We stayed at a Hilton this summer and UNFORTUNATELY sighed up for their Hilton Honors program.
I am SO UN-HONERED to get their phone calls many times a day.
They called at 5AM the other day !!!!!!!!
Hilton has gone to the bottom of my hotel list now.

They've been calling me for two days. Today someone finally came on the line when I answered. The caller asked for me by name and then identified themselves as being with Hilton. When I told the caller this was a cell phone, she got nasty and told me that was the number on my Hhonors account. I responded that no, it wasn't, and she started yelling. I said "thank you" and hung up. (Sometimes I'm just too polite.) Went to the Hilton site to check, and my cell number is not associated with my account. I'm very ticked off right now.

Looking back I can see that this number has been calling people since 2009.
I got my first call from them today and as usual I did not answer. I am not going to call them back or press any number to be put on a do not call list. Instead I have just simply blocked the number. They have no business calling me in the first place. I have not stayed in a Hilton property nor am I a member. Plus they can no longer use the excuse as having a business relationship with people. They must have WRITTEN permission to call.
| phoneuser 2012-09-19 22:25:14 Telemarketer |
If you've stayed in a Hilton property, or are a Hilton Honors member, then you have and "existing relationship" with you, and they can call you even if your name is on the Do Not Call list.

It's a Hilton promotion. Just call (702) 616-7396 and listen to the menu for the # to press (it was 2 when I called) to be removed from their call list. She said it would take 72 hours.

Who cares? Push the "ignore" button.

Don't know what they want and don't care. Do not call list doesn't seem to be working.

Just got a call on my cell. No message or Caller ID.

Actually, by Pressing 2, as suggested by the shill for this fraud, you will ensure your number is placed on a suckers list and called repeatedly in the future - your number will also be sold to other scams as a "sucker" or "mark" - someone gullible enough to respond to this type of scam

To repeat someone else's exact message earlier: "It's a Hilton promotion. Just call (702) 616-7396 and listen to the menu. It will ask you to press 2 to be removed from the promotion call list. Then it will tell you to wait for the next available rep. I got someone within 30 sec. and explained that I wish to be removed from whatever list I am on. She said it could take up to 72 hours. Do this or they WILL KEEP CALLING!! And it will continue to happen on a quarterly basis

Thanks to MakinMeCrazy we did just what he mentioned and they were very nice. We stayed in a Hilton in August and thats how they got our number.
It's a Hilton promotion. Just call (702) 616-7396 and listen to the menu for the # to press (it was 2 when I called) to be removed from their call list. She said it would take 72 hours. Got my fingers crossed.

I have tons of voice mails from them, they call my google voice number which flags it as spam and sends straight to voice mail. I hear them talking in some of the calls, but at least my phone never rings.

I am getting at least 2-3 calls a day from 702-699-7926, and have gotten at least 30 in the past 12 days or so! They never leave a msg, and I do not answer the call--let the answering. But whoever it is, they hang up immediately (robocall?). They call when I am sleeping, too!

I received a missed call at 8:07 PM on 9-19-11 from this number on my line at work, but no message. Judging from other comments here, sounds like it was Hilton marketing. Maybe got my work # because I travel for work and/or have Hilton Honors membership. Maybe in that case being on the Do Not Call list doesn't matter. The price of membership might include fine print allowing them to pester participants with marketing calls.

Got a call tonight at 8:55 PM. The background noise sounded as if he was in a coffee place that was crowded. Said his name was Dezmon and said he was calling from Hilton since I am a valued member that has stayed at one of the Hilton hotels. Asked me when the last time I was in Vegas because he was offering a vacation package. He only knew my first name and wanted to know my marital status and income. I answered his income question with on of his options but he then asked me to give him a more accurate number and I didn't. He said something about a vacation timeshare with no obligation to buy. I'm on the Do Not Call list so I don't know how they got my number. I told him at the end I wasn't interested. He was nice throughout the conversation but I believe they're one of those timeshare scams.

I have been getting the calls, too. So, annoying. Turns out It's a Hilton promotion and since we recently stayed at a Hilton, the laws permit them to call customers...even if you are on the DoNotCall registry!! Just call (702) 616-7396 and listen to the menu for the # to press (it was 2 when I called) to be removed from their call list. She said it would take 72 hours. Got my fingers crossed.
