To a cellphone, "This is the second and last notice you will receive. Your Manufacturer's Vehicle warranty has or is about to expire, press 1 to talk to one of our representatives." Once they connect, they state the name of the company, something like National Vehicle Warranty Center, and immediately ask for the make, model and VIN. This is the exact moment I slam the phone in their ears. This is the 5th or 6th time I receive this 2nd and last notice.

Yeah, they called my cell phone too. I didn't answer because i didn't recognize the area code. I wonder how they got my number though.

Yup, I haven't answered the phone... but along with this number and 918-375-2671... same thing I am finding with people saying it is regarding vehicle warranty. I am just not going to answer the calls. Oh, and this 702 number... when I tried to call... it said it could not complete the out of the country call or something like that. So... becareful if you are calling it back... could lead to crazy charges!!!

I reported this to the FCC today. They confirmed they had other people complaining and will file a class action whatever. So keep complaining to the FCC: 877-382-4357

They keep calling me, yet I don't have awarranty about to expire.
On the news last night they said these are former mortgage brokers still trying to scam people.

I've been getting calls to my home phone, which is listed, but I don't have caller id on that phone. Then I started getting calls to my unlisted cellphone, which does have caller id.

This almost made me think someone had stolen my idenity because it made me think someone used my name to purchase a vehicle in my name. i pressed 1 to be connected to a "warranty specialist" and told them to remove my number from their list. I got a phone from this number on my cell phone. There was no talking so I hung up.

even though i DID the press #1 they continue to call regularly, i do not have a warranty and nothing i do seems to stop them, i am on all no call lists i can think of. no messages are ever personalized, just the generic.

www.donotcall.gov - if you are already registered then they also offer a complaint service. The company is National Auto Warranty. The web address is www.nationalutowarranty.com. I've received multiple calls from this company, the calls come in from several different numbers but they all begin with 702-520 (1418, 1436, etc). If you can, please register a complaint and maybe something will happen to stop this harrassment.

I also received a call from these guys.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

I've gotten calls from these people and I finally decided to talk to them and provide some false info to get info from them. They said that their company name is "National Auto Warranties." I tried to get them to send me info by mail, but when they heard that my car had a problem with the power steering, they said that I should call them back after I have it fixed. Aren't they supposed to cover such things since they're a "warranty" company?

I have At&T as my cell also. They called me this morning at 10:45. I'd hate to think with so many cell phone calls, the phone company got our numbers.

I have been getting a number of hang ups on my home phone - no caller ID but I can hear the voice mail click off - Well, now my cell phone has been ringing several times a day - I was not picking up because I did not recognize the number - I have caller ID on the cell - and guess what - 702-520-1436 - they are not leaving a message but I am SURE it is the car warranty scam.  I recently received a mysterious piece of mail from someplace in Nevada - soliciting me to renew my car warranty.  It is a scam.  Now I am trying to figure out what to do to get rid of them - my cell company is Cingular now AT&T - I will try calling their customer service to complain.

ive gotten called by this number twice, 1 from 918-468-2338 and another one from 702-520-1435 and 720-520-1367 and each time they call i miss the call but if its about car warrenty i dont even own a car so these guys really annoy me
