I get a call from these jack-a**es almost everyday. For someone whom I do not KNOW! I have told several people that have called that I do not know whomever they are trying to reach. However, they continue to call. So I reported them. Enough is enough!!!

Received a phone call from this number this morning and they left a freaky voicemail of themselves breathing deeply. No words, just breathing.

This company is actually  "GMC Credit Services".  They are in no way related to GE or GMC Captiol which are legit.  This company is a scam relying on using their name as deception to try and sound like a legitimate corporation when in fact they are not.   This is their website:

 This is a "zombie Debt" collection company.  They buy old debts that are no longer legally collectible.  That means that if you have had a past debt that was charged off or not paid 5, 6, 7 or even 10 years ago these guys will buy it for less than 1 penny the dollar.  They will then call you and make all kinds of threats and insinuate that you will have legal trouble if you don't pay. When in reality you really have no legal obligation to resolve the debt.  They usually are not even allowed to put it on your credit anymore because it is too old.  You can read dozens of complaints about their scams at:

They are located in Schamberg, IL.  They use a IP telephone system that lists caller ID information as being a "local" company to try and hide who is really calling.  Most people will answer a local number even if they don't recognize it.  This type of deceptive practice is common with companies that do not care about the law only about trying to scam you out of some money.  

Bottom line is you have rights.  When they call DO NOT confirm any information.  Not even your name.  Not your address, not your birthday, and definitely not your SS#.  Tell them that no matter what they are calling about you are not interested in speaking with them.  Tell them that under the FDCPA law you are instructing them they are not allowed to call your number ever again and tell them to remove you from their call list.  ( NOTE:  You don't have to identify yourself to do this no matter what they may tell you.  You only have to tell them to remove your number which they already know.  ALSO you are NOT ASKING!!!   This is important.  YOU ARE TELLING THEM, IT IS NOT A REQUEST IT IS A DEMAND!)  Further you can instruct them that under FDPCA and under Federal Do Not Call laws if they call again you will consider it to be harassment and they will be subject to a fine for each call made of at least $1000.  In addition you should ask for a mailing address for the company as well as the fax number.  Inform them you will be sending a demand in writing to be removed and you do not want to be contacted ever again.  You will also be faxing the letter immediately.  

Above all remain calm.  They will try to tell you things that are not true, they will try and threaten you, they will try and distract you, they will try and make you angry.  They will do this because they want you to hang up or start yelling.  If you fall for it they will just call again the next day.  Stick to the point.  Just stay calm, they just don't know what to do with reasonable people.  Ask for the address calmly as many times as it takes.  Don't engage on the threats or attempts to get information from you.  Just tell them again you would like the address and the fax #.  Tell them again you will not now or ever disclose anything on the phone and they are not allowed to call again.  tell them again to please give the address where you can send the cease and desist letter.  Tell them you are not interested in any thing they have to say not on the phone or in writing so they don't need anything from you .

They are calling every morning around 10:30! I work nights, so this is really starting to piss me off. I have a GE card like Stacey, but I've paid over the amount due already, so there's no reason to call.

Not sure who was calling from 702-529-4323, but when I picked it up and answered.....they just hung up???

I get several calls a day from 702-529-4323.  This is GE bank calling about my Walmart credit card that I am past due on.

A MAN from  this number calling my daughters phone number and house phone, when I grab the phone from my 8 year old daughter , they hang up.
