Received a tex this morning with my daughter's name indicating taxes will be held. I called and the guy could not even tell me what comapny he represents. I told him it was against the law to contact anyone prior to 8:00am, he hung up on me. These billies sent me a text also. Talking about I took out a payday loan. I asked where they said cash advance. I told him that I have never done such a thing. I then asked what state he stated he didn't know. Right then I knew I was being scammed. He then said we will see you in court and hung up. I laugh at ppl like that because what they fail to realize is that I know my law and I also know that you can not be contacted through a text on a matter if such nature.

They call scams like this gold fishing seen it on the news before, and heard it on the radio station this past sunday they text me yesterday sound very agressive  asked for my credit card info lol! Scam I cursed them out they hung up. They said my taxes would be suspended due to criminal charges against me.

don't worry they can not serve you by text... it's illegal, they are trying to get you to call and willingly give them information, then you can hurt yourself... other than that, don't call these people.

I,too, can claim all of the above--asking for one of my married sons..who hasnt live with us for 15 years!!

I received a text message today Jan23,2013 stating a application is being filed to suspend all income tax returns from Drake& McKannon Law Offices 18009513767 it has to be scam

I got a couple texts saying that Application has being filed to suspend all income tax returns unless I contact Law Offices of Drake & Mckannon at 8009513767 and provides me a file number.  I'm scared even to contact them but I'm totally sure it's a scam

Got the same message saying pretrial crap!  Total scam...Call their bluff, question them instead of them questioning you.  They will hang up.  They put Mckannon in my text and I see others say Mckinnon...Hmmm law employees can't spell...lol

Got a text from this number stating "Pre-Trial notice (my name) from Law Offices of Drake Mckinnon, complaint number call 1-888-734-6016 immediately.

Got a message left for my husband stating same thing it must be another scam just disgusting. FBI and local authorities are not interested in this sort of crime....

I also received a text stating the same "Pre-Trial notice (MY FULL NAME) from the Law Offices of Drake Mackannon immediately concerning this complaint" First of all, it is scary that people can  have access to your information, I have called the guy and the same, he didn't know what to say to me. So, be careful. Now I am going to research this people further.  The phone # to call was 800-951-3767 And yes, you have to be served with a complaint before you have a pre-trial.

So I called them and asked them what complaint and what trial because I had not been served with anything. The guy on the phone would not identify himself and kept asking for the complaint number and when I asked him what scam he was trying to pull he hung up. Folks, you cannot be taken to court without being LEGALLY SERVED with a complaint, (unless I guess now by the government under Home Land Security) DONT FALL FOR ANY OF THEIR TACTICS AND CALL THEM ON THEIR SCAM!!!!!
