SCAM/harrassment.  A pre-recorded "Rachel" from Cardholder Services siad she could help me lower interest rates.  I got tired of getting the same harrassing calls, so I pressed 9 as instructed to speak to a representative.  A muffled female voice simply answered, "Card Services."  I said, "Please remove me from your call list, and she said, "No" and hung up.  I'm sure these calsl are going to continue.  Isn't there ANYTHING we can do to stop getting the calls?  I also get DOZENS of calls from a different number about the factory warranty on my car expiring soon (which is bogus).

they wanted to lower my interest rate on my credit cards
i hate to burst there bubble but i have never owned a credit card
and i am 46.

I think the the government needs to put a stop to these stupid called
that are spam and make not reason or rhyme.

i see they have to be a scam being car warenty  and credit card interest rates

there are others that have asked to have there mumber removed and they still get the calls

Why they have a random dialer that just dials number and it does not care who you are or what number you have it will dial you no matter if you aske them never to call you again

i though that if you asked a place never to call you again that you could hve them taken to court and sew them for harassing you

I guess the FCC can not stop them just like the government can not stop people coming over the border and taking all of our jobs
and then taking the money back to there country

I get called at least daily from 702-520-1190 and each time I tell them to remove me from list they literally hang up on me. And each time I call the number back and enter to be removed from call list and it never fails I keep getting called. No company name available...who are these people/harassers!? Any other company that hangs up on its consumers would be reported and they should be too! What can be done about this?

I received a call from 702-520-1190. They did not leave a message or anything. I have also received messages from other numbers about an auto warranty expiring. Which is not applicable to me.

This is probably the 10th time i have been called by them. I usually just hang up and ignore it. I would like to point out that I am 18 and don't own a car. Also they keep calling my cell phone. It is obvious to me especially after reading these other complaints.

Received a call on my cell phone from this number.  Said that it was about my credit card.  There was nothing wrong with my account but wanted to talk to me about lowering my interest rate.  I immediately hung up.

If I receive additional calls, I will look into it further.

I am located in Arizona. I get this type of call randomly every few months. It starts as a pre-recorded message telling me my vehicle warranty is about to expire, which I know is totally bogus, I wasn't born yesterday. Today I got sick of it, so I pressed "1" to speak to a live person. I asked them what car it was for, they couldn't tell me. I asked where they got my number, they BS'ed  about how they got it from my car dealership, I asked who gave it to them, they couldn't tell me. I asked what kind of car do I drive, and what type of warranty do I have? They didn't tell me. So to summarize so far, for some reason, my car dealership (how'd they know I got it from a dealership?) gave them my phone number, but not my name, told them my warranty was about to expire, but not what type of car I drive? Please. I harrassed the first person for about ten minutes and got the name "Auto Solutions" out of him. Totally BOGUS as well. I spoke to his "floor supervisor". I laid down the wrath twice as hard on her, and suddenly towards the end of my rant she asssured me they must've gotten the wrong number and information and my number will be taken off their list, and before I was finished yelling she got pretty snappy and was speaking over me and hung up.

If it's any consolation to the others who have been harrassed by this scam, I laid it on them pretty good for a solid fifteen minutes today. I just got done filing an official FCC complaint for this number as well. So at the very least, I ruined the day of those gutless scam artists.

I've just filed an 1088 with the FCC. I was very nice to the lady who called me and after I asked who they were she told me they were Debt Solutions located in Phoenix. Of course there is no way for me to verify that.

Filed my FCC complaint. It should be noted, however, that unsolicited marketing calls to businesses is not covered by the Do Not Call registry. Unsolicited marketing calls made to businesses are in fact legal. However, if they refused to provide information about themselves, then an FCC complaint is appropriate. They refused to tell me who they were, so I filed my complaint promptly and blocked that number from my SkypeIn account.

This people have been calling me often twice a day for the last 2 weeks. Asking them to remove my number from their database doesn't seem to work. Calling them back and pressing 1 to remove my number doesn't seem to work. I've talked to them and they claim to be "Debt Solutions", located in Phoenix.

Received 5 calls from this number today.  Most were hang-ups.  My boss answered one and said the caller was difficult to understand.  It sounded like a free subscription to an industry publication.

Probably not.

They've been calling me for weeks.  I finally pressed to talk to an operator.  I told her to remove me from the list and she said "we can do that for you."

Of course, I had already pressed the # to remove my name from the list on the menu the last time they called.

Recored message saying I have excessive credit card debt, etc... and that they can help me!  Press #1.  (I have zero credit card debt!)  I press one to get the pitch... She claims it's an "Automated" services.  I inform them I have been registred on the do not call list for over a year, and I do not have any debt.  They get spicy on the phone and hang up...

These idiots call my business phone twice today within a 30 min. period.
No one on the line, no message just a hang up. They have called before
too. Do these people get paid by how many people they annoy in a day.
There is no incentive to stop these kinds of calls because Ma Bell makes
too much money off of them.

These scammers have been calling me multiple times daily for weeks, on my business and cell phone. Ask for their information (which they are required to give, by law) and they refuse and hang up on you. It is not possible to get anywhere with them.

They will not remove your number from their calling list, and being on the National Do Not Call list doesn't help - they appear to ignore that, too.

They call from multiple numbers, and calling the number back is useless - they are breaking laws and harassing people relentlessly.

If you get calls from them, *please* report them to the FCC at http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints_tcpa.html and your attorney general or anyone else who will listen.

Here is a thorough article on some other things to try as well:

Ive been getting this call multiple times per week, on my cell, generally as a message.  From various nos in various states.

I once stayed on line long enought to tell them to stop, and they hung up.

Clearly a matter for attorney general's attention.

Are these one person, or are they hapless franchisees of somebody else's get rich quick scam?

I suspect it is impossible to get off the list because some sleazeball is selling the same list to multiple suckers.

This one message has been responsible for more minutes on my cell in the past year than any other 2 callers combined.
