Sfreez 2011-06-06 20:54:24 Unknown
Received a call from 1-702-520-1154 at 3:01 PM EST on 11-20-07. Caller ID showed "THIS IS A SCAM". I answered just to see what it was about. Recorded message said something about my account being past due with Regions Bank and to visit an online site to update my account information. I can't remember the online site and wouldn't visit it even if I could remember it. I've never dealt with Regions Bank. Knoxville, TN.

I too received a call from the same number. My caller ID said "This is a scam". It mentioned that my Regions Bank account had problems and directed me to some website...of course I did not go there!!!! What a bunch of idiots these people must be!
LiLi 2011-06-06 20:54:24 Unknown
Got this one today....they claimed (in the vm) to be Regions Bank and that my online banking services had been suspended....well now ain't that dandy!?!?! 'cause I DON'T HAVE an account of any type with Regions Bank! LOL!
jbyrdp 2011-06-06 20:54:24 Unknown
I too received a message on my answering machine concerning Regions bank and my account. Directed me to regionscare.net. I can't believe someone would think about doing this when the caller ID says "This is a scam". What kinds of idiots do they think we are?
S. Steele 2011-06-06 20:54:24 Unknown
No one said anything, just hung up.
Tracey 2011-06-06 20:54:24 Unknown
The only reason that the caller Id says "This is a scam" is because Regions learned of the scam and was working with authorities and the phone company. The phone company actually changed the ID to read as such to alert potential victims of the fraud.

I got a call from this number and the callerID read "Nevada call" and said something about that my MidAmerica bank account has expired and that I need to go to a website....I didn't pay much attention because I don't have any account with that bank. I can't understand how they can continue using this number without being caught... Anyway, I'll be reporting this TN to MidAmerica bank.

Have been called by these people about six times now. All left messages saying my Mid America Bank account needed updating. One showed "this is a scam" on the I.D. with the number 1-702-520-1154 and all the others said "out of area" with the number 1-708-453-4111. Is there any agency we can call to report this. I am also on the gov. do not call list. Someone is paying the bill for that number there has to be a way to track it.
Jay 2011-06-06 20:54:24 Unknown
Just received this call. Callerid read "Illinois Call"
Mikaela 2011-06-06 20:54:24 Unknown
i know them!!
phydroxide 2011-06-06 20:54:24 Unknown
You'll notice that 1-702-520-1100 and up has the same message
If you dial any of the 1000-1100 they all ring busy,
If you dial 1-702-520-0010 it is Nexa Telcom or Nexus, I can't really understand it. Certainly with such a huge block of phone numbers with them being busy on each side of the block, this must be someone associated to the company.
phydroxide 2011-06-06 20:54:24 Unknown
The whole block from 1-702-520-0000 - 1-702-520-1200 seems to be contiguous. 1-702-520-0010 results in a voicemail for Nexa Telcom.

Did not answer. Never answer a number I don't recognize or company name I am not familiar with. Have been identity victim already. Not ready for second round.

We received a message on our machine from this number (702-520-1154) claiming that our bank information (they named the bank) was out of date and we needed to go online to a specific website to update it. It concerned us, so we checked out the number. It's not legitimate.

My caller ID also said this is a scam with the number.
The voice (computer)said my transfer options had expired and please contact them immediately at www.loginregions.com
