We recieved a call from a John Rizzo at 1877-970-1010 ext 718. My boss is 70 and his wife also. The wife was so excited from the phone call and believes anything someone tells her. So my boss called him back and all this great advertising info was given and today I was to research it all. I type in www.unioninfocenter.org I knew it was a scam from the website name but good old fashiion folks still believe everyone tell the truth. As soon as i bring up the website its first 2 searches say rip off report.

Called the 877 # and pressed zero and the operator who anwesered was very helpful and said that union info center is a cold call center and they sell ads that are flooded to websites causing mass pop ups. Sounds like a hijacker slipping in your back door and stealing all of your person info.

I think you should turn off all CAPS and learn puncuation. This is a definite scam there is no such connection with the Union which is funny cause there ares so many that not one is actually mentioned. Throwing key words out in hopes of ripping people off is disgusting.

Contacted by Sam Cain about seeing union members and military.  No pitch yet for money.  But when I asked whom would be the payer, he said it would all be out of pocket.  When inquired why they wouldn't simply use they're health insurance to pay for services he said they are people that don't want a record of they're therapy?!  Hmmmm

I just got a call from "Mike Daniels" (1-866-472-9716 ext. 715) who claimed to be  a union liason representing "all unions", had me go to www.unioninfocenter.org and then proceeded to read from a script. i  could hear lots of noise in the background and it sounded like a boiler plate call center. I asked him to summarize for me as I was on a time schedule, and asked if there was a fee involved. He told me I didn't want him to explain and he promptly hung up in my ear!! Lovely, reputable organization .  Baloney.

The person who just called me decided he wasn't going to get anything out of my organization and abruptly ended his call with "I can tell this isn't a good fit. We only deal with QUALITY organizations for OUR members." Love the gratuitous insult!

Today the caller was Samuel Cain of United Info Center.  Phone number was 702-330-3910.  I called a real estate agent who has been advertising on their website and she has gotten nothing.  I know the agent and trust her; called a second agent and got the same story.  My friend paid $265 for two years; I was being quoted $525 for two years.  I think I'll pass on this and focus on getting referrals from past clients.  A lot cheaper and a lot more fun!

I just got a call from this company saying that my they could help me to get more clients for my biz because they had connections to all the union all over the states. One guy told me no cost, then he went on saying that the cost of JUST one time fee of $365 for 2 years. THAT'S A COST!! Then another person took over saying it was $240/ 2 years for 3 counties. Thinking that I was hooked, he wanted me to pay for it on the spot and if I changed my mind I could cancel it within 72 hours. I said that there was no way I would give my credit card info and authorized $240 payment without checking out their reputation first. I could tell he was annoyed and hung up on me quickly. One question, I asked was, isn't it easier for the union members to just SEARCH OUR BIZ DIRECTLY ON THE INTERNET WITHOUT GOING TO THEIR WEBSITE? I mean if I was a union member, I would just click on search engine if I needed to search for a local biz rather than go to their website than go to the county then blah..blah... I mean it would be taking the longer way to find things..I didn't think it was wrong to ask that question, I think it's a very logical question. But...whatever.

I received a call from Eddie at 702-426-2083, very high pressure attempt at a sales job, asking for $365 to advertise on their site. Very obvious con artists.

If you just went to the site and clicked on "Click here to find union members in your area" and then to your state and then your county you would see that there are a lot of service providers in your area that have signed up to offer member discounts in your area, you dont have to sign up for anything, its free to you if your union or military active or veteran.  We send out bi-weekly newsletters to ALL the unions across the country by e-mail and they should pass it on to their members.

Received a call today from Drew Parker.  He left a voicemail message stating he was a Union Liason and Research and Development had given him my name because I checked out as  qualified real estate agent who his memebers needed services in Waukesha County.  I am a Realtor in Wakesha County but the message soundeed like he was calling from a call center and he left a toll free number 866-472-9716 ext 729 so based on other posts I will assume this is a scam.

Jamie... Or Ted... Whoever you are... Do you realize how hilarious it is to read this thread? A ton of different people discussing the weird scammy calls they get from you, and then suddenly, out of nowhere, four ultra glowing replies in a row claiming how wonderful and lucrative it is working with you. Not sure why these happy satisfied customers, who have already done business with you, suddenly were searching for your phone number on a "who called me" website. Bit the best part is when in your posts you get irate and sarcastic and insulting ... In sentences mixed together with ones that are still hyping your weird business. Going to go get on with that unreasonable thing I call a life now! See ya!

I too received a call but the difference is I am a person who thinks out of the box, and I understood the value of this service. This was no different then buying a promise with radio air-time with the exception that I paid only $ 365.00 for 2 years, not $ 3000.00 for a month. That means for those intelligient enough to blog negative blogs without knowledge, is no more than .50 cents a day for the 2 years, and if my business cannot recover this with this service provider network then I am doing something wrong. But of course, who believed in Motown, or Microsoft, or facebook until it became big.........make your own intelligient decision, do not be deceived by others stupidity.

Thank you for validating that the service they are providing is legit.  They never made any promises, nor anything misleading...they are attempting to provide for their members quality services around the United states. I too am very happy, and those people with their negative blogs...well who needs them.

that has posted who has not used the sevice has NO RIGHT to put down a service provider network that is making the attempt to bring quality service to the union and the military members who, by the way, we get to use the site for this feature for free. Frankly I am tired of googling and getting 100's of pages when all I have to do on unioninfocenter.org is look at my county.  So unless you have used the service, which by the way I have quite successfully done so, you have no right to put it down. Unless of course you have no life and making others miss an opportunity because of your uneducated comments, well none of the other sponsors want you on there with us anyway. We are on a mission to provide our services to our union and military members, you can go on with your unreasonable thing you call a life.

Just got a call from 702-534-0976 here in California.  Joe something? Person talked very fast and said he's received many requests for my type of services from Union members (although he had no idea that we are a mobile veterinary service that specializes only in providing in-home euthanasia).  Same request, wondering if we can take on new clients and telling me that I need to be in front of a computer...when I told him I was on the road he quickly got off the phone, telling me to call him at 866-472-9716 x 717.  I'm not sure if this is a scam, but I had no idea what the point of the call was (couldn't tell if he was trying to sell me something or getting information or what) so I googled the numbers and found these testimonies.  Interesting...

This is definitely a con, just some ad salesman posing as a representative of unions. The fact that he cites tragedies as part of the con just shows how low this con is.

I believe this person Ted Rice is a con man. He called my private practice phone number and asked if I would be interested in taking on some work with PTSD in the NY or CT area. This is just several days after the massacre in CT. When I asked him how he wanted my help, he asked me to go to the computer. I asked him to repeat what he wanted, and he hung up on me. I called him back (caller ID) and he said he hung up on me because I was asking a bunch of annoying questions!  Beware of any calls from this person.
