CALLED ME ALL DAY MONDAY AND EVEN 5 MINS TIL 9PM...WHEN I ANSWER ANY PHONE I ASK WHOS CALLING, THE LADY SAID IF YOUR NOT ___----THEN WHY ASK WHO IS CALLING. I HUNG UP ON HER.

NOT SURE HOW THEY GOT MY NEW NUMBER I HAD ONLY A WEEK AND ITS NOT EVEN UNDER MY NAME....WTH

I will be in a class action suit should you need me.

i received this called today, but i didnt answer it.. i been gettin calls like that from left n right i dont answer them

I have been hounded by them also. Soooooooooo I put a call blocker on my phone of twelve different phone numbers they use. Today (6/19/2012) i got my first vall and the ID was 267, just thre digits. then a few minutes later I got a call from 99999999. A few minutes later I got a call from 702-410-7489. This was all in a span of 7 minutes.

Get the Panasonic phone: you must have caller id service. You can block up to 30 numbers; some of these jokers have hundreds of numbers that they used, at least. Turn your phone ringer off so you won't hear the harassing ringing; these callers by now should know, take it else where, nobody is listening to them. If you must leave your phone on, notify family members that you will only answer when you hear their voice on the answering machine. View the consumerfinance.gov website to know your rights and you can file your complaints there if it is a third party debt collector and your past debts are beyond the statue of limitations. Don?t ever answer yes and no questions from anybody who you do not know and especially if you did not initiate the call.
There should be something done about the incessant harassment via the telephone.

There must be some type of network where these harassers are adding your telephone number to a data base. They must be in cahoots; every tom, dick, harry, sue and jane is calling and for what. If they do not leave a message that is pertaining to you, do not call them back. If it is important, they will leave a legitimate number to respond.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THAT DO NOT CALL REGISTRY........IT IS ABOUT AS USEFUL AS MOST OF OUR POLITCIANS............JUST DON'T ANSWER THE CALL..........LET THES A** HOLES SPEND THEIR MONEY..........SOONER OR LATER THAY WILL STOP CALLING.......I NEVER ANSWER AN UNKNOWN NUMBER....

These jerks call daily, we do not answer. But we can because we are in WV and the Attorney General has a lawsuit against them and they are court ordered not to collect, however, paiment can be made if we so desire--which we don't. 2013 will be here soon and the statute of limitations for me will be done, and then I will get the phone number changed!!!!!

they keep calling, i never answer the phone, however I keep reporting to Do Not Call registry.   Court case will deal with them.

This number called my home phone which forwards to my cell. No message. It's the first time I've seen the number come up.

Can you tell me where I can find this information.  They are calling my residence for someone that moved out years ago.

Portfolio Recovery A**. has called exactly 200 times since they "decided" to "cease collection efforts" in early September of 2009, when they issued a fraudulent 1099-C in the amount of almost $5000 on an unverified "debt" from 1997. Talk about Bottom-Feeding Pond Scum!
Dumber than dirt AND evil, they will suffer the consequences one day, and it is kind of fun to watch them in action meanwhile. Some lawyer who works for them wrote to me that they bought a printout from some bank I never heard of in 2001. EIGHT years later, in 2009, these a$$hole$ began harassing our household, making the phone ring probably more than 1000 times. No one has EVER picked it up, much less spoken with them, but they keep on.
My theory is that they are dead souls, serving their time in Hell, sentenced to ring up phones that never answer, through eternity. They must have been working in the financial sector selling derivatives during their time on earth;-)

This company keeps calling using many numwers in many states, They completely ignore the no call phone system.

These jerk offs call every day or two.My friend says never answer the phone they are trying to get a point of contact.She says after awhile they will stop calling.They will sell your debt to another junk debt buyer and history repeats itself.I cut my ringer off,so my phone never rings.I only use my phone for my computer.They can knock their self crazy because they want ever get anybody.I only know they called when I look at the red light blinking on my phone in the drawer.My cell is set to address book only.So my phone never rings at all.I check blocked calls once a month.I live in the middle mountains.Port

Every week calling and getting on my nerves,they just keep calling I just stop asweing the phone. Now its everyday.

If you have high speed internet, change your home phone service to VoiPo.  Their website is voipo.com.  They have a "white list" feature that allows you to enter names and phone numbers into a contact list.  ONLY those in this list may call you.  Other callers will be sent to a destination of your choice, whether is be a busy signal, disconnection tone, voice mail, forwarded somewhere else, etc..  Bottom line, NO ONE you don't have in your contact list will ever get through!  

If you have a Droid smartphone, download the app Mr. Number.  With this app, NO ONE you don't want to get through to you, will!

Did you know you can sue them if they called even once after you told them you were no the person they sought?  You can make $10,000 for each call if you have call records that prove it, otherwise I hope you enjoyed your trip to court.  No proof (your testimony is not proof), no case.  The called my business today looking for the former owners.

God these people never stop calling. I've explained to them, I AM NOT THE PERSON THEY ARE CALLING FOR!!! They have asked for my mother and other people that I don't even know. I have been polite and even went through the hassle of FINDING my mothers number and giving it to them yet they insist on calling me. It's almost as if these people are too stupid to realize CALLING ME GETS THEM NOTHING. -.-

They are outrageous. They call me at least ten times a week. I'm young (early twenties) and haven't had credit but for a year now (corresponding to my employment). They called me as a teenager in school claiming I owed money. At that point I had only ever paid with cash or debit for everything. I attended college on scholarship with NO loans so it wasn't like I had any debt either. I really think they pull numbers out of thin air. I do have a credit card now, but i never exceed $100 in a billing cycle, and I pay it off every month. Really the only reason why I have it is bc I work retail and in order to get my employee discount you have to have a store credit card.

Just got a call from them asking for Karen somebody.  Told them it was the wrong number and to take my number off their calling list.  We will see if that happens, if not I will take legal action and they will be paying some hefty fines.

Yes you can harrass them back.  I sometimes will call them back, you will get the usual speech from a recording stating that they are debt collectors and all info obtained for that purpose. . . . then you wait . . . . when a live person comes on the line I either just hang up on them or sometimes I will remind them what A-holes they really are before I hang up. . . . . then repeat. . . . over and over again! It pisses them off to no end!
