Telemarketer
Alan Rodriguez Senior vice president as of 5.27.14 was found guilty of 20 felony counts of fraud. Micheal Malduon - owner but registered only as a manager- fishy. Calls as resort stay international. Business name is star point. 245 E warm springs. They hire people with criminal backgrounds to take your credit card information.  The rehash leads ( phone #'s ) even if you ask to be placed on the do not call. How they are allowed to stay in business is is money. You pay the right people you are allowed to break the law. Politicians don't care about you, they care about money.

I worked for them at 245 Warm Springs. I took a job as a telemarketer to try and make ends meet. We called the same "leads" day after day. Cursed by folks like the above that had repeatly asked to be put on the do not call list. The supervisors handed out the same leads (by hand, no computer sorting) everyday. One day the rep on my right and on my left and me all got the same lead to call. IF YOU MANAGE to get into one of their high end resorts and can deal with their alleged 90 min no pressure time-share presentation, AND get your "room deposit" back, you will get value for you money, However, chances are you will be placed, because of "availabilty" in some low-end dive like the Imperial, and THEN be placed in a bucket of leads that will be called endlessly with the spiel that you were chosen from the sweepstakes you entered at the mall. GOOD LUCK.

Well I hope this will help you and all others understand the business of time-share sales via the telephone.
1) I worked for Resortstay from 4/2010 till10/2010 and it is a real company,2) YES there are some sales agents that have "not so appealing" phone etiquette, and pressure potential clients because of the desire, need, and pressure to make 13plus sales per week(bonus),3) YES, There is an upfront payment for your stay and the agents are supposed to let you know that your money will be refunded ONLY IF you fulfill ALL the requirements within your package,4) Now as to how you are called, IF YOU filled out ANY TYPE of form for ANY TYPE of contest drawing, i.e. STATE FAIR, NEW CAR,etc. your information is sent in and you are eligible for "Vacation Getaways" even if you don't win the grand prizes,5) it is totally up to you to accept the visit(s) or not,6) TIRED OF GETTING CALLED? all you need to do is HANG UP EACH TIME you are called because when you stay on the phone thinking that you are giving an agent "THE BUSINESS", you are really relaying that YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED because that is the taught theory BY SOME in that business.

I am a former employee of Resortstay International and I can tell you now, it is a scam! I only worked for them for one day because I refused to lie to people and be rude like they expected me to. The script they give you to read is bs also. Lying and treating people horribly i s not something a "well established" company should do and I wasn't willing to participate.

Obvious scam.  Same story - signed up to win a car at the mall, Get call after call from the following company trying to sell me a time share.  They promise 2 free roundtrip airfares anywhere in the U.S. for 90 minutes of your time.  Then they want you to sign all kinds of contracts, fork over your credit card, etc...

The company has changed names every time they get enough complaints filed against them.  Currently, they are called:

Resort Stay
245 W. Warm Springs Road
Las Vegas, NV  (702) 650-0861
supervisors name is Floyd Scotton and the rude idiot that called me is Sean Pancirov.

Shame on them for trying to scam people.  Go and get a real job.

Just got a call from Resorts Stay Int.  they say we signed up over a year ago when we were in Vegas.  they want $99 - which they say is returned as a deposit to hold the room & it's returned.  I wanted to check them out before submitting my cc info & she's giving me 24 hours, so I need some answers fast.  Has anyone done this??

This company is the most disrespectful group of telemarketing buffoons. They call over and over, and pretend that I know them. And then they say that I entered a drawing, and I most certainly did not. Then they say that I went to some show at Planet Hollywood and I never did. Not sure who sold my number but it must be illegal to call people over and over again when you asked to be taken off the list.  They call late at night, they call when you ignore their calls. They even call when you hang up on them. One guy said I was "real mature" when I hung up on him. Who does that? I'm working hard on reporting them and bringing them down.

They keep calling and calling and calling - asking for someone who does not live here - I have asked 6 times to be taken off of the call list - i would think a respectable business would quit calling. Not these people. They have kept calling-what a bunch of big a** losers- must be hard for the employees to sleep at night knowing they annoy people all day.

