This is a scam I used to work for him and when I realized what he was doing I quit.  He is calling people and making up this story about how the owe 488.88 because they did not take a second tour if they ask for proof that they agreed to this he will tell you that by staying in vegas however many years ago you agreed to it and then he will offer to email you a fowarded email that he originally sent to you however many years ago BUT HERE IS THE SECRET THE EMAIL IS FAKE he emails him self then fowards it to him self and doctors the email address and the will send it to the customer. the reason he waits 5 or 6 years is not because he can put in collections in 7 years but because he is hoping that the customer will be to stupid to ak for proof
DO NOT GIVE HIM ONE CENT HE IS A FRAUD
Christopher Greene has been in jail for drugs and will soon be prosocuted for fraud I have written the state att and the florida dept of consumers affairs that is who you need to contact to get anything done.

Called and said they were from First Class Travel.  We took a trip in Sep 2004 and we were suppose to complete another in a four year span.  When I started asking for details they got really shaky.  Said they would send me an E-Mail with the details of the contract I signed, never received it.  I do beleive this is fraud.  They did have some of my personal info but that could have been stolen.  The guy said he was from the legal department and his name was Chris Green.  I tried calling back the number and never go a live person only some cheesey voicemail system.  DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS ANYTHING - NO INFORMATION - NOTHING!!!!! THEY ARE FRAUDS OUT TO ROB YOU!!!!!!!!

All the same happened to me and I paid the darn $433!!  I then did more research and realized it was a scam and contacted various agencies.  Well, to my surprise, about 4 months ago I was contacted by someone from Florida State Consumer Affairs responding to my complaint and they are pursuing charges.  (Yes, I did my research about this response to make sure it was real.)  I had spoken to this same person about 1 1/2 years ago when I made my first complaint.  He was asking for all the information I had about FCTW and all the corresondence I had with them (emails, phone call, etc) So I mailed them all the info I had.  I hope he is really going after these people.  Write down and keep all the info you have on these people.   This looks like it has slowed down since it first happened to me, so hopefully they will get caught and put in jail for threats and illegal practices.  Good luck!

Wow It is hard to believe that they are at it again. The phone calls started a year ago for me, and when they got nothing out of me, they stopped calling. Until yesterday. Then they got nasty and threatened to send someone to my house to "settle things". I have filed a police report, contacted both the attorney general in my state as well as FL, which is where their base of operations is. Also, be aware they are using different company names now. FCTW is one, as well as United Kingdom Consumer Assistance Bureau. I have also filed a grievance with the FTC. Please keep these threads going so that no one else is taken in by these lowlife scumbags.

Recieved a call from them today
I have been harassed and victimized by this company and will be happy to help expose them and prevent others from being victimized. Its the right thing to do! I found a lot of useful information on  websites about who to make complains to. Thanks for putting this helpful information in a public forum.

Letter I wrote to my lawyer today.

There is a company who is trying to extort money from me with threat of ruining my credit.. Years ago when I played wheelchair Basketball I used my credit card to book a hotel room in Las Vegas Nevada when our team went there for a wheelchair basketball tournament. They stated my basketball coach signed us up for some kind of time share presentation and she gave them inaccurate contact info for herself, when they could not locate her they came to me. They said I could sue her, but I was still obligated to them no matter what she had done. I did not give them contact information for her. They stated then that if I did not give them a new credit card number and pay money that they would come after me and sue me and ruin my credit. I gave them a new credit card number, paid and went to a presentation in Anaheim California taking a friend with me as a witness. We were supposedly finished with this company and 3 months ago my new credit card was hit with a bill from this company for 1 penny so my credit card company closed the account and reissued me another as they believed it to be phishing or fraudulent charge as it was a fraudulent charge.

First Class Travel Wise just called me on the phone today with the same threats as they did years ago and would not say why or give me any information other than they were going to ruin my credit if I did not pay. I suggested that they check with Dr Christopher Green of the company before taking any action against me, then he told me it was the owner who was suing me? then I let my friend who is witness speak to him. She told him that she too had spoken to the owner/director Dr. Christopher Green and had gone with me to the presentation and that I had fulfilled all/any obligations to this company. He hung up on her but not after reiterating the threat.

