Had the call come in saying my car's warranty was about to expire. He asked which Ford or Chevy car would I like to have the warranty renewd on. Well since I own only Toyotas I was getting suspicious immediately. Then he he changed his mind afer I told him I didn't own them and said they were renewing warrantees nation wide.  Then I said "But you asked about Ford or Chevy and I don't own a Ford or Chevy."  He hung up. Watch out for this scam.  Looks like it's a land line in Clark County, NV.

Got an automated call from this number at 12:00 PM EST and waited to talk to rep - when he came on I politely asked which vehicle of mine he has information about and the line went dead. I called the number back and got another recording that asked me if I wanted to have my number removed from their calling list - to press #1, which I did, and the voice said "thank you" and again went dead.

I am so use to calls like this I just let them record their spiel and get it over with. But, yes it was yet another warrenty expiration deal. You think they could at least be more creative. Seems to be lots of warranties on the loose out there. You have to press 1 or 2 and call back ALL the numbers regarding warranties. I't like crabgrass or dandie lions in the wind. You MUST get this all done in one day or the number you just extricated yourself from will only get your ID from anyone of the 50 odd scammers in the network.

I got this call on july 2nd. It was the same recording from another call from 702-399-5868 on july 11th. Are they linked?

they call me everyday 3x a day sometimes...and i have pressed 1 to have my # removed and they still call...UGH!!!

this is a scam.  i just got this cellphone msg.  i dont know how they got my fukcing cell #, but they asked for my car.  the area code is also from las vegas.  I dont know anyone from vegas and its obvious that this is a scam.  a lot of scam artists live in vegas.

They just called my cell, same message as supergeo.

Robo-call, car warranty scam - I've heard it often, but this is the first time it's hit my cell phone

Didn't answer and got part of a voicemail basically saying something about a warranty.

Got a call from them again. First, a recording saying the warranty on my car is about to expire. Press 1 for a rep, or 2 to be removed from future calls.
I pressed one. The human came on, asked me to hlp him out by telling him the make and model of my car. I said you called me, so what car are YOU calling ME about????
The guy sounded confused, and hung up.

HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!!!
