I have a PM company handling my house in Las Vegas, NV. The company is not performing the duties outlined in the contract. The do not return phone calls or emails, but I do receive my monthly check. I tried to get out of the the three year agreement shortly after my tenant moved in for these issues, but I was told I would have to buy them out by paying them their monthly fee until the end of the term. They have other fees detailed in the contract. I am required to pay a $500 re-leasing fee so that they might find a new tenant once the current one moves out. I was wondering if I am obligated to pay that fee if I find the tenant, or if I choose to pay their monthly percentage through the end of their term & do not use them to find someone new once the current tenant moves out. I knew about these fees when signing the contract, but did not have a problem with the company until three months into their service. I tried speaking to the broker, and he refused to help.

I, too, received the text message from this number and an e-mail.  The guy is going by the name of Scott Wagoner and is using the address of a Pizza Hut in Jackson, MS. Also, the e-mail asks for my contact information, which is on my resume. My biggest concern is that the local newspaper is running this ad without checking any of the information on this person. Thanks to websites like this one, I am able to avoid such SCAMS as this one.

This morning I received a text at 5:30 AM from this number!! Then I received another for some other applicant 3 minutes later. The man is going by Michael Rodriguez now. So annoying to be woke up early for some BS scam.

I got the same exact email from Paul Gingerich!What a scum! I knew it was a scam immediately! What is this person trying to prove? I thought he'd be trying to steal peoples identity, so I didn't give any of my personal information. I hope he gets in trouble for this!

I too, received an email regarding the same topic. I never specifically remember applying for a property management job, but I did have my resume listed online. The email and text message came from a Paul Gingrich:

The text message that I received stated that I would start work the 15th of May and receive my 1st paycheck on the 17th of May *** HUGE red-flag. Not once have I spoken to, nor interviewed with the gentleman. I called the number and got a "Google subscriber" voicemail.

It is obvious that this is a scam and should be taken not only seriously, but carried with a serious level of caution.

This guy is a fake.  When I verified the checks he sent out with a ligit bank, the checks were reproduced.  Do not give this guy any information it is all a scam....

I also asked him for the name of his company and never received an answer. But, today I got an e-mail letting me know a check would be Fed-Exed to me today and I should go to my bank and wire the money to Andrew Richard in China (details provided) for some kind of aluminum wire purchase (???). I actually did receive a check today. Tomorrow, I'm taking it and a copy of all the e-mails to the bank for investigation. This is clearly a scam since no legitimate business would move money through a person they've never even spoken to.

I rec'd a text from this number asking me to check my e-mail in response to the assistant property manager position add I responded to. The e mail was really detailed with the job description/offer. It sounded too good to be true.  He used the name(Sanacore Tillman).  This was yesterday 4/11/13 and I replied stating I would consider the position but I'd like to know the name of his company and the location of the properties.  I live in Florida.  It just sounds too good to be true.

He emailed me again today and stated I had the job and that my appointment starts March 26th and more information would be sent to me. My fist working commission would be delivered on March 29th. He has me reed tried to contact me by phone. Is this all a scam? My job was recently deleted so I am really needing a job but don't need hopes built up if this is a scam. Can anyone help me with this?

I applied for a job as an Property manager assistant. I get texts from this number asking me to check my email, giving me details of the job "Kevin Hardy" has hired me for. He gives a local address, yet the employees at that address have no one there by that name. In the email, he also gives a Penn. number. I am going to take this to the police.