My Friend helped me deal with them last time and we kept records. She even arranged and went to the presentation where we played by and followed all their rules and instructions. They said we would never here from them again and we had fulfilled any obligation I had to this company. Today's harassing phone call came as a big shock to us both.  This extortion method seems like it may be very lucrative for this company, they certainly were successful in getting money from me once but I don't believe I should allow it to continue.

What can we do about this company? or whatever they change thier name to in the future.

Its been a few years and I can still hear that A$$  telling me I can not hang up the phone or he will turn me over to collections and much worse.  I reported to the BBB and called the police in FL. CA and Nevada.  They claimed nothing could be done.  I am so glad to see that they are getting what is coming to them.

I got a call tonight (10/5/10) from a person calling himself a consumer advocate for First Class Travel Wise. He said his name was Jim and wouldn't give a last name until pressed for it a number of times. Finally he said Jim Morrison. He said I owed $299. In 2006 I agree to a phone salesman for Bluegreen Resorts and the literature I received was for First Class/Cruise Vacations back but we never took any trips of tours. In 2008 I got a call that because they had reservations for travel and had not used them I owed them another $400+. I needed to pay it immediately or it would go into collections. Over the phone I was told this covered my obligations and if I did take a trip and tour I could get some of my money back. I assumed we were square with them now and good riddance. We still never took any trips or tours. Going back to the start of this my wife answer the phone call tonight and took a message but they tried to get us to send cash to a Piggly-Wiggly dropoff place(?) or send it by Western Union or else they would turn it over to collections. I did have all the correspondence from 2006 & 2008 and was looking this over when Jim called back. I told him I had paid it in full and he claimed I still owed them. I refused to give them any more info and said "Good luck in court". He them put on Michael Partin(?), who identified himself as an attorney and would be sending this through to pursue suing me and I told him go ahead -- good bye and hung up. At this point, I rather a judge ruled then to get swiddled again. By the way the second call was from a cell phone 386-623-9885 (FL).

We got scammed too!! I am so pissed right now reading all of these comments and knowing that this happened to other people too. Mine was the 433.88 as well. And it was a guy named Shawn Cole. The phone number was 1-877-948-8900. And we paid it! They were very persistent and rude, but also convincing.. And they also scared me into thinking that we would get our credit ruined and get more charges if we didn't pay. I am so mad and sick to my stomach about it all. It was a couple years ago, and I just barely found the paper that I had info written on.. I googled the company name today, and I just found out now that it was a scam. Now I feel like it was so long ago that there is nothing I can do. Has anyone had any success in getting their money back or anything?? I would love to help take these people down too!

Hi,

Just to let you know, I fought with them tooth and nail and through my credit card I was able to get a full refund for the fraudulent transaction.

I just got a call today from someone claiming to be Mike Green, I told him, to go F**K off and that I'd kill them in a court of law, to which he answered "I'm gonna teach you lesson" I laughed in his face and hung up.

I filed with the BBB and suggest anyone who get's called by them soliciting their "Package" vacation, to reverse the charges on their credit card...

I had the same situation as everyone else here.  Won't go into too much detail since it's the same as everyone else's.

They threatened to ruin my credit if I didn't pay immediately.  I didn't pay.

I looked up reviews online while on the 45 minute phone fight and found all these negative reviews - didn't pay.  The one thing I couldn't find was any answers about the credit hit.

Do not pay.  There is no credit threat.  I didn't pay, it's been 6 months, they tried again, I denied.  My credit is still every bit as good as it always was.

I found a fun way to deal with these a-holes...

They will call incessantly.  Don't ignore, don't get angry.  Answer the phone and mess with them.

My tactics

- answer with some sort of made up accent and talk nonsensically until they give up and hang up.
- answer shouting like a hard-of-hearing old man and talk nosensically until they hang up.
- answer with "Hello, First Class Travel Wise".  Talk confusingly until they give up and hang up.
- answer by saying "Hey, my favorite scam artists!  How ya doin' today?"
- etc, etc, etc.  You get the idea.

Finally, I answered normally and started questioning they're tactics, etc.  They got really pissed off.  They haven't called since.

Bottom line, don't pay.  You're credit will be fine and you'll save some hard earned cash.  The guys are absolute scumbags.

Lastly, I was told that they'd sue me if I posted negative things about them on any of these sites.  Sue me, pricks!

caller rude and threatening, demanding that my wife tell me I had better answer the phone at 7pm.Vacation at Hawthorn Suites Las Vegas (Duke Ellington Blvd., now Desert Rose). Vacation was 5 years ago!

