It is Emerald Marketing Group or EMG.  I am going through a third party to settle but they still call and threaten garnishment but Relief told me they can't garnish and especially if I am making arrangments to pay them back.  They think if they bully you or embarish you they will make you pay. Called my boss and said they were sending garnishment but a court has to do that.  It is a cival matter.  Don't le them bully you.  They are a bunch of jerks that kept calling my work but I told my boss what was going on.  Emerald marketing is the company. They called three times in a row to work even after I told them they were getting me in trouble.  They are being reported to the FTC by my third party.

I keep getting calls from this number.  Sometimes they threatened lawsuits, and down-right nasty.

This Co, is called CCS they try to collect old payday loans, funny thing is I dont and never have had one. They call for my roommate and have even told me the amounts of the loans ( witch is illegal)  when i told them Im not the person your trying to reach they told me "sure right I belive you are" and then told me there were going to press criminal charges against me. these people from what i have found out are not a US Registered collection company do not give them any info at all in fact if you get calls from them report them the the federal communications dept as soon as you can.,

yes no fun getting garnished now for a loan, check and a car that i totaled many years ago didnt think had to pay since i didnt have the car and had to get a new one so then i lost my job started writing checks for food then as soon as i got a job i got a few loans and paid my checks, then the payday payments come to find out didnt go to pay the loan it paid intirst or what ever they called it so i dont even know but i think the next place has to wait because hr said only 50% of my check can be garnished but when one is paid the next one will pick up or something but im done borrowing money, hard lesson learned for a  single mom with no idea about this stuff, i got a missed call they will stand in line with the rest

has any one ever been sued by a loan company?

Message is a from a crooked debt collection agency. They call you and make threats to press criminal charges for not pay back pay day loans, that by the way, aren't even on my credit report!! Not paying a loan is a CIVIL NOT Criminal offense. Anyway they basically have a bunch of high school drop outs calling people making false claims about what they are going to do. Be smart and don't give them any personal or financial information.
