Just got a call from that number for my husband.  Said he was from the TREASURY DEPT. in Nevada...and the call was urgent.  He would NOT give any other information.  My husband called him back and of course he wanted $$$ cause we won something.  LOL...My hubby told him to put it IN THE MAIL...and slammed the phone down.  Unreal...

I got a call from 1 702-609-7081 yesterday morning from this guy asking for my Husband... When I asked him who was calling, he was very rude and did not want to tell me who was calling at first. I 'asked' him his name once again and he finally told me "James Peterson"... I then told him my Husband was not around at the time and he told me to have my Husband call him back... When I asked him what it was regarding, he ignored me and hung up...

Thank you to the ones up above who put the name "Mr, Peterson" and the phone number up on this site... I was so aggravated at this caller, I traced it to Las Vegas NV which is across the country from us.All day I was wondering 'WHAT', 'WHO' and "WHY' until I had the idea to punch in the number into Google and this site came up.  I don't know what he was going to 'offer' my Husband, but I do know he's up to NO GOOD and randomly calls people...

This person called me sounding foreign and told me I won $850,000 and wanted to know why i did not claim my check, when I started questioning him he became very rude and when I told them I believed he was trying to scam me he swore and yelled at me in extremely offensive language and called me horrible names and hung up on me and when I call the number back they pick up and hang up. I wish to file a report against this person and will look further into doing this.

the mans accent was extremly heavy.
the man continued to tell me that i needed to pay 700 dollars for 'shipping and handling' to get my check of $850,000.00.
he told me that i was chosen out of a lottery of 19 people and i had won the grand prize.
he also said that this 'law firm' was located in Las Vegas, Nevada. i then asked if i could come pick up my check after that he started giving very short responces and tried to hurry and get off the phone !

a "Mr. Peterson" called my mother's phone and I answered. He asked for her. When I asked him what the call was regarding, he became upset and abusive saying the call was not for me and to tell my mother to call him. He said something about a Law firm. He had a very heavy accent.
I told her not to give anyone any information over the phone if he called back to hang up.

702-609-7081 is an African scammer that fakes and pretends to be a Nevada law firm issuing a lottery. The scammer wants people to send money (using western union) to get money.
