I did not answer the phone when this person called. (rec'd 01-15-08 at 9:20 am. ) I don't answer when I don't know who it is.  I looked in the reverse phone directory and it appears to be a non pub number.  It looks like a business and it is a identified as a landline. I called the number back from my daughters phone and I got a disconnect recording.  Probably an outgoing line only. I too am a new home real estate sales agent.......very coincidental with the comment posted from the agent on 09-01-07. Who is this lunatic???

A man that I know is a scam artist accidently called from this number, usually he calls from call1 or a 234 aera code. The scam is about purchasing something worth millions of dollars and then selling it back to the U.S. for more. I called the number back but all I get is a busy number.

I got 2 calls from this number at 12:15 and 12:16 am.  They didn't leave a message and when I tried to call it back it said it was a non-working number.

We got a call at 7am this morning 02.25.08 asking whether our number was a cell phone or a vonage line...weird.  Called the number back but it was a non-working number.

This number call my phone 03-03-08 @ 3:39 pm and @ 4:38 pm the first and i didn't pick up, i called back same non working number, they call back today 03-04-08 and i answer i heard music in the back ground and when i ask who the hell it was they hang up, again i called back and not working. I think that someone needs to go to the police with this.

i've received numerous calls from this number, but only after i don't answer the phone from 876-437-9151.

This is the second time I received a call from this number.  I haven't answered because I too don't answer numbers I don't know. And like all of you when I called it back it was a non working number.  Just thought my feedback would help if someone does go to the police.  I received the most recen call @10:43am on Mar.25, 2008.

(876-437-9151) The guy has started harassing my mother on her cell phone and has now found our house phone number. If this comes up on your phone imm. call the police and report it. He is a sexual deviant.

A guy called me this morning at 7:50 am telling me he is one of my neighbors and he has pictures of me taking off my clothes. I am a real estate agent and he said he will put them in my open houses if I did not give him my word.....?  To do what I don't know I hung up the phone. He tried to call back and I did not answer.

I got a call at 2 am. It rang about 2 times & stopped ringing. They called right back & I debated about answering it or not as it was a 702 area code & I live in Vegas. I went ahead & answered it thinking that maybe a friend needed help, but was rather short & rude when I answered. Imagine my suprise when it was my fiance` that is in Poland right now serving as a chief engineer on a liquid propane gas ship! I asked where he was & he said "Poland, Baby. At work." I asked what phone he was calling from & he said "Mine." I asked him why the number came across as 702. He didn't know what was going on either. When I called the number back after we got done talking, it said that the number was not in service... yada, yada, yada.

I just got a call and since I live I live in Vegas (702) area code, I was debating whether or not to answer. I didn't, no message was left. However, I was curious so see if I had missed something "important" so I put the number in google and found all of your posts.  thanks for the heads up everyone!

This number came up on my caller ID as well. Not 1 minute before someone called 813-366-9800 also noted by others as a scam from someone with a middle eastern accent. I wonder if these 2 numbers are linked somehow. Well, they can call all they and waste there time because I won't answer.

This number along with the 876-473-9151, has continued calling me nonstop for two days, if i don't answer the 876 number, the 853 number would call, then if i didn't answer that, i would get con't calls from an umknown number. WTF? Why do these people want to bug me? I was actually dumb enough to the call the number back with my cell phone, b/c of free long distance, and now the 876=473-9151 wont stop calling. I have done nothing but yell and scream profanities at this man with an accent, and all he can say is "please don't hang up, when was the last time you had sex, can we have phone sex, can i listen to you and your boyfriend have sex" while making many other derogitory comments...this has got to be stopped before i go off the deep end. Obviously these individuals have no concept of time, considering he was calling at 1am, 4am, 5am, 9am, and so on...the calling ceased during a few hours this afternoon. When i arrived home this evening, only being gone 7 hours, i had 31 hangup messages on my phone, that's not to count how many times he called and hung up before the answering machine picked up.

I was in class when I got a call from this number on my cell phone. Some woman was on the line saying "This call is for PAB (me) is she there?" "Hello" "Hello!" "HELLO!!!" "What the F**K! I KNOW somebody's there! Why are you playing these games?!" In the background, someone else could be heard talking. Then this woman says to the background voice "I KNOW someone's there, but they are just playing F**KING games & WASTING my TIME! HELLOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" This went on for the minute 1/2 that my voice mail allows for a message. FYI under FCC law it is illegal for ANY telemarketer to call a cell phone. If you get ANY information out of them, they can be sued for $500 per phone call & pay a $11,000 fine per viloation.