They said, "you know your credit is not very good anyway."  2nd call was from a Brandon Kemp, and then someone from the legal department.  Said they have doc they tried to contact - this was first phone call. I told them I was not giving them any information and told them to never call again.
Threatend that they would ruin my credit.

All these numbers are used by the same scam.  Note, the price you "have to pay" goes up over the years.  Don't give them any info, definitely don't give them your credit card number, hang up on them whenever you want.  They can't hurt your credit, or sue you, or anything else they threaten.

This Mr. Tomas from Leisure Time Worldwide, which is the same company First Class Travel Wise also known FCTW.  They say they will send your account to collections, but they can't.  They do not have proof to do any of these actions.  People need to be warned.  They have over 25,000 different names and numbers to call.  They have all your info like your address, credit card number, and name!!  But do not believe them; they are lying to you.  There is no Micheal Anderson; that is not the director's name; he lies to all of you.  He uses the names Michael Anderson, Michael Mann, and many more, but those are his main names.  The company is based out of Georgia but they really operate in Lake City, Florida.  We do use Georgia numbers 229-380-8974.  It's a Magic Jack phone plugged in to a computer that works off the internet; so it has there a Georgia number so they can say there in Georgia.  The 1-888-210-2221 toll free number is forwarded to a phone registered in Lake City, Fl and it sometimes is forwarded to a cell phone.  Used to be my cell phone but not any more.  For anybody I have spoken to in the past I do apologize.  But people -- do not accept the resolution they are offering.  I can not reveal much more information than this to protect myself from a lawsuit.  But do hang up on them.  If you did resolve, then do what you have to to fix your error in judgment.  I do again apologize; I no longer work for this company.

Hello

The same thing happened to my husband. $433 charged on credit card, we tried to dispute with credit card company but did not accept.  We then attempted to take another tour in Anaheim, CA to get our $400 back and the hotel did not accept First Class Travel tours. It has been extremelly stressful dealing with this and trying to get our money back. Please let me know if ANYONE HAS PURSUED THIS LEGALLY AND WHAT YOU HAVE DONE ABOUT THIS FRAUD CASE.  We don't want to be too much out of pocket but want to do something to get these scam artists out of business. thank you, Carolyn

I received the same calls from two different individuals of this 'company" today, claiming a unfulfilled 2003 Las Vegas tour commitment which I hardly can remember, and offering me a chance to take another trip to make up for it. I asked for the supporting document by mail but was refused.  I hang up.  Will call my state (Delaware) BBB for the next step.

Suz, here is our experience with these people:

Several years ago we were approached to book a trip to Myrtle Beach, by First Class Travel Wise. We had to take a time share tour during the vacation. We traveled to Myrtle Beach and took the tour, as promised.

A couple of years later, we were contacted by First Class Travel Wise, telling us that we did not fulfill all of the requirements of our vacation package, and therefore we owed them another $299.00. If we did not pay and/or book another vacation through them, they would turn us over to collections and our credit would be ruined. As our credit scores are spotless, we booked another vacation through them. The terms of ?this? trip was two tours ? one in Orlando and one in Daytona Beach. We took this trip in the summer of 2007. We attended both tours, as promised.

Yesterday, 6/30/2009, we got a call from First Class Travel Wise ? now using the name First Class Cruise Vacations. They advised us that this was the ?last? courtesy call they would make to us, to let us know that our account was in default because we did not fulfill the terms of our Florida vacation package. We were put in touch with a David Wells, who stated he was the legal director of the company. He was insulting and rude and again, threatened to turn us over to collections and ruin our credit if we did not pay $650 AND book  another  vacation.

The call lasted over an hour and we got nowhere. When we returned home, we dug out all of the information we had accumulated on this company, from all of our dealings with them. In the paperwork we found an E-mail from Chris Greene ? Director. In that e-mail he advised that once we completed both tours in Florida, we would not be obligated to travel with them any further, nor would we EVER owe a balance to First Class Travel Wise/First Class Cruise Vacations.

