Think it could be terrorists? I am on the don't call list and they call anyway. so Who ever they are, they are gona prove if the NDCL (the Don't call list) works legally.

Not telemarketing folks, I told you I talked to him myself, twice. He's a jerk. Ignore him and call your police. Last message, please listen.

I called my police department as Clark Co. Nevada police Dept said to do, my police department called and left our Phil as he calls himself a message, he is being tracked, my FBI friend as I mentioned earlier is aware also, both of there advice was to notify your police departments...the elustrius Phil will be making one of his last calls soon!!! Call your police department and report it, harrassment is harrassment, jail is jail, the longer the better.
7-16-08. They also said track all calls, times, etc. do not encourage him or talk to him, just report it to the police from your phone service area. He is using a landline phone.

this has happened before Who is this? My friend was saying that it is a computer generated call just to see when u are home so the telemarket people can call u back to sell u somthing? Who knows but its irritating anyway

this was on 7-14-2008. This deffinately is not telemarketers, this guy is having fun annoying people, to bad it's not working, just thought I'd help out my FBI pal and look him up.

I got a call from this number 8:05am, I called back and a Phil answered at 9:30am, I told him I was returning his call, he played stupid, He said he was baffled as to who called me, I tried to persue him as to who he was and what company he might be from, no clarification, mumbled a comment and hung up. I repeatedly called him and he wouldn't answer. Late afternoon someone picked up at this number and he talked with an accent, I again tried to figure who this was and what company he was with, he cutsie like said nun-ya business, I stupidly thought I musunderstood and he said nun-ya business, then in his regular voice said YOU'VE BEEN CALLING HERE ALL DAY GIVE IT UP, and hung up. What an a**! I'm going to have my FBI pal look into it, he likes jerks like this. Watch out Phil if that's your real name.

at first they call my office and then they call my cell phone...it seems like they got the numbers from somebody that knew both of these phone numbers for me...

called our office, when I answered got recorded female voice "My mistake, sorry about that" and disconnected.  Caller ID showed "Private Office"

Same deal here, in Central PA, the woman says "I'm sorry, my mistake" then hangs up. The FAX theory makes sense to me.

cid shows nevada call, picked up and got same recorded message, i am in sw fl

This is probably an automatic dialer that's scouting for fax machines so they can deliver spam faxes (travel & medical insurance scams, etc). If there is no answer or a person answers they move on to the next number.

Recieved same call and same recording on my cell phone.
If it matters ....in N.E. Florida.

I just got a call from this number and heard a woman's recorded voice saying, "I'm sorry, my mistake" and then nothing.

Im sorry my mistake that is un-nerving who are these people and what business do they have randomly calling and disturbing our dinner? please let me know if anyone finds out who they are.

I got the same recording... several times now, so I called it back and got this message:
"Thank you for calling, your call is important to us, all car(?) executives are currently unavailable please leave your and phone number and we will get back with you as soon as possible", no idea if they are actually saying car but thats what it sounds like to me most likely account.
The return call goes directly to a voicemail.

Got the number and caller ID as mentioned.  Lady's voice "I'm sorry, my mistake".  I work for a gov't agency...I'll get to the bottom of this one.

Got the same call about 8:00 this a.m. I would love to find out how to get their number onto one of these list like they sell so solicitors would bug the stew out of them(give them some of their own medicen!).

They are using a computer to validate phone numbers.  If a fax or computer picks up, it tosses away the number.  If a person picks it up, it logs your number, and then they resell the number as known-good.  The computer dials every number in seqencial order.  They do not care about DNC lists.  Actually, no one does...

i got a call this morning at 8:02 am on 7/8/08 the computer said sorry i dialed the wrong number and then hung up its a scam I can feel it probably to see if number is good so it can be sold a@@holes

got acall on July 7 at 8:02 AM it appears call was computer generated, as soonasI said hell-o animated voice said sorry  I dialed wrong. Do not know what the scam or games is however there is more than just calling.

Called the number, asked who they are, they asked why, I said you called me last night, they got animated and defensive, asking me in elevated tones if I ever called a wrong number, that was their single repeated defense until they hung up. Called again, got someone with a Indian (dots) type accent. Stalled, seeming to look something up and hung up on me.

very rude, very annoying..
