Same here I stayed at New York New York and now I am getting these calls. I finally answered and the person was very rude when I said I didn't call a radio station and therefore I didn't want to give them my name. He then basically hung up on me.

Stop calling

Got a call - they did not answer when I said hello - my friends say that I sound like an answering machine on the phone (Good Evening - pause - you have reached a real person --- by that time they have hung up) works about 70% of the time.

calls, no answer , no message, nothing.

This company advertises on the Vibe 99.7. I called their Vegas Trivia contest to win tickets to a Vegas show. Received a call back after I answered the question correctly. Then got a sales pitch on winning two tickets anywhere in the continental US but had to come in for a time share seminar to receive the tickets. As well, I had to have a salary of 50K or more to qualify. I told the kid I did not and where should I pick up the free tickets. He then asked me if I had any female (as I am) friends that made over 50K that could come in and pick up the free airfare after I went to the seminar. I said, "I would never do that to any of my friends." And he asked, "Why not?" I told him, "My answer is NO. Where should I pick up my show tickets?" He continued to push and ask "Why wouldn't you want your friend to help you out? They could go on a trip with you." I didn't need to explain to this kid about how I wasn't going to involve any of my friends nor evade their privacy. Once ago said, "No. You will not get anything else from me. Where can I pick up the free tickets?" He told me the Jockey Club. Now I get phone calls from this number every since I called into that contest. In the trivia contest ad they say it is sponsored by Las Vegas Tourism Bureau if I remember correctly. Makes LV look bad.

Just got back Sunday from Vegas. Stayed at #GoldenNugget. Today is Tuesday. After reading previous posts I'm left wondering why in the world they would give our number to a timeshare company or at least give us the option to opt out? We never filled out any forms. Frankly by the end of our vacation we were getting pretty rude with the time share pushers. Now they are calling my husband's WORK cell phone several tiems a day!!

Yep, me too. I received a call from this number tonight and all I heard was a clicking noise. I finally hung up but it was just dead air, except for the two clicking sounds I heard. There is a special place in hell for these scam artists. This has happened before from different numbers. Some numbers do not even have existing area codes, like they are calling from a computer base. Blocked the number!

Keep getting calls on my cell from this number. After weeks and weeks of calls with no messages i finally decided to answer. When i picked up some guy (young sounding) was laughing and talking to someone in the background. Unlike most of the posts on this, I haven't been to Vegas in 3 years and never give this number out.

So tired of these calls.Sometimes they call really early in the morning and several times a day. I am a single lady and have no idea how they got my number other than it was grand-parented down from some other people who were dark nefarious people; but I had no Idea about that until years later. I am also disabled and a senior; I have tried to block this number with not much luck. Going to try again. Glad to know I am not the only one getting harassed with these rotten so called people, seem like scum to me.Thanks for helping me today, brought some comfort.

This number called my house last night during the dinner hr. but did not leave a message. Have no clue who they are. How do I get them to stop?

The add on the radio station says it is sponsored by the Las Vegas tourism department. I have friends who have answered the calls. If you pick up your tickets right away you just get the tickets. If you wait then they call you to set up a "free" vacation. You pay a deposit based on the "vacation." In exchange you go to a 90 to 120 minute presentation while you are there. My aunt does this all the time. For us we live close enough to Vegas it makes for a nice weekend getaway. Free hotel, 2 nights of free show tickets, half price buffets, $100 in free slot play, AND gas vouchers. Even if we don't end up getting our deposit refunded we are still coming out ahead. She did say there is a one time check in fee of $39 if you check in on a Friday or Saturday night.

They called me twice last night. The woman was laughing when my husband answered the phone. She asked a question but, my husband couldnt understand her. He said 'what?' and she said it again and again he couldnt understand her he then said 'who is this!!??' and she hung up. 5 minutes I get a call back and the person was laughing and they said 'oh god someone help me' and laughed again and then hung up. I just called and the recording states it is Resort Stay International.
I recently won show tickets on the radio to Vegas. I go often. I am sure this where they got my name and number.

702-749-3838. Started getting these calls a couple days after getting home from a vegas trip. I think it is cause I called the number on the radio station called the Hiway ... while on hold they transfered me to some line claiming to be the tourist hotline for vegas.
| HJH 2013-11-20 13:11:58 Unknown |
Same as most of the above. I've been getting these calls on my work number which is odd. As yet there have been no messages.
I stayed in a hotel in Vegas over the summer, but none of the registration information was in my name. Very strange, but not worth following up.

It is a travel package company. They are offering a package to Nevada.

Same here - just completed a stay in Las Vegas and within a week of return started receiving calls from multiple companies wanting us to come out and stay for free. Sure, buddy - and are you going to cover my airfare and other expenses? And why would I want to return to the same city I just visited. Offer me a "free" trip somewhere else and maybe I'll be interested (or not). I believe these guys are calling on behalf of Diamond Resorts (headquartered in Las Vegas). Every casino we went into, we were accosted by a sales person wanting to offer us a "free stay" at Polo Towers, which is a DI property. We never gave them any contact information, so I suspect they are getting names and phone numbers from the hotels.

It may be legit, but that does *not* give them the right to telemarket their services and not use the DNC list..
You link has been reported for removal also..

These guys are legit. They might be a pain in the a**, but they are offering you a genuine service. Also, if you call this number back you get the Jockey Club. Please see here: rci.com/RCI/rdg/availableUnits.do

These jerks keep calling once or twice a day, don't leave messages, and when I do answer they try to sell me a timeshare with a "free" trip to Vegas. I told them to take me off their list and not call again, but they keep calling anyway.

Just got a call from this number...we have never been to Vegas so I have no clue why they keep calling me!
