I received the same scam letter from Mr. Jeffrey Volkmer who offered me an Aupair job in his house.Do not believe him, he is a scammer. He was asking for money.

he is a scam, a fraud. A man who feeds his family and  eats scam money.
I pray this person be caught so he stops victimizing others.
The children you hear, are  all front... he also speaks about his wife who has cancer...
wish its true... so he tastes the agony of cancer in his family.

Gosh! Those people are really stupid. They tell you all that crap without any proof and then want a money transfer to some address through Western Union. I told them that I have only $800 from $1200 and that I could send this part and then the rest. 3 hours later "Mr. Manfred Hankel" called me to talk about my problem. He said it was fine and that I had to send the first part, the second part will be paid by his brother form CologneGerman.

Firstly I prefer the pounds as a salary, then you should send a signed contract with the terms on it along with a photo copy (signed) of your passport. If your passport is not a UK passport, then I need your proof of your legal status to work or live in the UK.
Also I need a copy of a house bill showing your name and address on it that is no more than 1 month old.
I need as well names and addresses of two people that are not related to you as references.
To pay my tax for me you must be set up for PAYE. Tell me how you are liable for the tax and how I can check that you are paying my tax.

I recieved the same letter, this man called me twice, yes his english is not very well but i can understand him right. My friend called him and heard some voice of children in the background.

Hey guys! Pls help me with this. I have doubts on its authenticity simply becoz it's too good to be true. If you read the letter above (the letter that was sent to me), it really sounds so good but what's really nagging me is that it took only several days for him to decide that he'll get me as an English teacher for his kids.

Anyway, I already received a copy of a signed contract from him and he wants me to sign it immediately and email it to his supposedly immigration lawyer friend, Richard Hammonds. Any info you know about this guy, pls inform me.tnx!

I've also been hit by  this character. He used the name Prof. Kirk Schneider and the same letter as above. His contact phone number  didn't make sense. It was +447024075945.

Complete SCAM.....be careful!  I have the authorities checking into the situation in both the UK and in the States.  It is really repulsive that someone has to use other people's livelihood in order to try and make their own way in the world....

What a joke. A guy called up to speak about me sending an email of the signed contract. I asked for him to send this request by email from his Mercedes address and he said he couldn't hear me because the phone line was bad, then hung up.
He later called and said he would send an email when he got back to his office. Knowing a little german I spoke to him in that language and asked if he was able to speak Deutch and where he was from. He paused and said yes... I then asked in english if actually spoke German and he hung up never to call again. He sounded african and probably wanted the signature to match with my personal details and rack up a credit. BE CAREFUL!!! DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY INFO OR A SIGNATURE!

I got a a person email from this guy saying that his wife died of breast cancer a few months ago. It's crap.

CONTRACT LETTER
?    For the Purposes of this contract,  Mr. Volker Distel Schneider will also be known as the ?employer?, and Ms. Elise Shantala Forrester will also be known the ?employee?. Both will also be known as ?parties?. The employee?s contract period shall be one year, beginning in February of 2009 and concluding 365 days later (one calendar year). The contract may be mutually extended.
?    For the contract period, the salary will be $5000 (US Dollars) per month, tax free and free of any other costs. The salary is to be paid promptly on the 25th day of each month, $5000 in each case. The salary will be in United States dollars, and will be immediately available to the employee for deposit into a private employee bank account. In addition to the stated salary, the employer will pay, for the contract period, all costs pertaining to employee?s medical and dental insurance. Also, the employer already rented a private, furnished, two bedrooms apartment housing located at # 1 Blatherwick Crescent, Shenley Church End, Milton Keynes. The private housing is of a reasonable nature for the employee's comfort i.e., air conditioning/heating, local telephone, electricity, Internet, water, gas. The employee will maintain the provided housing in the condition received. Any new damage caused by employee negligence will be repaired at the employee's expense, at a reasonable market value for materials and labor.
?    In the case of employee (medical) emergency, the employer will grant up to 10 days of paid leave time to the employee. If needed, airfare back to the employee?s city/country of origin will be provided at the discretion of the employer.
?    The employer will provide any materials (books, photocopies, internet, software, stationary, etc.), and transportation costs related to the execution of employee job responsibilities.
?    A paid leave time of three weeks shall be provided by the employer, not including National holidays. Leave time may be taken by the employee all at once or in parts, at anytime within the contract period, but shall be mutually agreed upon.
?    The employee will be responsible for teaching English Language in particular to classes of no more than two students. In general, the employee will teach all core aspects of English as a Second Language as well as Academic Skills, as needed. Computer Assisted Language Learning will be used to augment lesson plans when suitable. Students will be given regular feedback on homework, in-class exercises, and tests.
?    For the contract period, the employee will make any and all efforts to teach in a manner that is professionally conducive to learning. The adoption of any suggestions by the employer as regards teaching will be at the sole discretion of the employee, who is an acknowledge expert in ESL pedagogy. However, all such suggestions will be given due and professional consideration so as to provide the best possible working relationship between parties. The employee will meet at least monthly with the employer for performance reviews.
?    Employee?s style of teaching should be Socratic and inductive, and thus does not involve an authoritarian or military approach. As such, any demand by the employer for a military approach to teaching will be deemed as an instance of contract breach.
?    The employee is required to work four hours per day, from Monday to Saturday. Any mutually agreed upon additional work shall be compensated at the rate of $65 per hour.
?    The employer will pay entire cost of employee?s work permit, visa application and processing fees.
?    The employer will pay all of the employee?s flight ticket cost.
?    The employee may come with  dependant (if any).
?    If the employee does not or cannot fulfill contract obligations due to grievance, all sincere efforts will be made by both parties to settle the grievance in a mutually satisfactory way.
?    In the case that the employer is meeting all contract obligations, an employee breach of contract in excess of 10 days, without resolution, will result in employee repatriation at the employee?s expense. The employee is entitled to any earned salary that occurred before termination.
?    In the case that the employee is meeting all contract obligations, employee will be released from this contract if the employer does not or cannot live up to contractual obligations outlined herein. In the case of employer contractual breach exceeding 10 business days, the employer will promptly (i.e., within 3 days) provide airfare back to the employee?s city of origin and also pay all remaining employee?s 12 months salaries.
?    If any other version of this contract exists in any other language, this English version shall take precedence.
?    If the employer is pleased with work done at the end of the contract period, a bonus of 1 month's salary will be granted, and/or a new contract is re-negotiated.  The employer will also provide a letter of recommendation for future use of the employee.
?    Once signed, this employment contract may not be altered by either party unless reciprocally agreed upon by both parties as being mutually beneficial.
?    By signing this contract, signatories acknowledge that they have read and understand its contents and will abide by its obligations.

The letter you have received is a scam. No one would pay that amount of money or offer a place to stay in that location to anybody when everybody in the UK already speaks english.

The average wage in the UK is 24k sterling per year. The offer is for almost double that.
