See a lawyer and go to court to get power of attorney based on mental competence.  It's a tough thing to do, but if you don't, she'll be taken to the cleaners.  Get law enforcement involved.

This phone number 702-516-7361 scammed my mother out of thousands of dollars saying she had won 5.5 million dollars but she needed to pay the taxes.  One of the names used during the scam was "Mr. Tyler".  Then when she almost got arrested for trying to cash fake money orders and send the money back, then a DAVID HART starting calling her.  He was originally involved with this Mr. Tyler guy and the scam but they changed their M.O. to that David Hart was now some type of authority figure (law enforcement) and has been calling my mom come to find out for probably over 9 months.  My mother thinks she is totally in love with the David Hart and is going to run off and marry him and SHE HAS NEVER MET HIM OR SEE HIM and believes EVERYTHING he tells her over the phone.  I am afraid My Mother is going to end up losing everything she has or even worse, dead.  I and some of her other children have tried to help her understand that this is still part of the scam but she won't listen to us and says if we ruin this for her she will never forgive us.  Has anyone else had dealing with the alias "David Hart".  I wish I could find others that have been scammed by that name and print it out so she can see it.  It might not help but it certainly couldn't hurt.

Prank Call
Same as above, only the first time he called I just hung up on him, and he called back and asked why I hung up, I told him I knew it was a scam and anything he had to say was just B...Sh.. and I wasn't interested.  He then told me he was calling on behalf of Publishers Clearing House, that there was an account for me at a Chase bank, gave me a phone number, account number and pin number.  So what the heck, I called this bank number (Ha!) followed the prompts, entering in the account number, and pin number and low and behold I am the lucky winner of 7,500,000.00 (not).  Of course there is not an answer at the other phone numbers he gave me, and the automated system (ha ha) that answers the phone sounds like a person who is suffering from throat cancer or something.  Needless to say when I called the Chase number I got off line, the customer service person told me in no uncertain terms they do not set up accounts like that for anybody.

Just a total waste of time and energy.  They did this to me year before last, on my birthday no less.  It was a scam then and is now. Don't get sucked in, all they want is your money and you will never get any prize winnings from them.  Consumer protection website reads:  A lottery, you purchase a chance to win
A sweepstakes there is no cost to enter and it should never cost a penny to collect your prize.

I received a call from a man saying he was from the US Sweepstakes and Fulfillment Co and I'd won $4.5 mmillion and a new Mercedes. He wanted me to purchase a Greenpack Money Card for $300 to cover the "State to State" taxes. After Googling some of this information a ton of Scam reports popped up. Do not fall for this. The are to believed to be from Jamaica and have been running this legitimate sounding scam for quite some time. As I was told, a true sweepstakes winner has to pay nothing to recieve their winnings...but will no doubt owe uncle Sam and large chunk.

I just received a call from this number. They told me I won the mega millions. I have been selected from purchasing item by using my credit card online. Then they gave me a claim number and said that I have won 145,000.00 and how did I felt. I told her that I don't believe it.
She then told me the prize was coming from Las Vegas. The only thing I had to do was to submitt a payment of $842.00 for mailing and insurance fee. They even told me I can arrange a payment plan. I then told her to take the fees out of the money I won and send me a check.
I really did not believe I won. Then she said that if I didn't pay the prize would be giving to someone else. I then told her I cannot give you what I don't have. I don't have any money. The representative hung up the phone.

This company is a scam.  The caller said I had won $1.2M through a lottery sweepstakes done for shoppers from Walmart and Sears.  Ha ha, I have not purchased anything in these stores in over 30 years.   The caller pretended to be Mr. Rob Clarke.  Do not be fooled by these people.
