Some betting bookie company.  Not sure where they got my number from, but they have called several times and it gets irritating.

Just received a call from a guy at this number.  I told him i'd never gambled in my life and didn't know where he'd gotten my number from.  he explained to me that this wasn't a gamble, but instead a surefire win!!!  I asked where he'd gotten my name.  "it's just on the list".  "well where'd you get the list?"  "I don't know" "so this list just magically appears on your desk in the morning?"  "I don't know."  Then he hung up on me in a huff.  How do we figure out who owns this number?

Also, I got a call from 785-207-6317 and then 213-344-7193 a couple days prior to this, each of which was regarding the same general thing... sports betting - basketball specifically.

I don't give out my cell phone number to anyone I don't know personally. This is the third time in two days they've called me. How did they get my number?

You could try turning the ringers on your phones off when you go to bed. Also look into call blocking software from your phone company. It may already be available for use on your phone. Sometimes dialing *60 will activate it. Before using it make sure it is included in your services. For cell phones try assigning that caller a silent ring tone, so at least they won't disturb you, Also for a landline you can dial *57 after each call and if you can do this a few times a day the caller can then be prosecuted by police. But this can be very expensive. Finally, look into call blocking devices and programs that you can buy or download through the internet (digitone, phone tray free etc).  Also get a google voice number and start using that as your phone number whenever you need to give your number out to any organizations or people that you don't trust to have your real number.

I am a young mom of a 4 year old girl. I get calls from this number 5-10 times per day. The men use vulger language, laugh at me, and call me names. My husband get calls on his cell phone too. This morning they woke our family up from a dead sleep. I can't take the harrassment anymore. I even called my local police dept. I wish I had a phone number of a supervisor for these terrible men so I can put an end to this. Can anyone hlpe me? Who can I call to get this to stop? I can't take it anymore!!!!!

This guy called my parents house asking for me.  I haven't lived there in over 20 years. He refused to leave his name and told my mother that she was lying that I had left my old number.  I've never made a sports bet in my life.

This guy or company wants me to bet on football games... I live in a state where it is illegal to bet any sports book by phone.  This guy is trying to get me to break the state laws!  I hope he gets busted!

Called me did not leave message so I called back to see who it was and he said I had called a pay phone and promptly hung up.  I must have been wasting his time or something.
