ive been reading these posts for years now because i also get weird harrassing numbers calling me from time to time and it pisses me off.

i wonder if theres a market for something like this.  (and im just speaking hypothetically of course)

once an alleged bill collector contacts you i believe that they have established a business relationship with you.

and once they do that, i believe that you are now allowed to contact them back without limitation, via phone and fax.

now what if you, hypothetically, had a laptop or computer that was preloaded with winfax 10 lets say, and you wanted to send them some correspondence that you wanted to  be absolutely sure they received.  (i believe you can send a multipage doc lets say 50 pages, with 100 redials.  and you can send at least 50 different versions on one campaign......you get the picture)

oh, and you can *67 your number if you choose.  not that you need to, they have established the business relationship with you.  and most calling these days from home is free unlimited local and long distance.

i rather like the idea of not only tying up their fax machine for months or years on end, but also having their 800 voice line number run nonstop ( i think they still have to pay a per minute charge for inbound calls on their 800 lines).  someone has to clear those messages out now dont they.

what would you guys pay for a preloaded system that would do that for you (and for every other person thats calling you and harrassing you)

just wondering if theres a market out there for this.  (im not saying i would ever do this or have done this for years, just hypothetical.

winfax only runs on xp machines i think but im thinking about an ebook or even selling preloaded laps with step by step instructions to give the scammer/harrassers a taste of their own medicine.

This number called my voicemail.  There was a recorded voice message saying something about making significant income in 2014.   This is the first time a message was left.  Usually it's a hang-up.  I am guessing with the variety of experiences people have with this number, it is a scam of some sort versus a regular "make income" telemarketing call.   I think there may be disposable numbers scammers trade around on the internet, and different types of scammers use them at different times.  I don't know.  

Who is this person?

As a licensed health and dental insurance agent, I can assure you that real, ethical, licensed agents do not behave like this.  Either these are scammers (which is what it sounds like, trying to say anything to sound like they're connected with health insurance), or a legitimate health and dental insurance brokerage has hired these clowns as a third party not knowing they are operating unethically and illegally.  

You have a right to sue under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act -- if you can find out who is generating the calls.  There are internet focus groups that band together to sue unethical marketers under the TCPA.  Search for them on the Internet.  

You can also turn any licensed health insurance agent who IS connected with such program into their state licensing deparment, for engaging in unethical telephone marketing practices (and the agents will not be exempt just becase they hired a third party on their behalf).

Don't take this sitting down, folks.  Dig up as much info as you can; sue them, report anyone licensed who is using them.

And yes, I get calls from them too.  Weekly.

I had received a call from this number about dental insurance and I had freaked out on them to not call again...since then I had received one more call from them and then nothing when i did not answer thank God!

Too many calls no matter what time

I get calls from them every day, sometimes every hour for 4 hours! I have Verizon and they have a free feature to block up to 5 numbers for 90 days.  So I did that and it seems to work, I just have to renew that number every 90 days on Verizon's website.

This number calls my cell at least 3-4 times a day and disconnects when I answer. If you try to return the call you get a busy signal. They call at all times in the day. I'm and sick and tired of my phone ringing and it being this number.  Is there anyway I can stop this????????

Keeps calling me 2 or 3 times a day, never leaves vm, when I answer it just hangs up

I have been getting calls from this number non-stop. I received 5 calls from this person yesterday and when I answered, it simply disconnected the call. Now I've received my first call again this morning. I answered, ready to tell someone off, and sure enough no one spoke and the caller hung up AGAIN! I am starting to get really irritated. Who does this really? I put myself on the do not call list.

Called 7 times today alone, never says anything, called back twice to tell them off but just busy signal. Just filed an FCC complaint. People please do the same to show them we don't take this sh*t! https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action?form_type=1088G

I want these calls stopped

Calls 4+ times a day. A robot is on the other end so I can't get off the list. Finally got to a person and asked to be removed. They hung up.

This number has been calling me 2-3 times per day. They never answer or leave a message.

I keep getting calls and no answers, It is really starting to upset me. Please make them stop.

How can we get this to stop? It has gone on for months and lately like today we got 6 calls from this number.

For me it started yesterday with a couple of calls.  They have called my cell eight times so far today while I am at work and in meetings.

There is no one there when I answer.  
Part of my job is to answer when someone calls me.

I am calling my cell provider to block them.

Everyday for the past week now this is rediculous! No one there!

I keep getting this irritating call by someone claiming to be from "Dental Services".

They have called four times in the past 24 hours. Been calling off and on for over a month now. I aniswer once they ask if I'm over 18 said "no" (I'm 42 sound young though) they said ok and hung up but they still call a lot even thinking I'm under age.

I have received 5 Phone calls in 3 days. This is bordering on harassment. Any way to stop these phone calls? I get them every single week day.

Called twice in 2 days, Pick up the phone but then they hang up.  I'll just not answer it anymore.

This number keeps calling me and I have no idea who it is and I want whoever it is to stop harassing me!

I have received 5 calls from 702-705-5287, I tried calling back and get busy signal. they never leave a VM and always call my cell. I tried finding a way to block this on my smart phone but apparently there is no way to do that. I am getting tired of these calls even sent a complaint today to Indiana's Attorney General
