Got a call from this # around 5pm. It came thru as DIRECTTV. She asked me if I had called her.

I DONT ANSWER CALLS WITH NO NAME.

Yep, DirectTv.

THIS NUMBER CALLED MY WORK PHONE EVERY DAY OVER THE PAST WEEKEND.  REALLY????  MY WORK PHONE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DIRECTV

The number is from DirecTv they are following up with a servey on how your install went.

I am curious so many people are confident this is direcTV. See, I actually answer my phone regardless of who it is as I run a business, and everytime this number calls they never say anything, they just hang up. So I started just picking up the phone and waiting for a response on the other end, and they will stay on the line for 3 minutes without saying a word.

I call BS, this is a scam, or if it is DirecTV it is a piss poor way to conduct an after install survey.

If this is DirecTV it is poor customer service. When I answer the phone as my business (because I work out of the house) , it just automatically hangs up. So I got smart and just picked up the phone and waited for the person to identify themselves or an automated message, nothing but pure silence for 3 minutes. Any normal person would say, "I'm sorry, I must have a rpong number" or "I'm looking for "this person", an an automated message would just start the message.

This is a scam, plain and simple. A company as big as DirecTV surely would identify themselves when a person picks up the phone or at least tell you why they are calling.

Received 2 calls within a couple hours of having Direct TV installed, no message.  When I called back, the outgoing message was"Hello, Direct TV customer.....".  It is not Direct TV.   The $79.99 tech support gets you a phone number that does not answer.

It's Direct TV trying to get feedback on the installer.

I had DirecTV technician Darrell install a box today and the technician was really nice and explain everything to me and his performance was professional I would recommend him two others. I been with directv for about 12 years and I will not go with another tv company !!!!

Yes it's Directv just trying to see if you are satisfied with your recent service problem call. BUT.....since this time we are now getting SPAM calls from the 720 area code. Very Phishy. I believe those may be ComCast related. The calls now are RELENTLESS.

Why is this number calling my cellphone and not leaving message? Don't know them!

Because like MANY companies, they do quality control surveys with a third party company. So let's pretend it said Joe's Surveys on the caller ID. You still would not answer and be in the same boat.
The only reason anybody would not answer any number is they are trying to hide from something. Answer it. If it isn't something you are interested in, say thanks, but no thanks, and move along. This is not some conspiracy, and simply answering could end all this faux outrage.

I didn't answer the call and they didn't leave a message.

DirecTV upgrade today. Calling to see how it went. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I will next time.

Nice to see they are still utilizing this number.  Had a service call today after being installed 7 years.  Okay, when I placed the service call, I was not soooo nice about personnel they have sent to my home before.  Actually talked about them being subs and wanting cash transactions...it really did happen, and as much as they say these folks are Direct TV employees--they have their vendors, get checks from DBAs so are technically Subs.  But hey...an automated message to ask if I was satisfied with today's service call.  Still automated and broken, but is still DirectTV?  It is what it is.

Crazy so freaking crazy I just got this new Galazy S4 from Tmobile and I get this number, now a bunch of people are calling me asking me if this is Direct TV :( some people get mad at me and ask why I been asking them so many questions lol gonna have to call tmobile :(

I do not have DirectTV nor do I want it.

Just got a call from this number to my BLOCKED cell phone.  We've never had DirectTV at this address,(original owners with a different cable company), and this was a solicitation from DirectTV.  Frustrating.

A day after direct TV installed a genie. I start he anonymous calls from this number
702 576 0430.

They keep calling. The first time i answered and thry hung up. We did recently have direct tv installed, but ehy hang up or not leave messages?

Got three calls from this number.  Just had the direct tv technician at my house on Sunday.  Received automate calls (2 on Sunday and 1 today).  I called back today and got the automated service telling me to call the 1-800 number if I had any questions or problems.

Just got Directv installed.  I don't answer calls from unrecognizable numbers.  I'm assuming it's Directv from all the postings here.  No message, but if it's just a courtesy call, I'm not going to worry about calling them back.

Had Directv out for a satellite problem today.  Must have been them verifying my satisfaction (they're good about that), but I wish they'd put their name on the call.
