Caller (female) did not answer when I first picked up phone. She said she represented an alarm company.  I hung up phone.!

Shows on the called ID as Unknown Name (typical).  It is a home security scam.  BLOCK

They rang but did not leave a message.  Caller Id just read "Out of the Area".  They are going on my annoying caller list.  Sick of this stuff.

Did you provide the Registry with a list of those that you wish to receive calls from and those that you don't wish to receive calls from?  As you probably already know,  the DNC list is a gigantic megacomputer that scans everyone's phones and when they all ring,  it instantly checks the caller against the Call me/Don't Call me list that you provided the Megacomputer with and then it Mechanically Blocks or allows the call to pass.  The FTC cannot afford the taxpayer money to go after every piss ant caller.  Take a minute of your time and go to the DNC Registry and read/learn how it functions,  what it does and does not do,  who'e exempt and who isn't.  There is some interesting reading at the FTC site,  for those who may be interested,   about some major crime arrest made because of the DNC and efforts of the FTC because of the people who have taken the time to report the calls.  Calls,  complaints, and reports must accumulate and add up before the FTC can pursue and prosecute a case.   They can't go after callers on an individual basis.  They must build a case.  On the other hand,  One can go to the DNC site,  use the Toll free number,  and OPT out,  which would be a viable choice for some.

They new my name and said it was so and so your local security company, could not really understand had to ask twice. I am on the blocked call list?

Telemarketer for home alarm systems. Called twice in back to back. Shows on my caller ID. If they had an alarm system for eliminating annoying telemarketers I would probably buy it ! ! !

Out with a Female friend having a Nice Dinner at an upscale Restuarant and I was stupid enought to take this call because I thought it might be related to work... TOTALLY Ruined the mood of the moment.. Looking in her eyes and ''Rinnnnng'.. I wish I would meet these cockroaches in an alley...

The caller was a girl.  She asked for my wife by her first name.  When I asked who was calling, she ID'ed herself as Grace.  I asked what the call was about, and she said it was a courtesy call.  When I asked what exactly is the courtesy call for, she identified her company as FDS.  I am not sure what they are selling, but I asked to take a message.  Apparently, Grace doesn't like red-tape and/or working through a middle-man ... she said she call back and hung up.

Didn't answer.

This is yet amother number used by Asset Acceptance, a scumbag debt collector who leaves messages looking for Roger Morah - likely a fake name. Their message: "If you are Not Roger Morah, hang up now. If you are, call . . . " and they leave a name and number. They've been harrasing this number for 3 years asking for the same person every time.

Got a call from this number this afternoon, with no name or message left.  Sounds pretty suspicious.

Female voice id'ed self as Grace. Poor english. Started to question if was home owner. Told don't ans questions and to take name of calling list. Then saved number on phone as "JUNK" not don't have to answer. Now whenever a number comes up not recognized just add it as "JUNK". Some attorney should be able to file a harrassement class action lawsuit against all these companies and get us some money for being harrassed. Better yet the money could pay off the national debt.

Got the same call from said First Defense Security.  They don't know that my husband owns a company putting in security systems, asked to be removed.

JUST A NOTE- Anyone receiving repeat calls after asking to be removed from their calling lists can contact their state attorney general and put in a report for aggressive selling tactics!  It's worth it!  I've done it plenty of times, and have never had those companies call me back!  Do it and save yourself some sanity!

These callers are "First Defense Security", and they are harassing people all over the country.  Their office number is 702-547-0213, and their offices are at 1485 W Warm Springs Rd, Ste 107, Henderson, NV 89014
These are just a tiny portion of the harassment that American citizens are being inundated with on a daily basis.  Somebody needs to vist their office, maybe at night so nobody gets hurt.  I have has my fill of these scams.  I'm done

Scammers trying to info for identity fraud use. It's ok... I have a ton of friends that are way better at digging for intel than they are. Soon as a solid lead comes in its go time.

they just called me and left me a message saying my name thats it. never left a called back number or anything why

Got a call from this # 441-0585, She wanted to talk to the home owner. She knew my last name. She wanted to know if I had an alarm system for at least 3 years. She then quickly transfered me to an "Agent". The agent then asked if I was "%&(**)*" (first name). to which I replied "No". The call was then abruptly ended on their end. The whole thing smelled awfully Phishy!!!
I called back the # a little later to check on it. It answered with a auto answer that asked to hold for the next available agent (poor quality like a homemade system). I was on hold for quite awhile, no answer. Neither the recording, nor person asking questions Identified themselves at all.

Called, left no message. Do not know this number. Where is the DNC? Most of these people should be arrested for fraud.

numerous calls..all hang up...will not answer a return call

Answered expecting someone else.  They asked for someone who doesn't live here and became rude when I told her she had a wrong number.  Then proceeded to ask for the homeowner.  Told her they're not available.  She became REALLY rude and snapped "Well then, I'll just have to keep calling until they are!" and hung up. Won't be taking her calls anymore.  :)

They are pushing Home Security.  I told them I already had an alarm and the girl got all excited and wanted me to talk to another person to give all the info on it. They must think I am stupid. I got the idea they probably wanted the info so they would know how to bypass it when they robbed my home.  I also hate it when they knock on my door with a similar scam about getting a free alarm installed.

Been getting this call for week now. When I knowa telemarketer I get my bike horn and let them have it on the phone. This has work a number of times.!!! lol

I have received several hang up calls from this number. The name usually appears as V1201247090014. The DNC law is a joke.

Calls a lot. Never speaks or leaves a message on answer machine.
