This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

They called me twice today and after I answered they hung up, landline. I called them back on my cell phone and said press 2 to be removed. LOL  Then I called them back on my landline and the fools picked up. I asked what company was it and she said something that didn't make sense. I could hear other voices in the background.  I asked why they called and hang up and she said they were trying to fix that. I told them that I was on the no call list and to stop calling me. "She said ok and I asked don't you want to know the number and she said  What...... I sent the number to my Attoney General of OK and filed a complaint.

We have call blocking for solicitors but they called anyway, when I answered (which I shouldn't have) they hung up.

Yes, these are scammers ( they've been running the same stupid scam for over 5 years using many, many spoofed numbers). They are also quite possible known to be connected with several other well known and incessant scams as well (home security system/Tom of Home Protection), that phoney survey and cruise scam (actually a time share scam), the phoney loan modification scam ("your equity is upside down" ... when it is not) and quite possibly others. I have noticed a good many times they have each used the same spoofed numbers (as well as area codes, all around the same time frame). And, yes, on each one of these they always ask for credit card number, which no one should ever give out over the from ... especially if the caller is someone or a business you don't know!

And yes, it's an attempt to get our info to either rob us blind once they have it to possible identity theft. Which from seeing all the mirad of complaints all over the web, all the blog posts and articles, FRC reports ... it's an attempt obviously, and pretty much a failed one.

What can I say, those behind this scam must truly be a bunch of moron's!

I have been receiving numerous calls from these people on my land line. I let the answering machine take care of the call. This have slow them  down. Don,t call that often now. Now they are calling my cell phone. I don't answer to any number I don't recognize. Here is a list of numbers they are using: (same recording)

Received a robo call on my cell phone from 702-705-5278.  My # is on the do not call registry; also, robo calls are illegal in Washington state.  Filed a complaint with state attorney general.  We'll see if anything happens.

B*****ds just called me and I answered the unfamiliar number because I was expecting a call from my out-of-town cousin.  (the area code was 2 digits off) Yeah, they wanted to tell me of a program to lower my interest rate on my credit card.  Since I answered, and was already registering as a "live" number, I pressed 1 to speak to someone.  A heavily accented woman answered and when I said I was on the Do Not Call list, she hung up on me!!  Needless to say, I'm off to report these _)@$*&%*s now.....

recieved call from this number claiming to be Card Member Services representing several banks offering to lower my credit card interest to 6.5%. Some of the banks she claimed to represent were Capital One, CitiBank and Bank Of America. She then asked for me to give me the credit card number of the card with the highest balance. I told her that if she actually represented the companies that I carry a card from, she would know that info since she called me and would have my phone number to pull up my accounts. She persisted and then started guessing the first four digits. I told her that I did not believe her, she was not getting my info and I was disconnecting the call. After I got home, I contacted Capital One and they advised me that they can't even see my full account number, just the last four. That it is industry standard not to verbally ask for such info, the computer may ask before you get a rep, but the rep will never ask. They will ask for last four of card, last four of ssn, address verification and such like that. Be aware of these kinds of scams and do not give out you info. If you are curious about the call, contact your card issuer and ask them. Make them aware of the call.

Person first called from 702 705 5278 and spoke to my husband stating they were credit card services company working with our credit card companies and that they could lower our credit card rate to 6.5% and asked for credit card number.  Said another person would call in 30 minutes to complete transaction.  Second call came from 805 580 5218 asking for more information.  Luckily, I woke up to hear my husband talking to the person and grabbed the phone from him.  I questioned the guy thoroughly and called my credit card from another phone while the guy was still on the phone.  When he figured out what I was doing he said "thank you for wasting both of our time" and hung up.  I cancelled the card my husband had given them the number for immediately.  NEVER give out your credit card numbers to anyone, EVER.  Total scam by these people.  I don't know if they are telemarketers or just individuals trying to do identity theft.  What really makes me mad is that we are on the National Do Not Call list.

Wish there was a way to just block incoming calls that don't display a caller ID.  That would help a lot.  These criminals just won't stop.

robo call saying I can lower my master charge payments...do not have a master card...scumm bags need to stop using up my minutes....harassment...3 times last week....

Continuous calls from them...shows "Customer Service" on the caller ID.  They have called several times a day...every day.

Rec'd a call at 8:59 AM PDT, 6/30/12.  They did not leave a message.  When will people learn that if I receive a call from unkown, out of my area, I'm not going to anser it!!!!!!

I, too, am on the DNC List, yet just now received a fraudulent robo call/message regarding my so-called credit card on my cell phone. Voice was female, no accent, no name, no business ID. Only a request to call a number to give credit card information to receive...hung up before message ended. SICK to death of scum-sucking scammers! Please FTC! Do your JOB! I put the number on "Blocked Caller List".

They keep calling my cell phone. Don't know who they are . No messages, Call on Saturdays too. This is ridiculous.

Caller ID just said "Nevada Call" and they called at 957am today. No one was there when I answered. I'm getting really tired of all of these calls to my home phone that's on the Do Not Call list and is an unlisted number. As***les need to stop calling!!!