Therefore, we called Chris Greene. He was very cordial at first, seemingly wanting to help us with our problem. He told us the only thing he could do is charge us $550 instead of $650, but we would have to book another  vacation and go on ?three? tours this time. We asked why this pattern continues to occur with them and this is when Mr. Greene started getting impatient. We then asked for a copy of the terms and conditions of our vacation package. He e-mailed us a generic form letter that could?ve been typed by anyone and handed to anyone. Our names or signatures appeared nowhere on this document. We, again, asked for a copy of the terms and conditions that we ?signed & acknowledged?, so we could have proof of our alleged ?violation? of the same.  Mr. Greene said it was not his responsibility to provide us with a copy of paperwork that we don?t conveniently remember and obviously lost. He went on to tell us that if we did not abide by his offer he would file a police report against us and ruin our credit. He e-mailed us a form to complete and return to him, otherwise, he would proceed as outlined above. We received the e-mail. We then called our credit card company. By the time we called them,. Mr. Greene had already started the process of debiting our card $650.00 ? not the agreed upon $550.00, but even worse ? we hadn?t even signed and returned the authorization form!!!!

We have now filed a fraud report with our credit card company and have closed our credit card account in question. We found that this company has an ?F? rating by the Better Business Bureau and a slew of negative blogs on the internet, commenting on how this company has scammed money from a multitude of people.

This is an illegitimate company and cursed to the core. If they call you do not buy anything from them. They scammed and intimidated my mother and myself as a Minister of the Gospel. There will be no where fore them to run from the misfortune coming upon them even if the Government will not do anything with them. I hope that the Lord will raise someone to take them down, and break them down as the criminals they are and that they so richly deserve.

I got this same phone call and because of all the threats my husband and I actually fell for this. We stayed at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas.  We contacted our Credit card company Capital one and told them this was a fraudulant charge but because of the paper work First Class travel wise sent them they wouldn't take the charge off. We have disputed and went the rounds since December but to no avail.  I can't afford this charge and it really is a scary call.  I hope we can all band together and stop these people!

To Robert, GOOD LUCK getting your money back and you will if your credit card works with you.... No I do not have a personal vendetta against First Class, but I must admit I am pretty agressive towards a scam....
If you didnt find any proof, then you didn't do much research and you didn't read much on my site, maybe start with their very own BBB reports or the 100's of other people scammed by them... and I do know people that went on the tour and did make nice like the contract instructed and they are STILL fighting for a refund of their money.
I admit it is very hard to reach Scott Steward but when you do he will give you the REAL DEAL, he might share with you the legal actions that has been taken against First Class, but shoot Robert don't take my word for it, DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK!

Robert, I also paid and was all ready to go for the tour to get the $400 refund as well.  However, once I booked the tour, I kept having to insist on the address of the hotel.  They emailed it to me with a contract that I had to sign.  The contract was very fishy to me. NOw, I am not a lawyer, but it seemed like a strange contract because it specifically stated that if I should bad mouth first class travel in any way, that I would not get my refund.  Well, it would be easy for them to not issue me that refund by stating that I did bad mouth them.  I didn't trust them at all.  I did complain with the Florida Division of Consumer Services and got in contact with a Scott Stuart, via Flintwindsors website, and they referred me to Frank Roycraft who is in charge of this particular investigation.  He believes it is a scam, that they have no grounds, but since my credit card would not step up, he did say I should pay it to not get in trouble with my credit card company but that he would continue to look into it and handle this situation and hopefully help me out.  I gave him all the info. I had on this company and hope to see this resolved.  Bad news is, that because I initially paid for it and authorized the charge, he did say that could be proof for FCTW that I agreed I owed it.  It is a tough call.  Please let us know if you actually DO get your refund in the 30 days that they promised.

I spoke to this company the other night,ya know I?m concerned about First Class Travel Wise, most definitely. However, I have learned from my experience dealing with Carnival Cruise Lines who also has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau, (one of the largest cruise lines in the world). Anyways, what I?ve learned is you can?t believe everything you read online. Looking at all of the things FlintWindor says it looks like she has some deeper issues then those with First Class Travel Wise. Any mention of anything that doesn?t go her way as I read it is a  scam or something crazy. All I see is a lot of emotion and no evidence. It looks like it?s a personal vendetta against first class travel wise I?m trying to find hard evidence because at this point I know I did not take the time share tour but I don?t know if I am responsible. If anyone as eveidence please let me know. I do know that I didnt take the tour, but i didnt know that i would have to pay for it. I should have read the terms and conditions before i agreed to them. I already resolved it but now im having 2nd thoughts about it. They offered my a refund if I make up the tour. I already set it up for this weekend....wish me luck
