This is a scam! I do not have any credit cards. They told my six year old granddaughter they were calling to collect money on a outstanding credit card. Why can't these idiots get caught? This is a felony action when they have stold your phone number and trying to steal your id to get your money. I know this for a fact! I work for the F.B.I.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~FRAUD FRAUD ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a new phone number for a debt collection co. They use several numbers local and out of state. The person that called was Nancy and called my employer and was extremely rude and again had my last name wrong. They have called before I have called them back and was very rude to the employer and tried to get me to verify information they supposedly had. I would not verify anything. I told them if its a valid debt to send me something in writing nothing has been sent. They obviously have an address of some sort yet can't verify anything, I have filed a formal complaint against this company and they are still trying to contact me for a debt that doesn't belong to me. The number they called from today was 757-271-1043 nothing came up for a name just a number. Beware this company is a fraud company. Do not give out any of your information. Do not verify anything if it?s a real debt they will have all the information and this company has none. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD...
The exact same thing happened to me. I consider that their calls now fall in the category of harassment.
After receiving multiple calls over a two week period, I pressed 1 to speak with an agent when they called at 4:56pm. After aggressively insisting that he (Adam) could lower my credit card debt, I finally got a word in to tell him that I have no credit cards or debts. He snottily informed me that most families in my area had a debt of $15,000.00 or more. It having been inferred that I was a liar, I asked that my number be removed. Half an hour later, I received a call from the same number. Once again, I requested that my number be removed. You guessed it, they called again the next morning at 8:41. Again, they assured me that my number would be removed.
This is the first time I've had this problem with a telemarketer. Usually, they courteously remove my number. These people (Info Services, debt related matters) are real jerks, in my opinion.
These people keep calling me. When I asked politely to be taken off their list, a man asked me if I didn't want to save money on my bills. I don't even have a credit card. When I said no, he said in this economy he didn't believe me. What a jerk, jerk, jerk, a**.... He shouldn't judge others by his own situation. When I called back, I can't get a live person. No justice, they can harrass you, but you can't harrass them.
same thing, they just keep calling, no matter what I do. and your right 2 does nothing, 1 they answer you say i wanna be off the list, and they hang up on you. apparently they follow the "If I didn't hear them say it it didn't happen rule" lol
Called me, left no message.
On return call, no company name was given, but mention was made of "Special Promotions". I was offered the opportunity to opt out by pressing "1". I did, and I received a recorded announcement saying "Thank you", then hang up.
I reported them to the FCC and FTC. www.ftc.gov and www.fcc.gov. They said they wanted to lower the interest rate on my credit cards. I asked "Josh" for the name of the company and he hung up on me.
Only answered because the ID was similar to recruiting agency name I was expecting call from. First when I picked up the phone is ringing like I made a call. Then a guy comes on saying he can reduce my card interest to 0%. Told him by calling a do not call list number with an unsolicited call I would have to black list his company and could not ever do business with them. Though he never did say the name of the company. He did try and convince me his market department assured him he was legally allowed to call me. I am assuming anyone that calls me asking about my finances is a scam. Any reputable company should know better than that.
I have tried the same thing -- Press 2 and it doesn't go anywhere, Press 1 and they hang up. And they just keep calling. I just registered my number on the National do-not call-list. I don't think they will have any reguard or respect for them either.
I got a call from ths idiot,saying I need to take care of my credit card. What a scam! I have no credit cards.
| Chris 2009-03-16 19:15:43 Unknown |
It's an automated call saying press 1 to talk to someone about consolidating and reducing credit card debt or press 2 to be removed from the call list. Even though I press 2 they continue to call. This has been going on for months so I pressed 1 and when I told the representative that I have not been removed from the call list she just hung up.
