Really, Snuggles? Everybody, get on that phone right away and call Lower Interest Rate Consulting because Snuggles says it's a "ligit" company and she's so happy with the "ligit" help she's getting. Thank God those nasty scammers called her and inadvertently gave her the name of a "ligit" company. Otherwise, I shudder to think where she would be today without the divine intervention of Lower Interest Rate Consulting!

To qualify you have to owe at least 5000 in debt with at least a 14 or 15% interest or higher. Anyone who tells you that you can owe less with a lower interest is scamming you. We use this as a guide to truly help someone, I don't want to put someone further into debt our goal is to get you out. I am only able to do so much to help get rid of the companies out there that are not licensed or that scam individuals. But what I can do is continue to help individuals that need it and show what we can do first. Sometimes we have to trust someone and we are willing to show you our record and give you all our information. The companies that are a scam will not give you anyway of getting back to them, those are the ones you need to be weary about. Good luck with whatever you choose to do!

I work for them I am one of the owners, I want to first say I am sorry for all the companies out there that do scam people! I have worked hard for the last 4 years to prove that we are a company that does and will try to help people. We tell you we don't promise any miracles, but we will work with you to achieve getting out of debt. We don't charge you up front, we believe that we have to first see if we can help the individual first and prove to you that we are not here to take your money but to help. I don't feel it is right to slander my company because others only want the money and run! You are protected by law so if you really need help give us a call what do you have to loose, and we are listed on the BBB.

Called my new cell phone number that was activated today.  When I answered there was a recording playing and I pressed "1" to speak to a live agent.  When a person picked up they asked if I wanted to learn about lowering my loan rates.  I said I wanted my number taken off their list that this was a new phone number and they needed to not contact me.  They promptly hung up on me before I could finish talking.

This number keeps calling an empty conference room right next to the cube where I work.  When I answer the phone & let them know they have called an empty room at a business (& could they please stop), they hang up on ME--with an attitude!  How rude is that?  VERY irritating!  FYI, initially, only the phone number showed on my work Caller ID, but after I answered the phone, the name "Insider Events" appeared.  Anyway, thanks to all for the information supplied regarding this irritating phone number/scam.  I appreciate it!

They called my new desk phone at my office (department of defense contractor) and it started playing a recorded message about healthcare before I hung up. They definitely shouldn't be allowed to call workplaces like mine!

Wanted to get credit card information to lower my rates. Asked if this was a telemarketing call, the caller said no, it is not a telemarketing call, and that he got my information from my credit card company, even though he didn't know who my credit card company was. Said that there is no out of pocket expense to me. Asked about their company, told me their company name is "Account Services" asked for their website, they told me to do a search for Lower Interest Rate Consulting, and that it's the first one on any search engine with a really long name, which the first one I found was lowerinterestrateconsulting.com. Did a quick WhoIs lookup on the domain, found out who the Registerant was... asked who that person was... the guy on the phone said he had no clue, then said the owner of the company is Mrs. Palmer (couldn't give me anymore details than that). Said to have them remove my number after that. Sounds like a scam.

I was wondering what questions you asked them to qualify?  I am looking to use a credit counseling service and don't want to be scammed but based on my phone call to the better biz bureau (and I got that phone number myself...not from "Lower Interest Rate Consulting") this company is legit with a B- rating (3 complaint that are fully resolved in 5 years).  Just curious what you used to qualify...like I said, don't want to get scammed.

Got a telemarketing call identifying themselves as 'Account Services' to lower my interest rate. After a few initial qualification question, I knew right away that it was NOT a reputable organization, as she could not tell me how they made money reducing MY interest rate. I asked for a web address, she kept me on hold for a long time and then came back to give me 'www.mylirc.com'. After looking at their website, I was convinced that this was a fly-by-night operation. I did some farther research and decided that this WAS a scam.... so do not indulge in these phone scams... BEWARE...

I found that people that had called me was also telling me to search the lower interesting website and come to find out they really didn't know that there is a company out there with that name. So when I called the company from the website I was amazed for the amount of help that they did give me. So thanks to the scammers I ended up with a ligit company called lower interest rate consulting. If you have high rates and debt call them you will be as happy as I am today.

Keeps calling my virgin mobile cell phone. I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  But, they will not stop calling.

I hung up right away.  It is not the first time I received those calls.

received a call today but didnt answer.... then googled the number... ugh how annoying they keep calling and calling.

Got a call from this number.  Caller id said, "Register to vote"  when I answered, it was a recording regarding "my account".
I pushed 1 to talk to a person, who asked, "Is this in response to our low-interest rate offer?".  I replied no, that was just wondering which account this was concerning.
