THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING MY CELL PHONE AND I WANT IT TO STOP

I receive an average of 4 calls a day from this number to my cell.  I don't know who they are, they never leave a message.

Phone companies have little power over these calls.  they take your report but have little teeth in their arsenal to fight with.  I called FCC. FTC. and everyone else.  file complaints with everyone possible.  see JD's post. it is a violation of the DNC but most offenders could care less as they are usually protected somewhat by a sham front company name

yeah, this is exactly how my call with her went. very strange...

They called for a couple days. I couldnt always answer it but they left no message and when i did answer there wasnt anyone on the other line. I then answered this call a few minutes ago and apparently im entered into a million dollar sweepstakes or some such thing. She told me my name address and email which she somehow possessed, to confirm it on file. Then she said that i had a master or amex card on file and wanted infromation from it. I told her i didnt have any of these cards. even if i did i wouldnt give info on them. then she said i was going to get a confirmation email which i have yet to receive. She then hung up the phone. i only went on because i was curious... not actually hoping to win a million dollars..

This number keeps calling for weeks now, sometimes 4 or more times a day. Sometimes I answe,r but they don't say anything. You can't call the number back. Today I answered and someone was on the line. They said I was entered into a sweepstakes by visa mastercard or discover as a preferred card holder and then told me the were affiliated with this website http://www.sweepsresults.com/million/ .  The woman continued to talk. She had my name address and email. She said she would send me more information by email. She then said she was going to send me 3 magazines free of charge for 3 months and a teeth whitening kit from HSN, but that I'd have to pay $43.13 a month. I said I was unemployed and broke and was not interested and she immediately disconnected our call ( hung up on me.) It is a telemarketing scheme, but I sure would like to know how they got all my information??

I did not ask for these calls and want them to stop, it is annoying.  I am not going to answer them and waste my minutes.

I got called by the same number and i didn't answer im on the federal do not call list so i will take matters in my own hand call my phone company than police

i also got a call fr. them they said i won and as soon as they found out  i didn't have a credit card they hung up on me . i tried calling back but it was busy

LISTEN EVERYBODY GO TO YOUR SETTINGS ON YOUR SMART PHONE.  THEN GO TO YOUR CALL SETTINGS  AND FIND CALL RESTRICTION SET IT FOR CONTACTS ONLY.  THAT WAY WHEN THEY CALL THEY CANT GET THROUGH AND IT GOES STRAIGHT TO VOICE MAIL.YOUR PHONE WONT EVEN RING IT WILL JUSY SEND THEM TO VOICE MAIL. I KNOW IT Wont KEEP THEM FROM CALLING BUT IT WILL SHUT THEM UP.FOR AWHILE

received several calls from this #. ignored it first couple of times, then tried to answer the last few times.  no answer, no message.

DO NOT TALK TO THEM!!  They are phishers.  I am a tech-savvy person and I still got dooped by them! They called me for about a week straight and I just ignored it.  I paid my Consumers Energy bill on Friday, then got another call from this number on Saturday.  I had just woken up from a nap and answered this phone call, and it was someone claiming to from Consumers Energy.  They said they just saw my recent payment, but in order to stay on our payment plan, we needed to pay another $209.80.  My original payment was for about half of that, so I was at first really annoyed, but nonetheless, I owed them money, right?  I varied all my usual information to them and didn't think anything was fishy at all, besides the fact that I owed more money than stated the previous day, but let's get real, that happens all the time.  I tried using my debit card to make the payment, but they kept stating that is was getting declined.  I explained to them a few times that I have overdraft protection, but "purchases" like this can still go through, and they just kept saying sorry, it's declined.  That was my second or third red flag, but again, I'm not thinking anything of this yet, so I proceed to give them my credit card information.  BOY was this stupid!  Within a few hours, I got two automated alerts from my credit card company about fraudulent activity.  One for $209.80 to a clothing store, another $150.34 to some online printing company.  BOTH were fraud, so I cancelled my credit card and requested a new one.  No big deal there, thanks to my c.c. fraud alerts.  Since it was a three-day weekend with MLK day, I wasn't able to talk to a real Consumers Energy rep until Monday, almost 48 hours later, but they confirmed that no one called me on Saturday asking for my money.   I reported this incident and report this phone number to them so they are going to investigate!  DO NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!!

They called me three or four times and did not leave any messages. I called back and the lady told me that I won the contest for a milion dollars. As soon as I heard this, I told her to take that money because I don't want it. Then she hung off the phone on me.
