Guess they are back using this number ! I tried to call it back and it says its disconnected. WTF !!

Okay, want to hear something totally weird?  I have a landline phone in South Dakota, area code 605.  I am unlisted and usually when I call someone with my house phone it comes up as "private name, private number" on their caller ID.  But once in a while I've been told it comes up on people's caller ID as this 702 number.  Happened when I called my husband's cell tonight and also the other day when I couldn't find my cell phone & called it with the landline to locate it lol.  I've called the number and got no answer.  Got curious and Googled the phone number and found this site.  I can guarantee I'm no telemarketer LOL.  I am going to call the phone company tomorrow and find out why it does this!

constant calling

called this number back, lady answered said she was an alarm company. tried to send complaint to fcc but wanted to charge me for the file i was sending for 9.99. can't do that. will report to donot call list.

someone keeps calling me from this # and hanging up. need to report to police or someone.

They called at 3:19 p.m. today and told my husband that "thieves are cutting phone and power lines" in our neighborhood so they can break into homes and steal things. They, of course, can protect us with a security system. Yeah, right. My husband told them to bang off and hung up. Then at about 7:35 p.m., they called again and I answered. They said nothing but I could hear someone on the line. Obviously scumbags. I filed two online complaints with the FCC just now, and I recommend that everyone else who is hassled by them do the same thing.

Do a Google search on "FCC" and one of the first options is to file a complaint. It walks you through the process and takes maybe 2 minutes. If enough people file complaints they WILL take action. They prosecuted another company that used to bombard my fax with spam faxes.

This number calls three to four times a day and it is very annoying    
I would like the calls to stop.

I've been getting many calls from 2 guys claiming to be  working for a closed down security business called First Defense on 2235 E Flamingo Rd LV 89119.. Business Ph 702-731-1748 (not in service).. If you call 702-824-9734, you get a male recording to leave your name & phone #.. I hope these criminals get busted, before they rape & murder their next victim

Some heavy accented bozo from 1st Alert Alarms asked if i had anything of value worth stealing!! He wood send his crew over to check out my place free of charge-- so i said ok & they dident show up!!!

These people call every day and don't leave a message soooo   when they call I just hang up on them...... HATE THESE PEOPLE

Calls every night.

This number call and asked for my daughter who hasn't lived at this number for almost four years. We don't even talk so she wouldn't give out this number. Just another scam!!!!!!!!

This number calls in the early morning, afternoon and evening.  They do not leave a message.  It is frustrating when a person has a little time to relax and these guys keep calling.  We are on the Do Not Call List and these people must not pay attention to that.  I just want them to quit calling me.  Thanks

THIRD CALL TODAY. CALLED METRO TO ADVISE.  THEY WILL LOOK INTO.

I've reported this number to the FCC.  Hopefully they will stop all these calls.  I'm on the no call list, for what that's worth!

They have phoned me multiple times. Shouting obscenities at them does not work. They do not take the hint. Reporting them to the Do Not Call list also does not work.

Keep getting a call from this number about selling security systems...most definitely a scam

Keep getting calls from this number but no  one is on the line when I answer.  How can we stop these people?

Called and left no message.  I see from earllier posts that its a sales call from an alarm company.

Just got a call from this number, took the guy a few seconds to talk after I answered. he knew my first name and said he was from Firts Alert Alarm system. There was sound of traffic on his end like he was calling from a cell phone. This doesnt sound like a proffesional company, BE AWARE!

I don't answer either, and they stay on the answering machine.

I have gotten several calls from this number.  They don't leave a message.  The person did not hang up the phone and my answering machine had a two minute message of breathing, groans, snorting, coughing and a bunch of background noise.

maybe they are calling to see if you have an alarm before they brake in???
