I complained to everyone including the Nevada Attorney General yesterday and received a long reply this morning. There so far is nothing anyone can do, they use VoIP to place the calls and keep changing numbers. The phone companies cannot block them. They do NOT offer a SERVICE. It is a spoof to get live people to answer for their collection of live phone numbers. If you sign up for the service they will not show up, Unless the authorities can get a physical location on them there is nothing they can do. So sad we the consumer have to deal with these criminals. I am tired of complaining so just will unplug my phone during the day or not answer.

I've been receiving calls from the "Nevada Green Energy Study Group" for well over a month now, virtually every day. One of the possible selections on the recording for being removed from their list is # 5 on the phone. I tried that and the calls just keep on coming. Twice, I have selected # 1 to speak with a representative but regardless of how polite I am the moment I mention wanting to be removed from their list they immediately hang up. I don't have caller I.D. but I'm certain it's the same number everyone here is complaining about. At this point, I don't know what to do.

I live in Nevada. This company with their recorded message has been calling me 2 times per day for the past 12 months or so. Really getting annoying.

Update to earlier post:  I just visited the government website.  The no call list has been in effect for about 15 years.  Following is copied from the government site...

Only 102 enforcement actions since they've started?  Repeat... what a waste of tax payer money!

I've made scores of complaints on this company to the No Call List group.  Read THEIR website and the number of complaints they've settled.  A complete waste of tax payer money!!!

many calls from this source. last one on 702-538-1641 w/ id "cell phone".  The automated msg said press 5 to be removed. Have done that twice, and also reached a real person whom i told to take this number off their list.  She was very rude. Have received at least a dozen calls w/ the same recorded msg.

I get a call from them at least every other day. I tried pressing  1 to speak to someone, but as soon as I ask them to stop calling, they hang up.
Now I'm trying a different approach- I press 1,and when the person answers, I act like I'm VERY interested in what they have to offer, and I gave them a fake name and address.

These people have been calling me for months now.    I have tried the option that supposedly will delete me from their system.   No difference.    I have tried responding with "1" which is supposed to hook me up for an appointment,  it is just music on hold forever.   This has to STOP.   Called Century Link,  anything they can do involves me BUYING AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE FROM THEM!  Ridiculous.

I get a call from 702-682-6479 everyday.  There is no response.

10 calls received so far, always the same recording - now the are using a different phone number 702-682-6479

I have received calls from this number for several days. No one will speak when I pick up the phone.

I have received several calls  at different times from 702-460-9854 (wireless phone number) and I am realy tired of these calls. It is a pre-taped message promoting some saving in the energy bill, but frankly it is annoying. After this complaint I will get in contact with NV Energy or any agency until it stops.

to those above UNLESS you know exactly who you are talking to NEVER give out information over the phone and never repond to an unsolicited sales plea.  Lay the phone down and just walk away.

This is a cellphone carried by att on the web cingular in N. Lv. Probably a burn phone. When I tried to register a complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov, the complaint wouldn't go through because the phone number is too new. This says to me that they rotate the numbers so that they can't be caught.
Seems a setup for burglary to me. One call comes in, followed in a few minutes by a second call. My husband actually was talking to them while I googled the number and found this website. I kept telling him it was a scam and that he should hang up, but it took a lot of time for me to get him to listen. Sigh! I don't think he gave them any info they couldn't get out of the phone book. Hope so.

This company scheduled an appt didnt cancel and took my information and when they called back today they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about and hung up after trying to get my personal information again.  I took off work to be here for them.  The number has no mailbox set up and I lost my pay for this, plus they have my gate code, they know I am a single woman living alone in a house that I own, I feel like I am being set up for a crime.

Yep, they're cleaning out America ... one sucker at a time LOL!

After this number kept calling and hanging up for weeks finally some from "citizens for a cleaner america" spoke to me and told me they would set up a free home evaluation and they took all my private and personal information they even inquired about my credit history, got my address and gate code I took off work for their appt and they never showed.  Then today they called again trying to do the same thing when I told them I already scheduled and they no showed and I asked them what their name was they hung up.

have received more than 10 phone calls.  contacted attorney general's office in Nevada.  NEED a NAME. Please reply here if you get a name as to who is calling.  It is from a cell phone, not landline.    Has anybody gotten a phone call from a 619 exchange?  I keep getting it on my cell phone.

They keep calling us also. When you call back the voice mail is not set up. When you answer they don't say anything. very annoying.....
