Called wanting a 2 story home sided. I didnt return phone call as have heard from them before.....definately a scam!

I have collected a vast number of infractions & my research has just started. Together we can make them stop.

They c/i and lvm on our machine. "Nicole" wanted an estimate for 150' of gutter.
When my assistant c/b & talked to Nicole. My assistant asked for the physical address of the "so called" site for the gutter estimate. Nicole then flip-flopped & said she was calling to promote a contracting co. Then, as soon as Nicole found out my assistant was not the owner, she didn't want to talk to my assistant any longer & said she'd c/b the next day to talk to the owner. I called back & lvm. Letting Nicole know we were not interested & we didn't care for her misrepresentation.
Very misleading & a bad promotion for this so called company.

A man (Juan) left a message about a job in a neighboring town.  When I called back the number i got a vm for a guy named John.  I seemed wierd so I looked up the number on the internet and found this site.

Like all others say. It's a scam. A guy called me and told me he had a friend in my area that needed to have a house painted (in and out). Gave him an average bid over the phone. Then he said he would call his friend and arrange everything.
 Next day he calls and said his friend didn't like the bid but, for 500.00 a year they will promise me 12 leads for the year and that they have 4 jobs in our area sitting on the desk in front of him.

If you're gonna be a sales person. Do it the legit way and stop lying to contractors making them think that they are going to be getting work. We have schedules and work around them when big jobs come in. Don't make me start to turn away small customers because I think a big job is around the corner
Plus, my number is on the National "Do Not Call List" and I'll be filing a complaint

It's a solicitation from "EveryContractor.com". They promise you a list of guaranteed leads but they want you to sign up at some initial exuberant initial fee. It's basically a scam.
They call you at your business and tell you they want some contracting work done in your area then try to sell you their "services". I had another company do this to me a few months back also. Can't remember their name. When you receive a call from an unknown phone number, look it up at http://www.whitepages.com/reverse_phone If you can't find a name but you see it is a business (because they leave an extension #), call it late at night and see how the phone is answered. Hope this helps.

left message today on my business phone,didnt pronounce location of town requiring work properly. souded fishy so googled # and see all this. another jokester looking for $ from yet another almost desperate contractor.. between this crap and the dozens of unpublished # calls on weekends and nights its hard to keep your temper. called from 702-583-7873  ext 4388...

Got a message saying they were looking for someone to contract to finish a house and do some carpenter work, gave me this number(702-583-7873) with a name of Sonny and extension number or 4472. This is a private residence, I was going to call and tell her that, but since I've seen this after I googled the number then I know it's just a scam..........Caller ID says unknown and does not show a number.........just proof it is a scam and not a company.

Called and said had fence to put up in Carollton, Texas and wanted me to call him back at 702-583-7873  ext. 4198.  He said his name was Richard.  Call to complain 800-333-4050.  I would ask for Richard and tie his phone line up where he won't call me anymore.  This is a Scam.

Thayne Wells called and asked if we do sunroom remodels, that he got our info from google.  I told him that our owner would handle that and he was in the shop.  I took down Thayne's info (702) 583-7873 x7351 and googled it while I put him on 'hold for our owner'.  I found this site, got off hold and asked him where he was calling from.  He said the LasVegas area and I asked him if he had a home here and he said no, but he had clients that needed our services.  I tol him he needed to take us off of his list and that I saw his number on this 800notes.com and he began arguing with me about not being able to take us off his list.  I hung up on him and he called back twice.  The second time I picked up the phone he started harassing me about how I shouldn't believe everything that I hear and google and not being able to stop dialing us.  I told him that if he called again I would report him.

I just missed a call from "Steve." He asked me to call him back at (702) 583-7873, ext. 4268. He told me he had a big job in Hodgeson, GA (town doesn't even exist.) The funny thing is the call originated from everycontractor.com. (888) 326-0653.

Got a voicemail from Joel at 702-583-7873 x4366 wanting us to bid a foundation for a home addition and wanting to know what our availability was...I was suspicious because of the out of state area code and extention. Needless to say, after reading all of these posts, I'm glad I Googled the number first.

I had a message on my voicemail when I got in this morning saying they have multiple home exteriors in my area that need painting. Wanted to know if I was interested. I get these all the time, is there anyone I can report this to?

Got a call yesterday from "Candace" wanting to convert a bonus room into a theater room. Left message to call her at her office: 702-583-7873 x 4016. Googled the number and found these postings. Thanks! (P.S. Are businesses exempt from the Do Not Call Registry??)

Figured I would chime in. I just recieved a call and it came up as an 888 number. It was some guy saying he needed work done. The call back number he gave me was 702 583 7873 ex 4079.
I checked on thew number before calling it, and found a few sites like this one. I noticed it has been a few months since the last post, so I figured I would let everyone know it was still going on.

This out of town # called to see if I would travel to a local town here for a paint job.  Suspicion led me to look it up here.  I figured it was a scam.

Wanted to "get a quote for a basement remodel".
Could hear all the telemarketers in backfground.

Just got a call from Jamie (702)583-7873 X4338. Left voicemail stating she had a basement remodel and that we could give her a call back at work.

What I would like to know is why don't they just state that they have leads in the area that they would like to sell us? Be up front. I hate the games!! Seems like the hounds are scamming for money again. The scum seem to surface when money is tight and people are struggling for jobs especially in the construction business.

Wonder if the scam company is associated with the warrantee company and credit card/id scam 'This is your final chance to lower your rate'?

Asked for the owner of the business. Said he was out, would he like to leave a message. Said his name was Bob and his # was 702-583-7873 ext. 4163 and he wanted to talk to him about a couple of projects! Good thing for the internet. We can keep ahead of these guys.

We got a call today (Tuesday, June 23, 2009) from Pamala Roberts at 702-583-7873 x4343, she would not give us a address to her house that needed to add new bathroom, hardie siding, and decking. It is a lie, acting as if they are a homeowner; when all they are doing are selling leads.

I also google the number when it's not a "typical" call I would get. Thanks guys for the heads up.

Got call today looking for painter to do a couple of projects in "my neck of the woods".  Name was unclear but requested a callback at work "702-583-7873 ext 4295.  Since I knew that "702" is Nevada as I have had a few other calls from there, I googled it before returning call. Same MO as others listed here.  Thanks for the heads up!

Anyone get a call from Sunny? ext 4472. Only problem 702 is a Nevada area code that's a little far for me I live in Maryland. Damn wish I could have gotten that Kitchen Remodel. SCAM

Got a voice mail from a lady named Verni who said she needs some fencing and to call her at 702-583-7873 ext 4301. I thought this was a scam since it is clear from our website that we only do work in Arizona and we don't advertise anywhere outside the state. Check out number here and sure enough its a scam. The call came from 1-888-326-0653.

Too funny I thought it might have been someone at work in boston so i googled the number I landed here thanks for the info on the scam.  

He said he was looking for an estimate on 300 linear feet of fencing.  yeah right.

Received this voicemail: "Hi, good afternoon. I'm calling to see if you guys do residential roof repairs, and it's in Columbus.  My name is Greg. My phone number is 702-583-7873 X2298. Please give me a call back. Thank you." .

Me too. Lisa, called and left a voice mail for me. She had a friendly voice. She had some landscaping work for me... Blah, Blah, Blah! Because of the "foriegn" area code I googled it... took me straight to this site. Thanks for the heads up... Scammers beware!!! We have the power of the internet.

Also received a call from 702-583-7873x 2354, Robert. Saying he needs concrete work..SCAM!!
