said they were from publishers clearing house that i was to recieve 250,000 and a new car..... why would they call ahead if they want to video you being suprised.....sounded like he was at home making the call

Same deal, but 1.5 million and a car.  I had to buy a gift card and read him the number over the phone. Not gonna happen...

I was called from this number from Robert Reed at BofA. I won 1.5 million and a car. All I had to do was get a visa gift card for $250, (then he said "any amount") call him back and read him the number on the card to verify that its really me. He said BofA was handling this for the actual company giving the prize. What a Jackwagon!  I have also been called by publishers clearing house with the scam they tried on "No Name" above. I'm Rich!!!!! LOL!!!!!

I received the same call today...I told the man, do you think I was born yesterday.  If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.  I filed a complaint with the FTC already.  The name he used for me was Mr. Carter.

I got the same call and feel it is the same yahoo making the call and receving the call. This is a total scam. Don't provide these yahoos any personal information. I have sent an email to Publisher Clearning House Security Department to alert them that this scam is taking place.  This 702 number hails from Las Vegas, Nevada where Publisher Clearning House is in New York. Too sly for these losers.  There will be complaint filed with the FBI and FTC too.

We called called the number back and they wanted credit card numbers and would pay off all debts and wanted us to pay $65 to deliver the package.  We also were told we won a car and $250,000.  I think the original caller and the guy that we were told to call was the same person.  Michael Washington was the first guy who called and Jonathan Taylor was the guy we had to call!