I got one today at 13:45 hours.Lots of carrier noise on the line and some mumbling on the other end.Line stayed up for about 1 minutes and terminated with carrier loss (burst of 2600Hz tone).It ID'd as (702)853-0100.It WAS NOT originating from a switchoffice in the Las Vegas area.The prefix 853 does indeed belong to Embarq.
Best thing to do if you see this on your caller ID is screw with them, waste their time as much as you can. These idiots get paid per "hit" and you devalue that each minute you keep them on the phone.

Hey Just recevied a call from this number, but didnt anwser since i did not recognize it. Then 1 minute later received another call but my caller id showed it as unavailable. Dont anwser calls you dont recognize, most are scams. If its an important call, they would leave a message.

Got a call from 1-702-853-0100 stating it was a collect call requesting my credit card # before the call could be place wanted my name, well I gave my name DID not give my credit card #. I have never given a credit card # over the phone, I quicly called Embarq only to find out it is a possible SCAM as a operator always handles COLLECT calls, notified METRO.

I received about 8 calls between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. I tried to call back this number and also received the out of service message. Between calls from this number, I also received call from 876-437-9151. I called this number back and it sounded like someone answered, but you could not understand them. I believe the two numbers (702-853-0100 and 876-437-9151) are related.

I just got a callon my non pub number from this number and I looked it up too.  It is exactly as everyone has stated above.  I did not answer because I did not recogznize the number.  No msg left either.  I could not beleive what I read about the number and the scamming!!!  Hey did anyone notify the cops?

Just got a call and the recorded voice told me that I have a message waiting for me about personal business and all I had to do was push '1' on my phone pad to retrieve it.  I pushed 1 and she said, 'I do not recognize the action you took.  Please try again.'  WTF?!  If you're running a scam then you should make sure your phone systems work, right?

What I don't get are the varied responses other people left here.  What kind of business is this?

Called me and said They do Search Engine Placement. For sure India accent. Went on and on about my website. Tried to get me for $99.00 set up fee and $149.00 a month with a guarantee for my website to be on 100 search engines.
WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!! SCAM !!!!! I CALLED THE # BACK  NUMBER NOT IN SERVICE.

I got a call tonight and since I live in the Vegas area, I answered it.  The same East Indian accent reported by others.  He started out as some type of insurance surveyor and I hung up after the fourth question.  No attempt at a scam atthat point.

702 is the Las Vegas, Nevada area

I am a VP for a local business and had an order placed by a Kelvin Fletcher via email. It looked suspicious and when I had the person stating to be Kelvin Fletcher call me back, my caller ID picked up the number 702-853-0100..I questioned the person as to his identity and he got suspicious and just hung up.

Be very careful..  This is an absolute scam in evry imaginary tactic.  I was was sent a check for $49,250.00 and of course made copiies and sent it back.  The first contact said they were in China the second in Manitoba Canada and the return address with no name affixed was from Moose Jaw, SK.

The same could be said for the primary individual very heavy accent claiming to Mr. Wang Lee.  The individual from Canada calim to be Mark Draper!!!

Of course upon redial it was a non working number.  This call only showed up on the ID after there were about four consecutive calls and I told the gentleman on the other end I could noy understand him>>>>

I had some winter tires on sale on craigslist. I got a response from somebody by e-mail. He wanted to purchase the tire from me unseen. He told me he will send UPS over to pick them up and needs my account numbers so his boss can wire the money into the account. When I asked him to call me he told me that he is moving from Canada to the US and his phone is already disconected. I replyed that I will only deal in cash and in person and he tried to reinsure me in several e-mail that it was OK to give him my account info. He did not get the tires from me nor did he get my account info.

the caller using the number 702-853-0100 has actually left messages on my cell phone, the person claiming to be Kenneth Mooore, i met on match.com.  in the message the caller left, he explains how much he loves me.  im really very creaped out by the whole thing.  on the morning of Nov. the 15th the caller called repeated times trying to speak with me, i refused to pick up the phone.  with so many reports about this number i have to question why its still in operating service.

I had a posting on craigslist because I was trying to rent out my spare room. I had a "woman" very interested however she claimed she lived in the united kingdom and wanted to send me money to hold the room for her. I agreed. I received an email a few days later saying that her boss accidentally sent ALL of her moving expenses, which was $4800 instead of the $500 we originally agreed upon. "She" was very persistant on asking me to deposit the check that was sent and wait for it to clear then send the remainding $4300 back to her. I knew it was a scam the whole time because this happened to my sister. I went along with everything. I finally received the check in my PO Box and it was obviously a fake. I then received a phone call from a man with a middle eastern accent from phone number 702-853-0100 asking me to send the money back. I was not going to do this. Since then, I have reposted my room for rent on craigs list and have had the same thing happen twice and the posting has only been up 2 days. Please be cautious and DO NOT give out your personal information to ANYONE!

the first call i got nobody said anything, then not 3 minutes later the same number called, it was a female's voice saying "i think i got the wrong number." then she hung up.  also these two calles came in at about 4:30am.