The rudest bunch of scam artists.  Signed up for a sweepstakes 2 years ago and have received calls ever since.  The company is Resort Stay International, a timeshare scam.  Have told them to put me on their do not call list 3 times over the last 2 years.  Told them I would file a complaint against them and file a lawsuit.  They say "you go ahead and do that."  Nothing scares them.  Filed a do not call complaint anyway but the FTC doesn't do anything.  I will have to think about a small claims case under Nevada law.

Actually you recieve the vacation package not "won". you or someone you know filled out an entry form for you and thought that you needed a vacation thats all. For these time shares you dont have to buy them at all its your choice to or not. THIS IS NOT A SCAM AT ALL. Resort Stay International has been in business for over 23 years. Their in between the Bellagio and the New City Center. You should check it out sometime....

HI Max,

I would like to respond to you and others who have some misinformation regarding the CasaBlanca Vacation Clubs involvment with this number.

While you and others who condcut a reverse number search are right about the information shown on the results page.  Unfortuately parts of the information is incorrect.

Which has created the confusion on who the number 702.350.3251 actully belongs .

The Company who currently has the number  (702.350.3251) is "Resorts Stay International". From what I read , they are a marketing company for a Las Vegas Timeshare program.

As the manager of the State registered and licensed CasaBlanca Vaction Club, located in Mesquite Nv,  I can assure you we have no connection or dealings with this company, nor do we have anything to do with phone calls originating from this number or Resorts Stay International.

Other than what we have read on the internet and learned from speaking with folks who called us because of the listing you referred to, we know nothing of their operation or business.

Over 5 years ago we did have an offcie at that location on Topaz street, but we stopped marketing our timeshares and completley closed that office and left the building.  It would appear since it was wired for a phone bank with many lines,  the current tenants who are telemarketers  found the space fit their needs and they leased it, when I have no idea.

All I know for certian is we have been gone for over 5 years.

Neither of the two people lsited are currently involved either, they were the management team when the office was open.

However it does appear since we we did at one time have that address, the reverse phone directories are still connecting the two.

We have sent request to the phone companies to get our name removed and the correction made.

Hope this information will help those looking to find out who is behind this number and remove any confusion regarding CasaBlanca Vacation Club's invovlment.

Respectfully,

Manager

Actually its not and you are obviously not that smart. A company does not stay in business for 23 years if its a scam. I went to the jockey club and i got everything they told me I would. Yes we are required to pay the taxes and a processing fee but that goes to the airline and to the government. not to resortstay, I actually had a few family and friends go down after I did and then I went and got a job there so I actually think its funny that you're wasting time on these sites complaining about something you dont really know about when you could've gotten some nice stuff for very little of your time. Some people are just bitter old complainers that love to hear themselves talk. oh well, your loss

I received a call saying I entered a drawing at the mall, which I did not, however I did fill out a survey today for "Vector Marketing." I had applied online for a job there, and an hour later received a call for an interview. I agreed to come in two days later, but after hanging up realized how quickly they had responded, and something seemed fishy about it. I looked more carefully at their website and it seemed they were trying really hard to "sell" people on the job. People in this economy are dying for jobs- so if it's legitimate, you shouldn't have to be convincing people to come work for you with testimonials and everything, INCLUDING a link for parents?? Obviously this is a scam, and they are feeding off of young high school students and college students. I decided to call and inform them I would not be coming in for the interview because I wasn't interested, but all I reached was an answering service. I left a message and left it at that. I have since received two emails asking why I didn't come in for the interview, and if it was a mistake, they were willing to reschedule. Now does that sound legitimate? Knowing nothing about me, they want to reschedule for an interview? Anyway today the email I received said if I filled out a survey to tell them why I didn't come in, I could be entered into a drawing. I didn't care much about the drawing, but just thought I'd let them know how I felt so that maybe they could make some changes in their company. Instead, I receive a phone call tonight saying I won a trip to Hawaii and $2000 dollars? I immediately hung up knowing it was a scam!!!
