which I refused to give

Just got a call. Answered and no one was on the other end. The caller ID said: ANSWERNET
