A person called me from this number and said he was updating the phone directory. He called and asked for personal information. When I said I did not have an account with them and wanted to know his name he quickly hung up.
I received this call today from unkown 702-368-7567
Thinking that with my call block feature on that at least they identified themselves. When I answered the phone, they hung up. That pissed me off, and I quickly called them back. Only to get more upset hearing how I dialed a disconnected number. I promptly called my operator and reported the problem. She says many sale calls and bill collector companis have the ability to set up their number that way allowing only outbound calls but no inbounds. She continued to tell me that the system sees the number as a good identified number and they know who it is but the name shows unkown to me... and to ask my service provider to add the feature to block the unkown names. I should have thought of that! I am a bill collector, and our system uses a 513 number that shows up when we call out but we give our 800 for them to call us back with. Although they can see the 513 number... when they call it, it goes to a company answering machine. WOW! Now I feel like the rest of them. Many things have blocked us forcing us to announce ourselves. Which is good but really a hassel. I am looking forward to yelling at the person behind this 7023687567 number!!!!!
They called my cell number (which is on the national do-not-call list) and offered "a consolidation service for all types of outstanding debt." Obviously, I expressed disinterest and hung up.
I am getting 3 or four calls from this company daily. I asked to be removed from their list but the calls only became more frequent. UltraWeb, the name of the company, calls with different solicitations I am not interested in. I've reported them to DoNotCall.gov.
