Got the same text as others on Nov 28, 2012.  Do know a guy named mike who is really horrible to me.  seeing the text says it's from mike made me think it can't be worthy.  the site doesn't open, but who cares...lameness

I get messages from three different people. One I'd like to know, another who's call came in February 2011, and the third being this dummy with brains from the first and a stolen voice changer.

I got a text that said hey look at this cool porn site I didn't click on it

Received a text message stating "Jennifer said to send this to you" http://is.gd/t8PMvT.  I asked who are you and who is Jennifer...no response.

You wont get spammed/scammed unless you actually type in information on the phishing site. Simply VISITING the URL doesn't do anything. Its just a phishing scam. there's no malware on the site.

Text said 'Jen told me to send this to you" it was a link for plane tickets. At first I thought it was my friends fiance. Definitely wasn't though.

I almost responded but looked the number up and got here. Im sure it is a gift card and probably Costco so thanks to the person who looked it up. I get them all the time from someone saying I won a Target gift card sometimes at 3:00 am I am on a DNC list.

So I decided to call this f*** face back...after the bogus text "Michelle said to send this to you" really, Michelle would have sent it to me herself!  Of course the mailbox was full...I'm on a DNC list and truly don't appreciate a text message at 1035PM!  Will be reporting the number to the FTC - hope y'all do the same...

Same link, from Dave. I looked it up on a pc.  It said I was to get a 500$ Costco gift card.  Left the page.  Can we arrest this JO?

Today I got a text that said "Jen said to send this to you http://bit.ly/UFQO1R" from the number 323-480-7689. I did not open it as well. I assumed it was spam.

Got a text that said "Mary wanted me to forward this to you"  the link is http//bit.ly/Ud4vke.  Didn't open it.  Presumed it was spam.

I just got the same text as reported by folks above referencing "Mike" in the text message with a link. I'm glad I didn't click the link. guess the spammer figures everyone knows someone named Mike.

Made the mistake and went to the link because the message led me to believe it was from a friend of my brother whose name is Michael.  Did this Saturday afternoon, this morning I was swamped with spam.

I have always been leery of stuff like that, but they got me!

Thought it was a friend from Navada- Clicked the link- then X'd right out of it. What do I do?
